Pastor Darrell Scott joined SiriusXM host Matthew Boyle on Tuesday’s edition of Breitbart News Tonight, where he discussed President Donald Trump’s work for the African-American community and his new book. “During the 2016 presidential campaign, the black community was bemoaning the condition it was in and it appealed to different candidates,” Scott said. “Even during the primaries, ‘What are you going to do for the black community, the black community needs this, and the black community needs that…'” Scott continued, “Trump filtered it into his mind and said, ‘Well listen, if it’s that bad, you just had eight years of...

Rapper and fashion mogul Kanye West has been suspended from Twitter for posting the phone number of a Forbes editor shortly after posting images to the platform of what the presidential candidate claims are pages from his recording contracts with Universal Music Group. Twitter banned the Grammy-winning billionaire from tweeting for 12 hours after West went on a tweet storm on Wednesday, which included the rapper posting the phone number of a Forbes editor, as well as him urinating on a Grammy award. “Kanye wanted me to let everyone know that his Twitter account has been locked out by the...
  • NBA Game 1 Eastern Conference Ratings Crash, League Numbers Down 45% Since 2012

The NBA’s ratings continue to plummet as the league moves through its conference finals this year. However, the crash isn’t a new thing. It’s been going on since 2012. Game 1 of the finals featuring the Heat and Celtics earned only 4 million viewers, down significantly from last year’s Bucks-Raptors game of 5.5 million viewers, Outkick reported. The ratings crash is even worse going back a few seasons. In 2018, Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cavs and Celtics saw 7.2 million viewers, making this year’s 4 million an even worse showing.

Hollywood film director Judd Apatow has claimed that President Donald Trump has “no issue” in killing Americans in order to win re-election. Apatow, known for The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Anchorman, and Talladega Nights, bashed Trump’s remarks about a vaccine for the Chinese coronavirus. Judd Apatow made the comments in response to a story from ABC News, which accused Trump of attempting to use the vaccine as a “political weapon” as part of the wider “wars on science.” “A president who admitted he downplayed the COVID-19 threat now says he actually ‘up-played’ it,” the ABC News story notes. “And he is maintaining...

President Trump said in a press conference Wednesday that the U.S. coronavirus death toll is "very low ... if you take the blue states out," while defending the nation's response to the pandemic compared to other countries around the world. Why it matters: Of the top five states with the largest death tolls from the virus, three have Democratic governors, suggesting there is little relation between the spread of the virus and the political parties of state leaders. Of note: It is unclear precisely what Trump's definition of a "blue state" is, nor did he offer specifics to back up...

Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) called the Hunter Biden-Burisma investigation was “not the legitimate role of government,” during a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee business meeting on Wednesday. Homeland Security Committee chairman Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) has defended the investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter’s dealings with Ukraine and his role on the board of energy company Burisma.

MATTHEWS, N.C. (AP/ WSPA) — Election officials in North Carolina say a mix up in sending the first absentee ballots caused some voters to receive two identical ballots for the November general election. Mecklenburg County election officials said this week that some ballots intended for voters in Matthews were mislabeled with the wrong names and were shredded before they could be sent. When officials printed new mailing labels to correct the mistake, some voters ended up getting two duplicate ballots.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., expressed optimism that progressive Democrats can “likely” push Joe Biden further to the left if he’s elected president. She noted that Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-VT, is reportedly concerned that Biden is not far left enough, an assessment she said she agrees with. "We're different people, and clearly I, in the primary, one of the reasons why I was supportive of Senator Sanders was because of how progressive his stances are, but, you know, the primaries are over, and right now what is most important is to make sure that we ensure a Democratic victory in November...
  • Arizona, a win for Trump in 2016, slides to 'lean Democrat' in Cook forecast

A new survey released Thursday by the Cook Political Report changed its forecast of Arizona in the November election from “toss up” to “lean Democrat,” indicating President Trump’s dwindling support in the state he had won by more than 3 points in the 2016 presidential election. The findings reveal a broader shift in the political leanings of Arizona. With the exception of President Clinton’s second term, the Grand Canyon state has voted Republican since 1952. The change of attitudes is largely attributed to Maricopa County, where the state’s capital is located and where about two-thirds of the voters come from,...

