JNS.org – Would a Palestinian state resolve or exacerbate the Israel-Palestinian conflict? Would a Palestinian state enhance or erode Middle East stability? p>Would a focus on the Palestinian issue bolster or cripple the expansion of the Israel-Arab peace process?Would a Palestinian state advance or undermine US interests? The “two-state solution” policy is based on the following assumptions:The Palestinian issue is crucial to Arab countries and the crux of the Arab-Israeli conflict. The proposed Palestinian state would peacefully coexist with the Jewish state.Land-for-peace is a prerequisite for the resolution of the Palestinian issue, requiring an Israeli retreat from land (the mountain ridges of...

The growing number of coronavirus infections in the United States threatens the political success of President Joe Biden’s presidency. The president and his team have spent months promoting his handling of the coronavirus and the vaccination effort with a steady drumbeat claiming success in the battle against the virus, but the milestones promoted as victories for the president are running thin. Throughout his presidency, Biden and his team have argued by trusting the science and the federal health experts, he was able to bring America back to normal. The Washington Post reported Saturday that Biden officials are “increasingly anxious” about...

The Georgia chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) was intent on making news this week, but apparently it couldn’t decide how.The objective was clear — to smear the Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange (GILEE), because GILEE takes American police leaders to Israel.CAIR’s effort was part of a years-long campaign by Israel-bashers — such as the Jewish Voice for Peace “Deadly Exchange” campaign — to discredit similar police exchanges. For years, they have claimed that the programs are somehow responsible for police violence in America, especially against Black people.CAIR issued a release Sunday touting a “Press Conference to Release...

At least one official in the Biden administration failed to comply with federal law when they unmasked Tucker Carlson’s name after it was inadvertently (allegedly) collected by our intelligence community monitoring the communications of third parties. And the unnecessary unmasking of his name, followed by the inevitable leak, alerted foreign adversaries that their communications were being collected. On July 7, 2021, Axios' Jonathan Swan reported, “Two sources familiar with Carlson's communications said his two Kremlin intermediaries live in the United States, but the sources could not confirm whether both are American citizens or whether both were on U.S. soil at...

Conservative commentator Matt Walsh very observantly noticed some things that just don’t add up in a recent photo op posted by Democrat Senator Michael Bennet over the weekend. The Colorado Senator who is running for reelection in 2022 and was originally appointed to the position in 2009, has elitist roots but you wouldn’t know it from his “man of the people” Twitter post on Saturday in which he portrays himself as out in a field doing some “down to earth” farming. He’s “one of us,” don’t you know? But as Matt Walsh shows us, at least when it comes to...

Arizona Senate President Karen Fann spoke with Western Journal last week for an in-depth interview on the historic forensic audit of Maricopa County. Fann said Friday she is “burned out” and wants to retire. Fann told Western Journal that a third of her emails are incredibly vile hate. Apparently, her staff allows the abusive mail to get through. Fann explained how the hate is triggered and ramps up when the liberal media attacks her. Karen Fann and her family regularly receive death threats. Fann recently received a package containing white powder which forced changes to her security. Karen Fann: “It’s...

In Nevada, state and federal lawmakers said they are investigating a possible shortage of jet fuel that could delay cargo delivery and passenger travel at Reno-Tahoe International Airport in the coming days. A spike in demand for jet fuel both by commercial airlines and from firefighting aircraft in Montana and the Pacific Northwest led to departure problems and daylong flight delays recently at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. In California, recent flights in and out of Fresno Yosemite International Airport were disrupted by jet fuel shortages blamed on the lack of tanker truck driver deliveries.

The finish line of the men’s triathlon Monday morning looked something like a battlefield scene, bodies sprawled out on ground, trainers coming to the aid of overheated athletes, even a few being helped off with their arms draped over shoulders. This despite the Olympics moving the start time to 6:30 a.m. in an effort to beat the heat that, as these Tokyo Games have proven, remains undefeated. Temps still reached 85 degrees with a relative humidity of 67.1 percent at start time. No, the Japanese don’t have to apologize for the weather here — the searing sun, the sky high...

If the Public Utilities Commission OK's Xcel’s largest ever rate increase, electric bills for Colorado customers will have increased 20% since the start of the year.. Xcel Energy has proposed a massive transmission project to help move power from rural areas to the urban Front Range. Xcel Energy is pushing for a record $344 million rate increase it says it needs to build a smarter, greener electric grid. But consumer advocates and state regulators are pushing back over the price tag. A major concern is that along with an earlier rate increase and other pending requests since the start of...

