The NSC ignores Islamic terrorism and joins the Obama-Biden jihad against ordinary Americans. h=550 "This National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism lays out a comprehensive approach to addressing the threat while safeguarding bedrock American civil rights and civil liberties – values that make us who we are as a nation,” explains an introduction attributed to Joe Biden in the document, released last month by the National Security Council. This strategy, readers learn “is narrowly tailored to focus specifically on addressing violence and the factors that lead to violence.” As it happens, this “narrowly tailored” approach is nothing new. The sculpture is of a young, distraught boy standing atop a red tower with a melting shark in his arms, a visual warning of rising sea levels and the destruction they could wreak. But for some residents on the southern edge of Vancouver's False Creek, the proposed 7.8-metre-tall sculpture, to be installed temporarily amid manicured lawns and waterfront residences, is a blemish. "Do I think the art is suitable for this location? No," said Maggie Rayner, a resident of a neighbouring building, while strolling past the site Sunday afternoon. "I don't think it's appropriate, the scale for the space." Those...

Bassem Eid is a Palestinian analyst and human-rights campaigner who chooses to live in Jerusalem, under Israeli rule, rather than in those parts of the West Bank where Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority hold sway. He’s not fond either of the PA, or of Hamas, and he’s horrified that those claiming to champion the Palestinians fail to realize how cruelly treated they are by their own corrupt leaders. Bassem Eid’s scolding of the Squad — Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, and Ayanna Pressley — is here: “Palestinian Activist: It’s Time Ilhan Omar and ‘The Squad’ Learned the...

Most EU countries, including Hungary, have voiced solidarity with LGBTIQ protesters in Georgia after a violent mob halted their Pride march on Monday (4 July). “We condemn today’s violent attacks on the civic activists, community members, and journalists, as well as the failure of the government leaders and religious officials to condemn this violence,” the EU states’ embassies in Tbilisi said in a joint statement. “Participation in peaceful gatherings is a human right guaranteed by Georgia’s constitution. Violence is simply unacceptable and cannot be excused,” they also said. And they called on those who incited or carried out hate-crimes to...

resident Joe Biden's take on American sprinter Sha'Carri Richardson's one-month suspension for marijuana use was similar to hers and correct as far as it went. "Rules are rules," he said on Saturday, and "everybody knows what the rules are going in." Biden added that "whether that should remain the rule is a different issue." But as the collapse of pot prohibition continues apace in the United States, that issue is unavoidable. Now that 44% of Americans live in states that treat marijuana like alcohol, the lingering distinction between these two intoxicants makes less sense than ever before. Richardson, who tested...

Cori Bush (D-Mo.), dismissed Independence Day Sunday as a holiday meant for white people before claiming: “This land is stolen land and Black people still aren’t free.” “When they say that the 4th of July is about American freedom, remember this: the freedom they’re referring to is for white people,” tweeted Bush, a member of the progressive “Squad” of lawmakers that includes Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) downplayed the dangers of climate change at a Republican luncheon earlier this summer, according to a new report. "I don't know about you guys, but I think climate change is — as Lord Monckton said — bullsh*t," Johnson said according to CNN's KFILE, reporting the Republican did not utter the expletive but mouthed it instead. "By the way, it is," Johnson then added, according to a report. Lord Christopher Monckton is a British conservative climate change denier and political pundit. "What are we doing here? Well, we're killing ourselves," Johnson said at the event in early...

In recent years, there has been an explosion of academic work declaring everything from meritocracy to math to be racist or vehicles of white dominance. Offering statistical analysis to support such claims is itself problematic since statistics have also been declared racist. Now however Law professor Mathilde Cohen of the University of Connecticut has found an untapped area of white dominance. In a talk at Sciences Po Paris and the University of Nanterre, Cohen explained how “French eating habits reinforced the ‘dominance’ of white people over ethnic minorities.”Presumably, the French themselves are allowed to continue to eat their own food...

To plunge their hands into the filth, so that you can keep yours clean!" ―Jim Gordon in The Black Knight TrilogyIf you don’t subscribe to the Epoch Times – one of the last news sites not filled with leftist propaganda - you should. Can Barronelle Stutzman, a Christian, run her flower shop in keeping with her faith? The Supreme Court -- with determinative votes cast by Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh -- has effectively decided she cannot. "My faith is a part of every aspect of my life," Stutzman said in a sworn statement presented seven years ago in a Washington state court. "I believe that God requires me to apply my faith in all that I do whether that is in my personal life or my business." "In the mid-1970s, I began learning the art...

ISMAILIA, Egypt, July 7 (Reuters) - The Ever Given, one of the world's largest container ships, resumed its journey to leave the Suez Canal on Wednesday, 106 days after becoming wedged across a southern section of the waterway for nearly a week and disrupting global trade. The Ever Given started to head north in the late morningacross the Great Bitter Lake, which separates two sections of the canal and where it had been moored with its Indian crew since being refloated on March 29. It then joined the back of a northbound convoy, passing the site of a ceremony where...
