The current hysteria surrounding Attorney General William Barr's decision to intervene in the Roger Stone case and override the Draconian and wholly unjustifiable sentencing recommendation made by prosecutors on the case is hypocritical and reflects a double-standard and a misunderstanding of the Attorney General's role and authority. Based on reports from the DOJ, the prosecutors misled their superiors about the recommendation they would make. They were part of the Mueller Special Counsel team that had a partisan agenda from start to finish. They hoped to inflict the maximum punishment on Stone for his association with the president, after failing to...

Morning "God, that comforteth those that are cast down." 2 Corinthians 7:6 And who comforteth like him? Go to some poor, melancholy, distressed child of God; tell him sweet promises, and whisper in his ear choice words of comfort; he is like the deaf adder, he listens not to the voice of the charmer, charm he never so wisely. He is drinking gall and wormwood, and comfort him as you may, it will be only a note or two of mournful resignation that you will get from him; you will bring forth no psalms of praise, no hallelujahs, no joyful...

Benghazi hero Dave 'Boon' Benton unveils his 'Askari' at the Orlando International SWAT Round-Up - Benton is a unique man, a quiet man, very much a philosopher of life. He is a family man, a lover of his country and God. A man who will fight to the death if need be, but trust me, it would be no easy task to kill him, as it has been tried many times before. On weapons, tactics, combatives and overall survival skills, there are very few people I listen to more closely than Boon. TOGETHER with Alex Ferrer, the CEO and owner...

HEADLINE: Boy Scouts Files Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in the Face of Thousands of Child Abuse Allegations The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) have long been on the left’s hate list. Any organization that has the temerity to train young men in the virtues of integrity, patriotism and self-reliance is putting itself on the fighting side of liberals! At the 2000 Democratic National Convention, a little group of Boy Scouts took the stage as part of the opening ceremony -- and were promptly booed by the delegates. For decades, the BSA has fended off lawsuits demanding that they embrace the holy...

On the bright side, at least he wasn’t standing on a box. – On the down side, he was the shortest person on the stage, and the visuals were not good. But, by god, he wasn’t going to let Trump be right about that box thing, which is exactly the reaction the President wanted to get, by the way. Hilarious. Test Drive Toyota RAV4 Hybrid ¿Lo mejor de 3 mundos? Versión híbrida del SUV compacto The big, big, big winner of last night was without any doubt at all President Donald Trump. America’s farmers have faced many difficulties over the past several decades. Misaligned trade deals, troubling weather patterns, and an onslaught of attacks from anti-agriculture activists have all contributed to an unfortunately high number of struggling family farms representative of the entire agriculture industry. While these issues persist, it has become increasingly clear that America’s farmers are facing a new threat: the progressive left of American politics. From far-left Hollywood elites to out-of-touch liberal billionaires, today’s Democrat Party is pushing an anti-agriculture agenda that would spell doom for thousands of family farmers and the rural communities in which they live.During his acceptance speech...

A fake Indian, a gay guy, a old guy who had heart attack four months ago, a verbally abusive Senator, a confused former Vice President, and a super duper rich gun grabber walk into a debate auditorium… There was a debate showcasing the Democrats’ presidential wannabees last night. I watched it because I wanted to see how the candidates handled Mike Bloomberg, a new contestant in the presidential sweepstakes. Prior to the debate last night, Bloomberg had avoided public appearances in favor of buying tons of media, paying for influencers to gush over him and otherwise spending his treasure chest...

Wednesday night’s Democrat debate in Nevada allowed for a sharp focus on the candidates’ personalities. It wasn’t pretty. They were the six unappealing dwarfs -- Supercilious, Shrill, Angry, Confused, Smug . . . and that unpleasant nameless something that is Klobuchar. This was Elizabeth Warren’s debate for she aggressively dominated the available airtime. As the debate progressed, the other candidates fell silent when she spoke out of instinctive deference. With her hoarse voice and scolding manner, she was every mean old lady that children learn to fear. Given that Bloomberg was the biggest threat to the “old-timers,” Warren stood out...

There are many great money quotes. It can’t buy happiness. It can’t buy love. It’s like seawater – the more we drink the thirstier we become. It’s the root of all evil. But this week, money transformed a diminutive, unimpressive, unlikeable former mayor into an overnight star in the Democratic primary. Reports suggest Michael Bloomberg, the former Republican-turned Independent-turned Democrat billionaire former mayor of New York has already spent ten times more than his next closest Democrat rival in the race for the party’s nomination, and he’s just getting warmed up.Honestly, it’s hard to whip myself up over the trouble...

When in doubt, go back to the well. That is the default position of most politicians, as innovation and anything new is viewed as “risky.” Unfortunately, new and risky are exactly what so many of our problems require if we’re to avoid economic collapse in the coming decade. It’s much easier to kick the can down the road on something like Medicare, which is going bankrupt, or Social Security, which basically already is. Rather than do their jobs, politicians put a Band-Aid on a bullet wound and send the patient home to deal with the problem another day. When they...

Battle lines are drawn at the fancy downtown school that Anthony Weiner’s son attends, we’re told, because the school board is considering letting the convicted sex offender back onto its grounds. Page Six is told that the school has a long-standing policy of only allowing the disgraced pol — who served 16 months in prison for sexting with a 15-year-old — to go as far as its gates. But freaked-out parents had a representative reach out to tell us that former Rep. Weiner has been lobbying to be allowed onto the school grounds to collect his son, Jordan, 8, and...

After what was thought to be a simple case of the flu, 8-year-old Kinsley Sandvik died on Valentine’s Day. (Courtesy Shannon Sandvik) For one family in Calvert County, Maryland, Valentine’s Day will always be connected to heartbreak: the day when they lost their 8-year-old girl. Kinsley Sandvik had a vibrant laugh and, according to her mother, everyone was her friend. “If you met her, you fell in love with her. No one was a stranger to this child, not even the pizza man,” said mom Shannon Sandvik. “I’d say, ‘Don’t talk to strangers,’ and she’d say, ‘I’m not,’ and I’d...

The Chinese communist government increasingly poses an existential threat not just to its own 1.4 billion citizens but to the world at large. China is currently in a dangerously chaotic state. And why not, when a premodern authoritarian society leaps wildly into the brave new world of high-tech science in a single generation? The Chinese technological revolution is overseen by an Orwellian dictatorship. Predictably, the Chinese Communist Party has not developed the social, political or cultural infrastructure to ensure that its sophisticated industrial and biological research does not go rogue and become destructive to itself and to the billions of...

They’re putting the wing in right wing. Several pigeons wearing tiny Make America Great Again hats were released in Las Vegas on Tuesday, the Las Vegas Review Journal reported. A group calling itself Pigeons United To Interfere Now (P.U.T.I.N.), filmed a video of the conservative-leaning birds, which local ABC affiliate KTNV posted to YouTube. The right-wingers were released as an “aerial protest piece in response to the arrival of the 2020 Democratic debate,” the group told the Review Journal. The six-candidate debate is scheduled for Wednesday night.

If you read a publication that claims newspapers have become biased, you might assume that the source of that charge was conservative. However, it might surprise you to know that even the liberal New York Review of Books also made that claim of bias in their February 27 issue in an article by Nicholas Lemann, "Can Journalism Be Saved?" The story was a review of books about the state of newspaper journalism. Lemann was discussing a couple of books by Michael Schudson and Matthew Pressman when he made the unusual admission of flat-out newspaper bias in recent years:
