Washington State is prioritizing the “Black, Indigenous & People of Color” and denies vaccines to white people in a race-exclusionary system they claim creates equity and removes barriers. It does neither. At the African American Reach and Teach Health Ministry (AARTH) website, white people are currently not eligible to book a vaccination appointment. They are instead directed to join a waiting list and advised they will be notified when there is a “vaccine surplus available” at a clinic.Vaccine appointment slots at the four sites available via the AARTH website are currently targeted for “Black, Indigenous & People of Color.”The AARTH website...

One of the joys of coaching little kids’ sports is watching them express delight and satisfaction when they do something well. I remember a particular little girl a few years ago who played on my daughter’s tee ball team. This child was tiny. She was hardly larger than the trophy. All the bats were way too big for her - she might as well have been trying to swing a telephone pole. Then, one day she managed to get the bat around and hit a little dribbler in front of home plate. We all shouted “Run to first, run to...

Cardinal Pell: ‘The duty of the German bishops is to uphold the teachings of Scripture’Pell said: “The duty of the German bishops is to uphold the teachings of Scripture, to uphold the teachings of the Church. We stand under those teachings. They’ve got no power to change them -- none of us do.”“What is important is what is in the Word of God, what is in the apostolic tradition. And I don’t think that when push comes to shove they’ll -- and I cross my metaphors -- cross the Rubicon.”The cardinal followed the situation of the Church in Germany through...

This thread post is long because it contains hundreds of records of Data from VAERS at the bottom. If you want to read the comments, it's probably best to return to the forum and click on 'replies' under the thread's title.Below is a VAERS export of all persons under the age of 18 who received the Covid-19 vaccine. These are mostly reported not for an adverse event, but because the vaccine was not supposed to be given to those under 18.My remarks below pertain to only those records which I reviewed; I have not reviewed all of them. Those reporting said...

In a rare, fascinating and far-reaching interview broadcast on the Al-Arabiya, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent a not-too-subtle signal to Pres. Biden that if the White House turns away from Riyadh, the Saudis are cultivating other options. MBS seemed to send a not-so-subtle warning to Biden and his team that the U.S. is not the only game in town, that the Saudis were working hard to diversify their portfolio of global allies. “We’re also working on strengthening our alliances with our partners throughout the world,” not just with the U.S. but with “the UK, France, Europe, other countries…such...

NOW bishops ask for ethical vaccines: too little, too lateBetter late than never? Not in this case. The US Conference of Catholic Bishops has announced a letter-writing campaign, urging Catholics to write to pharmaceutical companies and ask them to produce Covid vaccines that are not tainted by involvement with abortion. One year too late. This might have been a good idea, twelve months ago. In fact it was just twelve months ago that I made the point: “There is no scientific reason why we can’t have a morally acceptable vaccine. The question is: Will we demand it?”We didn’t demand it, and now...

On a recent walk, I came across a neighborhood littered with the yard sign in this photo. It seems the provocative platitudes we’ve seen on bumper stickers for a century have now taken root in our yards. And for the same reason: To tell the world that the sign-planter holds wonderful beliefs that he’s willing to impose upon and attribute to the rest of his family. It’s surely not because the sign-planter thinks he’s persuading anyone of the rightness of his position, as if the neighbors reading the sign will say to themselves, “Gee, ‘Democracy dies in darkness’ is a...

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Daniel Martin, who was assigned to the case on Monday after the first judge recused himself, also rejected on Wednesday a motion by Cyber Ninjas, the Florida-based consulting firm hired by the GOP-led Arizona Senate, to keep its audit policies and procedures under seal. The judge ordered that the documents be made public by noon on Thursday, barring action by a higher court.

A Torrance family is warning others after they were left feeling like they were living out a horror movie when hundreds of birds poured into their home last week. The avian invasion began last Wednesday, April 21, and lasted a few days, according to Kerri, the woman who lives in the home with her husband and child. She asked that KTLA withhold her last name. Kerri says the family came home from dinner to find the flock swarming around inside after swooping down their chimney, practically taking a scene out of Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds.” “It’s so hard to explain....

In what may be considered an extreme example of liberal permissiveness, a recent court case petitioned the Manhattan federal court to overturn the existing law in order to permit a parent to marry his/her child. One rabbi warns that the Torah explicitly describes the inevitable outcome of such unions; the Earth will vomit out all its inhabitants in extreme natural catastrophes. Earlier this month, a New York City resident filed a claim in Manhattan federal court seeking to overturn existing laws prohibiting a parent from marrying their grown offspring, a practice referred to as incest. The petitioner requested that all...
