The Hong Kong government recently rolled out a large-scale vaccination plan against the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, commonly known as COVID-19, but it’s been mired by frequent reports of serious adverse reactions. In just one month, 13 people died in Hong Kong after being inoculated, 11 of whom had been injected with the Sinovac vaccine, a Chinese domestically made vaccine. The CCP has not reported a single case of serious side effects or death after it announced the administering of 100 million doses of the Sinovac vaccine in China on March 28.But there are four strange phenomena of the Chinese...

The experience of Venezuelans under the late President Hugo Chavez offers a cautionary tale to the United States about where packing the Supreme Court can lead. Last fall, then-presidential candidate Joe Biden refused to answer whether he would support adding justices to the Supreme Court and now has established a commission to review the proposal and other issues concerning judicial reform. One need look no further than Venezuela’s recent history for the devastating impact on liberty such a move could have. “In 2004, Chavez’s allies held a majority in Venezuela’s National Assembly (congress), passing a law that increased the number...

Authored by Jonathan Turley,We have previously discussed the controversial history of Marc Elias, including allegations that he lied about the funding of Steele Dossier by the Clinton campaign. Elias has also been criticized for challenging elections when he and other Democratic lawyers denounced Republican challenges as a threat to democracy. Now, Elias (who is heading a new group called “Democracy Docket”) is again under intense criticism after a tweet that some have called inherently racist.Democrats have used the recent Georgia election law as a rallying cry for federalizing elections by labelling the law, as described by President Biden, “Jim Crow...

Attorneys for Grace Community Church in Los Angeles filed documents in court Friday, the latest move in their continuing fight to defend their right to gather for indoor worship services. The church, which has repeatedly made headlines since its leadership decided to resume services last July in defiance of state and local health mandates, was issued an injunction last September by L.A. Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff that ordered them against holding indoor services. The injunction also required that congregants wear masks and socially distance even during outdoor services. Grace Community Church and its legal representation will be in court...

Johnson & Johnson, with the aid of President Joe Biden's administration, has been put in charge of a Baltimore vaccine production plant that ruined 15 million doses of its COVID-19 vaccine and has moved to stop British drugmaker AstraZeneca Plc from utilizing the facility to avoid any future mistakes, senior federal health officials said on Saturday. The extraordinary decision, which was first reported by The New York Times, was put into action by the US Department of Health and Human Services and will allow the Emergent BioSolutions plant to focus on making the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. Johnson...

Over one year into the coronavirus pandemic that rocked the economy and shut down in-person teaching, many students across California are still unable to receive in-person teaching. While schools in Long Beach and Orange County have reopened their schools to allow for some version of in-person instruction, many districts remain shut to students. In Oakland, an agreement to reopen classrooms early between the district and teachers unions was rescinded after teachers refused to return before the mandatory start date of April 14, despite being offered priority vaccinations and cash incentives. The refusal by Oakland teachers meant that high needs students,...

Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley has maintained a different type of apolitical nature since leaving the game. He is far from apolitical in the normal sense of the word since he speaks his mind about politics and culture regularly. But throughout his broadcasting career, he has staved off criticism over his polarizing views because they have always rung with truth. He doesn’t make Republicans or Democrats happy, but he does just enough to keep them from being too angry. His latest comments may be too far for the radical left to allow him to go unscathed. He broke their rules...

In short, boycotts are good and cancel culture is bad. This should be as clear as day to anyone, but the two have been conflated for various reasons in recent years. Let’s look at both so we can put a rest to the notion that if you’re pushing for boycotts, you’re participating in cancel culture. First, let’s look at cancel culture. Even the progressive Merriam-Webster definition is fine for these purposes. They definite it as “the practice or tendency of engaging in mass canceling as a way of expressing disapproval and exerting social pressure.” The extended definition by Demetria Slyt...

"ARISE, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is RISEN upon you. For, behold, the darkness covers the earth [Amen], and gross darkness the people [Amen and Amen]: but the Lord ARISES upon you, and his glory is seen upon you." Isaiah 60:1-2. May the Lord and his light and glory RISE upon you today and every day. Let's remember to keep our hearts, minds, and eyes on the glory and presence of the Lord aware we are surrounded by darkness but keeping our eyes and expectations on Jesus, knowing as Elisha, the forces of...

When Joe Biden unveiled his $3 trillion infrastructure bill, he told the American people that no one making less than $400,000 a year would have their taxes raised. He said, “No one making under $400,000 will see their federal taxes go up, period.”In the immortal words of Independence Day Defense Secretary Albert Nimziki, “That’s not entirely accurate.”On Friday, the president said that a two-partner family would be impacted if their combined income crosses $400,000. He also claimed that jacking up corporate and business taxes right at the beginning of the recovery from the pandemic “will not slow the economy at...

A Canadian pastor stood up to police who disrupted his service and shamed them into leaving. Nazis are not welcome here! Do not come back you Nazi psychopaths. Unbelievable sick, evil people. Intimidating people in a church during the Passover! You Gestapo, Nazi, communist fascists! Don’t you dare come back here!” “Can you imagine those psychopaths? Passover. The holiest Christian festival of the year and they’re coming to intimidate Christians during the holiest festival? Unbelievable. What is wrong with those sick psychopaths. It’s beyond me. How dare they,” he continued. The police appear completely cowed by the force of his...

You could tell that the Major League Baseball (MLB) decision to pull its All-Star game out of Atlanta was a deeply unpopular one, based on the ambivalent reaction of far-left failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. Here's the money quote from her Twitter statement:After all, isn't she the one who pushed through most of the fraud-enabling laws on the books in Georgia which triggered the recent legislative action? The blacks-are-too-dumb-to-have-voter-ID idiotic notion, so by extension, nobody should have to show voter ID to vote, even though everyone needs to show ID to buy a beer at an MLB game, or buy...

As we’ve previously documented, President Biden and members of his administration including White House press secretary Jen Psaki are straight-up lying about Georgia’s new voting law, so much so that even fact-checkers who are typically friendly to Democrats are calling them out on it. The Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) has issued its response to those demanding that they pull their Tour Championship from Georgia due to the state’s recently passed voter reform bill. And their response is, they aren’t going anywhere. In their statement, the PGA emphasized its commitment to the local businesses and charities that will benefit from the Tour Championship being played in Atlanta. “The Tour Championship’s commitment to East Lake has helped our partners transform distressed neighborhoods into healthy and thriving ones, which is a key to ending the cycle of intergenerational poverty,” the statement read. “The charitable and economic benefits...

One of Jesus’s last acts before his crucifixion was the incident we know as “the cleansing of the temple,” when he thew the money changers out of the Temple in Jerusalem for defiling God’s house. That image came inexorably to my mind when I saw the video of a Canadian pastor, through sheer force of will, sending eight COVID cops, many of them armed, out of the church. Visually, the video is simple but compelling. The church is on the second story of a building with a stairway leading directly from the front door up to the place where the...

Major League Baseball had extended and expanded its contract with a Chinese telecommunications giant shortly before boycotting the state of Georgia over the league’s disagreement with the election reforms recently enacted by the Peach State’s democratically elected governor and legislature.Chinese state media reported on April 1 that the MLB will continue to be aired on the streaming platform operated by Chinese tech giant Tencent, which has significant ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Tencent is of the Chinese companies that had temporarily dropped NBA games as a form of censorship after former Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey spoke...
