BFBC has been awarded a $569M contract modification to design and build a 17.17-mile security wall along the Customs and Border Protection's San Diego and El Centro sectors in California. The Department of Defense said Monday it estimates that the company will finish the project in June 30, 2021. USACE initially awarded BFBC a potential $141.7M contract in May 2019 to replace the El Centro and Yuma vehicle and pedestrian barrier systems. Chris Cuomo’s coronavirus-induced fever may have subsided but the CNN anchor was red hot on Monday. The longtime cable host, 49, had a mini-existential crisis on his SiriusXM show, lashing out at his lucrative primetime gig and blasting President Trump as being “full of s–t.” “I don’t want to spend my time doing things that I don’t think are valuable enough to me personally,” Cuomo said. “I don’t value indulging irrationality, hyper-partisanship.” Cuomo said his battle with COVID-19 has made him rethink his values and question his position as a public figure. “I don’t like what I do professionally,” he...

Cell phone video Bedouin Arabs on Tuesday morning attacked a Jewish farmer near the town of Rimonim, in Samaria's Binyamin Regional Council. The Jewish farmer, a resident of the town, saw the Arabs approaching and approached to ask what they needed. IDF forces arriving at the scene detained the Bedouin Arabs and took them for interrogation. ..... Honenu attorney Moshe Yado called on the authorities to arrest all of the attackers: "Our concern is that that military and the police will not actually arrest all of the Bedouin rioters, and will not stop the bullying and their violent takeover of...

Democrats and their liberal media want desperately to smear and attack President Trump for his coronavirus record. The Democrats want to rewrite history over Trump’s handling of the pandemic. As part of his unhinged press briefing at the White House Monday, President Donald Trump berated CBS correspondent Paula Reid for challenging his decision making in the early stages of the coronavirus outbreak. Reid attacked President Trump, repeatedly interrupted him. She was a TOTAL DISGRACE! President Trump rightfully called her out, “You know you’re a fake. Your whole network… The people are wise to you!” Ahead of the explosive confrontation, Trump...

Solving the mystery of “superspreaders” could help control the coronavirus pandemic. (snip) -- As the coronavirus tears through the country, scientists are asking: Are some people more infectious than others? Are there superspreaders, people who seem to just spew out virus, making them especially likely to infect others? It seems that the answer is yes. There do seem to be superspreaders, a loosely defined term for people who infect a disproportionate number of others, whether as a consequence of genetics, social habits or simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But those virus carriers at the heart...

Why are governments the world over rendering hundreds of millions of their citizens jobless, impoverishing at least a billion people, endangering the family life of millions (straining marriages, increasing child and spousal abuse, and further postponing marriage among young people), bankrupting vast numbers of business owners and workers living paycheck to paycheck, and increasing suicides? The reason given is that we must lock down virtually all human social and economic activity in order to prevent millions of people from dying of the coronavirus and overwhelming hospitals. But is it true? Was this lockdown necessary? In order to answer these questions,...

The evangelical pastor who vowed to keep preaching unless he was "in jail or the hospital" has died of COVID-19 ... only weeks after defiantly opening his church doors. Bishop Gerald Glenn showed off his jam-packed congregation back on March 22 at the New Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Richmond, VA ... telling followers to stand up and prove their numbers ... despite social distancing guidelines and warnings against large gatherings in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. His church announced that Glenn died on, of all days, Easter Sunday from COVID-19 a week after testing positive for the novel coronavirus.

The immutable truth about today’s corrupt news media is that it operates on a narrative coordinated with the Democrat Party. Reporters are not the legendary – probably imaginary – intrepid souls of black and white noir films from the 1930s and 1940s, dogged pursuers of the truth in their role as the people’s watchdog over those in power. What we call “reporters” today are actually narrative engineers, individuals corrupted by those in power who are given an overarching, politically-motivated narrative by their editors and the people who control their editors, and who go out every day to look only for...

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has rebuked President Trump's claims that he has blanket authority to order a reopening of the country. In a heated press conference inside the White House on Monday evening, Trump asserted that his office holds 'absolute power' over the shutdowns But Cuomo said later Monday that the last time he checked the US had 'a constitution...not a king'. The governor went on to accuse Trump of an 'abrogation of the Constitution', before threatening the president with a lawsuit should he put New Yorkers at risk. 'The close down was left to the governors to do...

That famous line in the old movie, “Love Story” – the one Al Gore lied and said was about him and his ex-wife Tipper – that goes, “Love means never having to say you’re sorry,” was stupid at the time and remains stupid to this day. But if you tweak it ever so slightly, you end up with a truism that everyone needs to remember: being a Democrat means never having to say you’re sorry. It’s true, being a Democrat in good standing means you can get away with damn near anything. Ted Kennedy killed a woman, sexually assaulted a...
  • Real rat-ioning! Rodents are becoming CANNIBALS as coronavirus restaurant closures leave a shortage of scraps, expert says

Rats are turning to cannibalism and warring over territories as coronavirus shutdowns create a shortage of food scraps, an expert says. Urban rodentologist Bobby Corrigan has described how the COVID-19 pandemic is sending America's rats into survival mode as stay-at-home orders prompt thousands of restaurants and other businesses to close, cutting off vital vermin food sources. Ravenous rats are now turning on each other in the fight to stay fed - engaging in cannibalism, infanticide and death matches during gruesome turf wars.

Jim Lovell should be in a large venue right now, hearing the thunderous applause of Americans thrilled to enjoy the company of the 92-year-old veteran astronaut on the 50th anniversary of the victory over tragedy that was Apollo 13. He should ideally be joined by his crewmate Fred Haise, 86, who was slated to walk on the moon with Lovell when they launched on April 11, 1970. Two-thirds of the way to the moon, their spacecraft exploded, throwing the crew, NASA and the nation into a drama not seen before or since. We have lost astronauts before. In a launch...

Cinemark is launching an offering of $250 million in senior secured notes. The theater chain said the debt securities will be used for “general corporate purposes,” which include enhancing its liquidity at a time when cinemas have been closed indefinitely due to the coronavirus. Cinemark, which is the third largest exhibitor, said the debt will be secured by a first-priority lien on its leases. The debt sale comes as the exhibition sector is in free fall. It's unclear when coronavirus will have dissipated enough for cinemas to reopen. Studios have pushed many of their upcoming releases back until later in...
