The impeachment trial of President Donald Trump should begin with an indictment of the media. The alleged crime committed by Trump revolves around his request that the president of Ukraine investigate Hunter Biden's shady business dealings with a corrupt Ukrainian oil and gas company when Joe Biden was vice president. That investigation might have been unnecessary had the news media chosen to do what they're supposed to do: investigative journalism. Why would Trump have to ask a foreign official for an investigation into Biden sleaze? Because when politicians have a D next to their name, the idea of the press...

FLEMINGTON, N.J. - A Hunterdon County, New Jersey woman who made national headlines after claiming PetSmart groomers killed her dog is now apologizing. In 2018, Scruffles the bulldog went viral after owner Danielle DiNapoli claimed groomers from PetSmart in Flemington left her to die. Scruffles’ story made national headlines and DiNapoli's social media campaign, "Justice For Scruffles," quickly gained thousands of followers. Online petitions signed by hundreds of thousands of people condemned PetSmart's grooming practices and grooming safety bill "Scruffles Law" made its way to the New Jersey legislature. But now DiNapoli is apologizing, writing in part on the "Justice...

SurveyUSA has a new national poll that shows Joe Biden leading with 32 percent of the vote, followed by Bernie Sanders at 21 percent, Elizabeth Warren at 14 percent and both Pete Buttigieg and Michael Bloomberg at 9 percent. As compared with SurveyUSA’s previous national poll in November, Biden is up 2 percentage points, Sanders is up 4, Warren is down 1, Buttigieg is down 2, and Bloomberg is up 6. While SurveyUSA has seemingly good news for Biden, an Ipsos national poll for Reuters does not. Instead, it has Sanders ahead nationally at 20 percent, followed by Biden at...

Boy, here’s a shocker. Not. – The ratings are up for Fox News’s 3:00 p.m. news block. Up by 37%, in fact, according to a report in today’s Daily Caller. That time slot got a new host this week in the form of Bill Hemmer, who has hosted a mid-morning program for the last several years. The 3:00 time slot had long been a sinkhole in the Fox News ratings while it had been hosted by the execrable leftwing jerkweed Shepard Smith. Yet, the news channel left him in that job for almost 15 years before he mysteriously resigned last...

Sometimes the timing of events is so auspicious that it is hard to attribute it to coincidence. The week of Jan. 26 is National School Choice week. First observed in 2011, for the 10th time, events will take place around the nation that are focused on raising awareness about parental choice in K-12 education and the options available to parents and children. A few days before National School Choice week, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in the case Espinoza v. Montana Department of Revenue, which will address the constitutionality of the so-called Blaine Amendments, arguably the greatest obstacle...

Reporters complain about business. We overlook the constant improvements in our lives made possible by greedy businesses competing for your money. Think about how our access to entertainment has improved. “When I was a kid,” says Sean Malone in a new video for the Foundation for Economic Education, “my TV broadcast options were PBS, Fox, ABC, NBC and CBS. Depending on the weather, it was hit or miss whether or not they were even watchable.” 1977 brought the first video rental store. “We literally had to rent a VCR along with two or three movies we could get on VHS...

Liberal billionaire 2020 Democratic candidate and owner of Bloomberg News Michael Bloomberg weighed in on the liberal media-driven impeachment drama. Bloomberg told MSNBC’s Craig Melvin on NBC's Today Show on Jan. 20 that he was asked if he were Senator how would he vote. He responded, “I’d have to swallow two or three times, but I would say I would vote to impeach, vote to convict because there's just so much evidence that he acted inappropriately” [emphasis added].

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) said Jan. 16 that President Donald Trump broke the law when he withheld aid from Ukraine. The union for that “independent, nonpartisan” agency naturally supports Democrats. Just don’t expect the media to tell you about it.

Hunter Biden has been ordered to show up at court in Arkansas where he'll have to show why he shouldn't be held in contempt for not turning over his financial records, according to newly filed court papers obtained by DailyMail.com. Judge Holly Meyer ordered the businessman on Tuesday to show his face in the Independence County court room next Wednesday at 9.30am, or face being held in contempt of court. Biden, 49, has been fighting against traveling to Arkansas from LA for the past few weeks, claiming he has had too short of notice to make the trip. He is...

It's nearly impossible to have even a short conversation with a college administrator, politician or chief executive without the words diversity and inclusion dropping from their lips. Diversity and inclusion appear to be the end-all and be-all of their existence. So, I thought I'd begin this discussion by first looking up the definition of diversity. According to the Oxford Dictionary, diversity is "the practice or quality of including or involving people from a range of different social and ethnic backgrounds and of different genders, sexual orientations, etc." The definition gratuitously adds, "equality and diversity should be supported for their own...

On Monday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, (D-N.Y.), sat for a discussion with author Ta-Nehisi Coates. She dropped a number of shocking statements -- statements that elicited nothing but murmurs of agreement from Coates. AOC claimed: "No one ever makes a billion dollars. You take a billion dollars." How, pray tell, are American billionaires responsible for such massive theft? According to AOC, the very mechanisms of capitalism mandate such theft. In her view, successful businesspeople simply exploit their workers while maximizing their profits. Hypothetically speaking about billionaires making widgets, she said: "You didn't make those widgets! You sat on a couch while...

It won’t be long before the noise of the impeachment proceedings grows tedious. But there were parts of the first day of action that were compelling, if only due to the change of venue. The action moved from House committee rooms to the Senate floor, buzzing with 100 percent attendance, the electricity of anticipation and the robed Chief Justice John Roberts at the helm. Before any actual arguments begin, the schedule called for a debate on the procedural roadmap the proceedings will follow. Both sides took the opportunity to wrap their arguments in generous imagery that they will be deploying...

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - James Gosnell, the magistrate who presided over Emanuel AME church shooter Dylann Roof’s bond hearing in 2015, had more than $37,000 in items stolen from his home over the weekend according to an affidavit. Brice Johnson, 22, has been charged with grand larceny and first-degree burglary. He was given a $150,000 bond on Tuesday. According to prosecutors, Gosnell had come across Johnson before back in the summer of 2019 when he gave the 22-year-old man a $5,000 bond for an unlawful firearm carry charge. In this latest incident, Gosnell told investigators that he had left for...

The elimination of firearms will not make the world a more peaceful, less violent place. Quite the contrary! Those persons who would seek to intimidate or to physically harm or kill another person (whether driven by greed, lust, jealousy, hate, zealotry or mental illness) will still do so. But the tools they employ (be they blades or sticks, hands or fists or whatever) will require a degree of physical size and strength to be wielded as weapons and a degree of physical size and strength to defend against. Until the advent of firearms, the advantage in combat always went to...

In the wake of the Virginia gun rights rally on Monday, Democrats in the Capitol are not slowing down their push for tyranny. They are moving a bill through the legislature that would effectively criminalize dissent against Governor Blackface Northam and other state government officials. House Bill 1627 was introduced by Delegate Jeffrey M. Bourne last week. The legislation “provides that certain crimes relating to threats and harassment may be prosecuted in the City of Richmond if the victim is the Governor, Governor-elect, Lieutenant Governor, Lieutenant Governor-elect, Attorney General, or Attorney General-elect, a member or employee of the General Assembly,...

She showed us one of the recent messages she had received, from a man purporting to be in Dubai. And she says she would never be tempted, despite the large amount of money involved. Rosie...