Nearly 20 percent of millennials and Gen Z in New York believe Jews caused the Holocaust, according to a new survey released Wednesday. The findings come from the first-ever 50-state survey on the Holocaust knowledge of American millennials and Gen Z, which was commissioned by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany. For instance, although there were more than 40,000 camps and ghettos during World War II, 58 percent of respondents in New York cannot name a single one. Additionally, 60 percent of respondents in New York do not know that 6 million Jews were killed during the Holocaust....

A 20-year-old British Columbia man faces traffic charges after Alberta Mounties received complaints about a self-driving Telsa speeding while the occupants were taking a nap. Ponoka RCMP said in a Thursday news release police received a call about a 2019 Tesla Model S travelling over 140 km/h south on Highway 2 near the town around 4 p.m. on July 9. Police said the car appeared to be self-driving with both front seats reclined all the way back and the driver and passenger were asleep. Police said when an officer turned on their emergency lights, the Tesla accelerated to 150 km/h....

The coronavirus will likely leave a permanent mark on the world’s largest asset management company, and CEO Larry Fink isn’t thrilled about it. “I don’t believe BlackRock will be ever 100 percent back in office,” the New York company’s billionaire chairman and chief executive revealed on Thursday. “I actually believe maybe 60 percent or 70 percent, and maybe that is a rotation.” Fink, made the remarks during a virtual appearance at the Morningstar Investment Conference on Thursday morning. And while he was blunt about the realities of a post-COVID workplace, he warned that having more than a quarter of his...

Alicia Garza is now behind the advocacy group Black Futures Lab, which is backed by the Chinese Progressive Association, according to the website. The group says it “gathers information about the ways that policy affects black communities” to educate and challenge lawmakers.

Pennsylvania members of the Committee to Protect Medicare said Thursday that politically-motivated attacks on Gov. Tom Wolf’s actions to control COVID-19 are a danger to their patients and all state residents. They said they are speaking out because of this week’s opinion by a federal judge which said restrictions including the state-wide state-at-home order were unconstitutional. The lawsuit was driven by Republicans who echo views similar to President Donald Trump, who pressed Wolf and other governor’s to “reopen” their states even as COVID-19 cases were rising and public health officials feared hospitals would be overwhelmed. “As physicians, we’re concerned that...

Europe is again seeing “alarming rates of transmission” of the coronavirus — a “wake-up call” to avoid quarantine “fatigue,” the region’s World Health Organization director warned Thursday. “We have a very serious situation unfolding before us,” warned Hans Kluge, the UN public health group’s regional director for Europe. “Weekly cases have now exceeded those reported when the pandemic first peaked in Europe in March,” he revealed, noting last week’s tally “exceeded 300,000 patients,” with seven countries seeing cases doubling in the previous two week

In every election, a small percentage of mail-in ballots get rejected. But this election is likely to have a whole lot of mail-in ballots. And in an election where a record number of voters are expected to cast their ballots by mail, you’re likely to hear a whole lot about ballots that don’t count, especially because voters of color have ballots rejected at a higher rate than white voters. It’s already happening. In North Carolina, absentee ballots have already been sent back and the state has been updating statistics on those ballots daily. As of September 17, Black voters’ ballots...

PITTSBURGH -- Steelers captain Maurkice Pouncey on Thursday announced his intention to make his own choice about what name to put on the back of his helmet, becoming the second player to break from the team's decision to wear the name of police shooting victim Antwon Rose Jr. on helmets for the 2020 season. "I was given limited information on the situation regarding Antwon, and I was unaware of the whole story surrounding his death and what transpired during the trial following the tragedy," Pouncey, a vocal advocate for the police communities in Pittsburgh and in his Florida hometown, wrote...

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WJAR) - A supporter of President Donald Trump from Massachusetts has implemented extreme measures to protect his yard signs after he says several of them were stolen from his lawn. While a Trump campaign sign on a lawn isn’t uncommon, one surrounded by electric wire fence is. But that’s what John Oliveria, a member of the New Bedford School Committee, has done at his home in New Bedford, Massachusetts. “It’s a shame that I have to do this,” Oliveria said. “I believe in the president. Obviously, people didn’t like that.”

The U.S. Air Force announced it has already flown a new prototype fighter. We know virtually nothing about the new plane ... other than it exists. Most observers did not expect a new fighter for another decade. The U.S. Air Force revealed this week that it has secretly designed, built, and tested a new prototype fighter jet. The fighter, about which we know virtually nothing, has already flown and “broken records.” The Air Force must now consider how it will buy the new fighter as it struggles to acquire everything from intercontinental ballistic missiles to bombers. The Air Force’s head...
