"ARISE, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is RISEN upon you. For, behold, the darkness covers the earth [Amen], and gross darkness the people [Amen and Amen]: but the Lord ARISES upon you, and his glory is seen upon you." Isaiah 60:1-2.
May the Lord and his light and glory RISE upon you today and every day. Let's remember to keep our hearts, minds, and eyes on the glory and presence of the Lord aware we are surrounded by darkness but keeping our eyes and expectations on Jesus, knowing as Elisha, the forces of darkness are themselves surrounded by the forces of light. "Do not be afraid: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them" 2 Kings 6:16. Let's be Christ conscious every day. Happy Easter.
Some notes on today's devotional...
- Do you need healing? Jesus is your Healer and makes your mind, will, emotions, and body your servant not your master.
- Unsure of what to do next? Jesus is your Light and teaches you to walk in the life and peace of the Spirit remembering his light is come as Jesus arises in and on you.
- Need a way out of a problem? Jesus is your Deliverer and sets you free from being overpowered by your own emotional reactions and from those who are against you.
- Need more from life? Jesus is your Life and gives you joy unspeakable and full of glory.
- Are you afraid of the future? Jesus is your Good Shepherd who gives you rest, peace, and confidence in the midst of darkness and confusion.
- Are you confused by the news and reports of man? Jesus is your Alpha and Omega, your Beginning and your End and He, not man, has the first and last word in all things in your life and circumstances.
God Bless you and have a wonderful Easter.

Happy Easter
Thank you, I will add the world changed drastically in three days.
He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
While I feel sorry for all those people doing the Great Fraud it’s up to them getting right with God. But they don’t believe in God so there we go.
Let's go were God tells us, not with condemnation, but by God's grace and with God's reconciliation by which he does not impute the world's sins to them (because Christ has paid the full price for the world's sins), but compels them to come to Christ, because the issue is no longer sin but Christ.
Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.2 Cor. 5:18-21.
I have a theology question here.
The Bible covers Jesus’s life up to the age of 15, then it doesn’t pick him up again till age 30. Where was he those 15 years and what was he doing? Did he Marry, did he have kids, etc., Is there an answer?
I don’t know if you’re a born-again Christian, but the Bible says Jesus knew no sin. He was sinless. That is how he was able to bear the full condemnation and judgment on the cross of all the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2).
There is no evidence of anything like what you’re talking about in the Bible. Jesus was not anointed for ministry until he was about 30 years old and baptized in the river Jordan and baptized in the Holy Spirit at the same time. The three years following is what 99% of scripture recounts about Jesus because that short three-year period is about the momentous and miraculous redemption of the world. Something as momentous as the sinless Son of God being married would have been mentioned in scripture.
What scripture does say is Jesus did not come to serve his own purposes but as a sacrifice for many. Getting married doesn’t fit into that picture or calling. When asked about marriage and its problems, Jesus said there are some who decide for themselves to become eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven’s sake. There is a strong inference that’s exactly what Jesus (and later Paul the Apostle) did.
I’d stick to what scripture says about Christ and let the world, the flesh , and the devil make up stories about what is not in scripture about Jesus.
So you don’t know either. I remember this discussion from Sunday School.
Jesus was born a Jew, and he founded Christianity, which seems logical. It helped spread the world of God to others besides the Jews, his chosen people. I wonder what the other books of the Bible not published have to say.
And no I don’t consider myself a Born Again Christian, I grew up Episcopalian, and now at 65 I am considering converting to Judaism.
My mistake it was 18 years unaccounted for.
