I can’t remember ever seeing this much global panic about a virus. The bird flu outbreak that we witnessed a number of years ago definitely shook people up, and the ebola scare received a lot of attention for a short period of time, but this coronavirus pandemic is already on an entirely different level. Despite the fact that there is an impeachment trial happening in Washington right now, this pandemic has dominated headlines day after day, and many experts are warning that what we have seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg. It appears that this virus...

Drag Queen Story Hours started out as niche events on the West Coast, but these events—aimed at children as young as age 3—have spread to libraries and schools across the United States, dividing local communities. These story hours are “just what they sound like,” Drag Queen Story Hour’s official website states: drag queens reading to children. The events are designed to be about 45 minutes long for children aged 3 to 8 years old, intended to capture children’s imagination and help children explore their gender fluidity through “glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models.” Books used during Drag Queen Story...

Is it really a surprise that a liberal billionaire who spent $120 million on a “Need to Impeach” campaign is touting impeachment? Fox News reported Jan. 25, that “[2020 Democratic presidential candidate] Tom Steyer weighed in on the Senate impeachment trial Friday, urging Congress to allow the American people to hear from all relevant witnesses about President Trump's actions.” Steyer told “America’s Newsroom,” “‘What I have been pushing for from the very beginning is a televised testimony from all the people who are directly involved — members of the administration in particular” [emphasis added]. Steyer continued: “[M]y goal in this...

Like Laredo City Council last week, Webb County Commissioners Court on Monday will be approached by the federal government as they attempt to fast-track construction of President Trump’s border wall... Government officials told the city that Congress’ recent $1.3 billion appropriation for the border wall has funded 52 miles of barrier in Webb County and 18 miles in Zapata County, which is essentially the span from the Colombia Solidarity Bridge to San Ygnacio. They have been granted the right of entry by about 40% of the affected landowners they have reached out to in the Laredo area, said Paul Enriquez,...

Do you love the smell of Democrat panic in the morning? Then you're sure to dig Donny Deutsch on today's Morning Joe. Poor Donny was in hyper-hysteria mode at the prospect of Bernie Sanders winning the Dem nomination. He was reacting to a new poll showing Sanders with a stunning nine-point lead in Iowa, before heading to New Hampshire where he is also strong. Bernie beat Hillary by 22% last time around in the Granite State. Deutsch repeatedly raised the specter of Sanders, with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as his most prominent surrogate, being the "faces" that can't beat President Trump. Donny...

The Left has shown that the collusion exoneration last year by the heralded Robert Mueller investigation—all 22-months, the “dream team,” and $34 million of it—meant absolutely nothing.

Nor did it matter that Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz found no justification of “collusion” in the Steele dossier to justify the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants it issued to spy on Carter Page.

Forty-three faculty members of King's University College at Western University in Ontario, Canada signed a letter demanding that the college administration "apologize for allowing this film to be shown on campus. The film's message that it is okay to oppose abortion is not fit to be aired at an institution of higher learning." The film—Unplanned—is based on the true story of Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood clinic manager who became a pro-life advocate after personally witnessing an abortion "procedure." The film's showing was sponsored by the college's Campus Ministry as part of its effort to facilitate campus life "rooted...

Prince Charles took three flights on private jets and a helicopter before meeting the activist Greta Thunberg,” reports the Daily Mail. Here we go again… The Daily Mail lays out in graphic detail all the private flights Prince Eco-Hypocrite took in just 11 days, and includes the math, which adds up to 16,000 miles, 162 tons of carbon emissions, four flights with Charles on board, five flights without him on board (flying empty to pick him up and return to base), all at a cost of 280,000 pounds, or roughly $360,000 American dollars. The Daily Mail adds that in just...

On Monday, radio and TV host Mark Levin issued a barrage of tweets regarding The New York Times article with excerpts from former national security advisor John Bolton’s new book, excerpts which prompted much hand-wringing among some GOP senators about calling new witnesses in the Senate impeachment trail targeting President Trump. Levin stomped on the Times, Bolton, and the GOP senators who seem to be considering capitulating to Democrats’ demands that witnesses be called who did not testify in the House impeachment trial. Levin began by cutting directly to the heart of the matter: If every word of this New...

Hunter Biden has agreed to pay monthly child support retroactive to November 2018, ending a standoff that began after the judge in his Arkansas paternity case ordered him to appear in person for a hearing to explain why he shouldn't be held in contempt. The court redacted the amount of child support that Biden agreed to pay, pursuant to his agreement with plaintiff Lunden Alexis Roberts. However, Independence County Circuit Court Judge Holly Meyer noted that she "lacks sufficient information" to determine the appropriate amount of child support "based off the defendant's income," and that modifications to the child support...

WASHINGTON, Jan 27 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department on Monday warned against visiting China and said Americans should not travel to the Hubei province, given that the province's city of Wuhan is ground zero for a new deadly coronavirus. The State Department has already ordered the departure of all non-emergency U.S. personnel and family members from the province and the "U.S. government has limited ability to provide emergency services" to its citizens there. It said travelers should be prepared for the Chinese government to put travel restrictions in place "with little or no advance notice."

RUSH: Do you remember the book by Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth? Remember that “bombshell book,” how that was gonna bring down the Trump administration? Remember that book? And then whatever happened…? Remember the New York Times or Washington Post (I forget which) published an op-ed from “Anonymous” that basically said, “Look, there are some adults in here, and we’re doing everything we can to make sure this guy Trump doesn’t go off and ruin things. Count on us! We can’t tell you who we are.” Well, then this person writes a book, and it was gonna be a “bombshell.” It was gonna...

Mainland authorities have put the number of confirmed cases across the country at about 2,800 as of Monday, with the death toll at 82....

A common belief among conservatives is that Democrats have blundered in their impeachment trial argumentation, that they've shot themselves in the foot. Perhaps so. But we should remember that their goal cannot, logically, be to win over the Senate so President Trump can be ousted from office before November. It would have to be that they want to win the Senate for Democrats in November.