Reports having become current that a fight had occurred at Harper's Ferry, a dispatch was sent to the Agent of the Associated Press there, making inquiry into the matter. The following was received in answer, but contained no signature, and is therefore not entirely credible: "Yes, we have had a severe fight, but we routed the rebels completely." BALTIMORE, Thursday, July 25-10 P.M. We have been unable to obtain anything more about the fight. It is thought it was a mere skirmish with secession cavalry. PROCLAMATION OF GEN. PATTERSON. HEAD-QUARTERS DEPARTMENT OF PENNSYLVANIA. HARPER'S FERRY, July 25, 1861. GENERAL ORDERS....

VIDEOAfter being booed off the stage at the Turning Point rally in Phoenix in a most humiliating manner, Arizona State Senator Michelle Ugenti-Rita went on an unhinged Twitter rant in which she denounced the Maricopa County ballot audit as the "Trump audit." As you can see here, there are many clips of Ugenti-Rita strongly supporting the ballot audit...right up to the moment she was booed off the stage due to her killing a voter integrity bill. And now suddenly she has a "miraculous" revelation and now opposes what she calls the "Trump audit." Hissy fit rage does strange things to...

After months of slow news, former President Donald Trump is causing a ruckus in the Wyoming political world. According to a myriad of sources, the two GOP U. S. House candidates being invited for endorsement consideration are Cheyenne attorney Darin Smith and Casper legislator Chuck Gray. Although State Sen. Anthony Bouchard was the first to jump into the race against incumbent Liz Cheney, he was not invited by Trump. Trump has a big-time grudge against Cheney because she was one of 10 Republican House members who voted to impeach the former president. Cheney has become even more vocal since then...

The Cultural Revolution has claimed some very attractive new scalps. The Victoria’s Secret Angels and the brand’s signature “miracle bras” are history. As The New York Times recently noted, Victoria’s Secret’s parent company, L Brands, was unacceptably “out of step with the broader culture” but is now “trying to redefine what we consider sexy.” The move comes after 2019 revelations that Leslie H. Wexner, the founder and chairman of L Brands, helped the late child sex predator Jeffrey Epstein meet some of his victims, and presided over what the Grey Lady called “a misogynistic corporate culture that trafficked in sexism,...

A refugee from Turkey was today stabbed at Speakers Corner in Hyde Park, London. Hatun Tash, a regular speaker at London’s Speaker’s Corner in Hyde Park was today stabbed in the middle of the Corner in broad daylight. On Sunday 25 July 2021, the Corner had been drenched in heavy rain for most of the day, the numbers present were therefore much lower than would normally be expected on a July Sunday afternoon. Whilst small groups huddled together trying to keep dry under the trees, at around 3:30pm an individual lunged at Hatun, punching and stabbing her with a knife....

When I first saw the letter reproduced here from something called “Dallas Justice Now,” calling on wealthy whites living in the affluent Highland Park neighborhood of Dallas not to have their kids apply to elite colleges so that there would be more room for minority applicants, I assumed that it was a satire or a hoax. But it turns out to be authentic. And there’s actually much to recommend this if you think about it for a moment: what Dallas Justice Now is doing is calling out the smug virtue-signaling of liberal “white allies” and demanding that they put their...

Prior research has demonstrated that gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (MSM) who have experienced adverse childhood events (ACEs) such as sexual abuse are significantly more likely to report HIV-related outcomes. ... Included in the study were 372 HIV-negative, MSM of color. Participants were asked to recall if any sexual violence experiences (SVEs), including their first experience of anal sex, were forced, coerced, non-consensual or for survival. For the elite left, opposition to gun rights is in part a cultural statement of antipathy to red-state values. Yet a small but important part of the progressive coalition—criminal-defense lawyers—can’t afford to treat gun laws as one more culture-war bludgeon. Hence a remarkable amicus brief by a coalition of defense lawyers for the indigent, led by the Black Attorneys of Legal Aid, asking the Supreme Court to expand gun rights in the Second Amendment case it will decide next term... the brief from the criminal defense lawyers, which includes the Bronx Defenders and the Brooklyn Defender Services, argues against the...
