In every election, a small percentage of mail-in ballots get rejected. But this election is likely to have a whole lot of mail-in ballots. And in an election where a record number of voters are expected to cast their ballots by mail, youre likely to hear a whole lot about ballots that dont count, especially because voters of color have ballots rejected at a higher rate than white voters.
Its already happening. In North Carolina, absentee ballots have already been sent back and the state has been updating statistics on those ballots daily. As of September 17, Black voters ballots are being rejected at more than four times the rate of white voters, according to the states numbers.1 Black voters have mailed in 13,747 ballots, with 642 rejected, or 4.7 percent. White voters have cast 60,954 mail-in ballots, with 681 or 1.1 percent rejected. In addition, 434 ballots cast by white voters and 127 ballots cast by Black voters were marked spoiled, which can mean literally spoiled or something as simple as a voter informing the election office that the address they had requested a ballot to is wrong. (These are a tiny portion of the votes from one state, so obviously we have a long way to go before we know the full landscape of ballot rejection rates.)

Does the ballot have a box to check to indicate your race?
More BS to set the stage for future riots.
“Does the ballot have a box to check to indicate your race?”
No, but in NC race is specified at registration time.
Mail in voting is racist.
Vote in person .
Oh wait .....
How do they know was my first thought/
Ya, cuz each race has a different colored ballot........
Ya, cuz each race has a different colored ballot........
Is there someplace on a ballot to mark your minority status?
As if they know they are black. Right...
Here is the NC voter registration form. It ask for Race, although it is optional.

When did that change? When I lived in Raleigh-Durham from 1999 to 2007 I never saw race as part of the registration process.
I’ve been saying since 2016 that the goal of the left is to disenfranchise blacks in America however they can.
Sounds like what happens when illiterates vote.
Gee, if everybody voted in person on an old timey machine where you pull a lever, this wouldn’t be a problem.
Zip codes
Just like every other state, there are zip codes with a high number of blacks living in those areas. Moreso than other zip codes.
Race is known unless the voter left the question blank when registering to vote.
Here is the NC rejected stats by race (6.5% are unknown presumably because voter left the question blank):
Race Count Percent
Non-Hispanic White 644 46.3
Non-Hispanic Black 597 42.9
Hispanic 24 1.7
Non-Hispanic Asian American 8 0.6
Non-Hispanic Native American 26 1.9
Other/Multiple/Unknown 91 6.5
TOTAL 1,390 100.0
Mail Ballot Rejection Rates
Only those that vote for Republicans?....................
How do they know the race of the voter? The state is run by Dems so is this just another fake news story shading conservatives for the shortcomings of Dems.
Maybe they are using first names.......Latisha vs Karen.
And rejections race by party:
Party Count Percent
Democrats 915 65.8
Republicans 193 13.9
Minor 1 0.1
No Party Affiliation 281 20.2
TOTAL 1,390 100.0
