MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Prosecutors have charged the first Minnesotan accused of being involved in the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. The FBI says 31-year-old Jordan Stotts from Moorhead was arrested Friday by the Minneapolis branch of the FBI. Stotts immediately made his first appearance in U.S. District court in Bemidji, where he was released on a $25,000 bond with travel restrictions.

1AO – Media content is not an accidental byproduct of competition for popular attention, it’s engineered media, intended in peacetime to shape popular opinion, control purchasing behavior, regulate sexual morality. Currently MSM news and entertainment media are directed to immediate tactical necessities of nonlinear, ‘unrestricted’ or Information War (IW) . “Information Poisoning” is a form of psychological attack or “psyop” that damages our cognitive capacity over time. The primary purpose of MSM media news and entertainment content is not to amuse and inform but to influence social decision making and shape purchasing behavior. Advertising /entertainment media content suggests we buy...

I can hardly wait to see how President Biden's second 100 days in office go. So far he's ripped up Trump's successful immigration policy by the roots, stopped work on the wall and created a super-crisis on the Southern border. He and his masters in Congress are preparing to screw the rich and corporations with higher taxes on incomes and profits. And because he stupidly agreed with George Stephanopoulos on TV that Vladimir Putin is "a killer," Putin got mad and recalled Russia's ambassador. From day one, when he ordered the Keystone Pipeline to shut down, America's first figurehead-in-chief has...

Stolen elections have consequences. Biden and Harris traveled to Georgia to talk about the ongoing threats and violence against the Asian-American community in the wake of shootings at massage parlors that left several Asian women dead. Kamala Harris trashed America as a racist and xenophobic country during a speech in Georgia on Friday. Harris also took a veiled shot at Donald Trump, suggesting he spread hate about Asians. "Racism is a real in America. And it has always been. Xenophobia is real in America and always has been…The last year we’ve had people in positions of incredible power scapegoating Asian...

And not only might it be in your own living room, but it could become an excellent pathway toward taking back our beloved Republic from the insidious forces which have lurched us to the left for decades. There are compelling reasons for parents to yank their kids from the typical school, especially for those who love America and its founding values and principles: the rampant teaching that the United States is a racist and evil country and has been from its very beginnings, the precipitous decline in academic rigor and results which has increasingly plagued our schools for generations, and...

Story at-a-glance: While the casualties of government-imposed COVID-19 countermeasures are manifold, the biggest and most tragic of them all is the loss of individual freedoms. We either choose freedom, or we choose to live under authoritarian rule. Even if restrictions are lifted, public attitude can place freedom on shaky ground, as public acceptance of overreach will allow for the same to occur again and again at a moment’s notice. LeoHouse-Sojrn300x250 The freedom to interact with other human beings is a crucial, most basic human need. The inevitabilities of life — which include uncertainty, moment-to-moment risk and the surety of death...

The United States is expelling migrants to Mexico far from where they are caught crossing the border, according to Reuters witnesses, in a move that circumvents the refusal of authorities in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas who stopped accepting the return of migrant families with younger children. The practice is a sign that President Joe Biden is toughening his approach to the growing humanitarian crisis on the U.S.-Mexican border after his administration's entreaties for Central American migrants to stay home have failed to stop thousands from heading north.

So here it is Caturday and this week’s narrative was the non-stop lamenting of Asian “hate crimes” on the rise, presumably by Trump supporters (who else?). The media put an anti-Asian spin on the shootings at several Atlanta massage parlors before knowing any facts about the case and it became doctrine overnight. A pity that the facts, as usual, resulted in such a massive narrative failure. After Optimistically Slotting In the Massage Parlor Shooter As the One White Anti-Asian Thug, Media Is Disappointed to Learn He’s a Sex Addict Who Was Shooting Up the Sex Parlors Because He Blames Them For...

Six people involved with the libertarian Free Keene group are facing charges — including wire fraud and money laundering — related to an unlicensed cryptocurrency exchange that federal prosecutors said processed some $10 million since 2016. Prosecutors say the six people ran an unlicensed online exchange that let people swap dollars for Bitcoin, and collected fees for their service. The six charged are Ian Freeman (formerly Ian Bernard), 40, of Keene; Colleen Fordham, 60, of Alstead; Renee Spinella, 23, of Derry; Andrew Spinella, 35, of Derry; Nobody (formerly Richard Paul), 52, of Keene; and Aria DiMezzo, 34, of Keene, who...

Accusations of “racist” are the ultimate malediction in the Church of Woke Progressivism. Racists commit “hate crimes,” so the secular fundamentalist catechism goes, and such offenses require extra punishment. Sometimes the devil isn’t just in the details; he’s in the concept itself. So it is with the hate crimes classification. Since the 1960s, civil rights groups have supported hate crimes legislation. Some of these laws increase prison time and/or fines for assaults motivated by the perceived religious, racial, national origin or sexual identity of the victim. In other words, otherwise identical assaults differ and some victims are more victimized than...

The vice president of the San Francisco Board of Education once wrote a long Twitter thread accusing Asian Americans of using "white supremacist thinking to assimilate and 'get ahead,'" and comparing them to a "house n****r" (she added the asterisks and did not spell out the word).

Supposedly we’ll get a press conference from the figurehead atop the Harris-Biden Administration next week, and I’m wondering what the over-under line is on whether “Vice President” Harris will be standing on the podium behind him. (“Dr.” Jill on call is a given.) Immigration? Never heard of it. I’ll look forward to Biden putting his fogginess to good use on this issue.

A nurse died this Friday in Georgia due to anaphylactic shock, after being vaccinated against Covid-19 last Wednesday with AstraZeneca, which represents the first death from this cause after inoculation with this drug. Information about the death of the 27-year-old Georgian nurse, Megi Bakradze, was confirmed by the Georgian Ministry of Health through a statement. "We can say, in a preliminary way, that what happened is the result of a severe allergic reaction to the vaccination, but soon the experts will issue their official verdict," said immunologist Bidzina Kulumbegov, one of the Georgian government's medical advisers. Bakradze was vaccinated on...

In the summer of 1787, close by the steamy Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, fifty-five perspiring men, unpaid volunteers representing themselves, their families, and communities, worked in a room with the windows closed so they could speak freely. They were laboring to write a constitution for the now united, no longer rebellious colonies, that were independent states with their own stamps and virtually worthless paper money. They wanted a “more perfect union” than that which the defective Articles of Confederation had produced. They were gentlemen farmers, merchants, lawyers, some highly educated. These men could pick up a text in classical Greek...

Theme parks in California are planning to reopen as early as next month, but thrill seekers may be forced to control their excitement while riding roller coasters. The state's Attractions and Parks Association is recommending that park officials encourage riders to "mitigate the effects of shouting" on roller coasters and thrill rides to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Under the association's "responsible reopening plan" that was released in September, park officials can do so by requiring face masks and modifying the seating on rides.

Would the SCOTUS uphold such an unconstitutional order. While it hasn’t happened yet, it is obvious that the Biden administration, along with the rest of the globalists, thinks vaccinations should be mandatory despite the hesitation of many millions of Americans to submit to what is essentially an experimental vaccine, approved on an emergency basis, still unapproved by the FDA. “Emergencies' have always been the pretext on which the safeguards of individual liberty have been eroded.” (Friedrich von Hayek) Testing that would ordinarily take at least five years has been rushed even though the mortality rate of Covid is low and...

It’s just the flu, bro. So we are in year 2 of the Flubros thread and we are also in year two of two weeks to flatten the curve. The plan was to keep the thread going daily at least until year two or when Texas was free. Texas is mostly free - the exception is the schools and some churches. Also some businesses still require them (Uber). The work is not done to have total freedom but it is getting there - those who want to be seen as protecting the children will be the hardest to to get...

The People's Republic of China is an existential threat to the national security, health, and prosperity of the United States. Communist China has viewed the U.S. as its primary enemy since its founding by Mao Zedong in 1949. For Beijing, the idea of the Chinese people embracing American-style freedoms is always a threat to their rule. We are a threat to them just by being who we are. As such, we must be attacked. Over the years, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has expanded its economy and military relentlessly, intending to supplant America in world prominence. And now, with a...

Flush with success, the Democrats have built a seemingly sturdy edifice "for our own good," but it's an illusion and theirs is really a house of sand. It is just past mid-March, about ten weeks into a new U.S. Congress and eight weeks into America’s forty-sixth presidential administration. Washington is now controlled by a ruling power monopoly owned by iron-willed Democrats, who dominate both legislative houses and a bizarre head-scratcher of a presidency. In this period, Americans have witnessed a mostly peaceful demonstration on Capitol grounds declared as “violent” by pols and pundits who, contrariwise, termed last summer’s violent urban...
