Cities in red states such as Texas, Georgia, and Arizona are becoming increasingly deep blue as a wave of millennials and white liberals move from blue state cities, coupled with a booming foreign-born population. As the 2020 presidential election nears, red-state cities are seeing not only the impact of immigration to the U.S. — with a national foreign-born population of 44.5 million — but of domestic migration as young people and white liberals flee hard-left states like New York, Illinois, and California. Analysis by The Atlantic finds New York City, for instance, is decreasing by about 277 residents every day...

A California bank robber could get extra time in prison because social justice warriors said his mask was offensive In Santa Monica, California, a bank robber could get extra time in prison because social justice warriors said his mask was offensive. Here’s a still from the security footage which shows the mask in question: (Source)I support the maximum prison time for anyone who robs a bank. But I don’t think anyone should ever go to prison for doing something that some people consider to be offensive. In this case, the proposed extra time for the robber is because the mask that he wore was...

Oil prices dropped sharply Tuesday, following Monday's surge that sent shock waves around the world. US oil futures settled down 5.7% at $59.24 a barrel. It was the worst one-day drop for US oil since August 1, according to Refinitiv. Oil prices initially fell after Reuters reported Saudi Arabian oil production would return to normal within two to three weeks. Tuesday afternoon, Saudi Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman said the country's oil exports would not fall in September, as the kingdom will rely on reserves to keep exports stable. Investors took that as a positive sign about the impact of...

Unrecorded archaeological sites within Arizona’s Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument could be destroyed by President Trump's border wall construction, according to a newly public National Park Service report obtained by the Washington Post. The big picture: Customs and Border Patrol plans to finish construction through the Arizona International Biosphere Reserve by January, according to the report. Construction began on Aug. 29. The Trump administration told Axios in August it expects to build 450 miles of wall by the end of 2020 — but was unable to say when it would add its 1st mile of new wall to a border area without pre-existing barriers. Details: The Trump administration aims to replace...

A heckler is commonly defined as someone who “interrupts a performer or public speaker with derisive or aggressive comments or abuse.” It's been six months since the heckling stopped. Six months since the last White House press briefing. Six months devoid of noxious nonsense.

Of all the scandals in which Ilhan Omar is enmeshed, one might think the Daily Mail’s revelation this past July of her affair with political consultant Tim Mynett would be the least of them. The news last month of Beth Mynett’s divorce filing, however, has had a slightly awakening effect on a Somali community that has taken Omar at face value. Omar’s denial of the affair is a lie that is both obvious and bald-faced. She has therefore run from the tabloid newspapers and the local media as they sought to report on the scandal. The Star Tribune reported Tim...

Full title: John Hopkins Psychiatrist: ‘Gender Confusions Are Mostly Driven by Psychological and Psychosocial Problems’ Dr. Paul R. McHugh, the Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University and former psychiatrist–in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital, who has studied transgendered people for 40 years, believes that patients suffering gender dysphoria need psychological care – not gender reassignment treatment. “I think their mental problems, often depression, discouragement are the things that need treatment,” Dr. McHugh, who has argued that it is a scientific fact that “transgendered men do not become women, nor do transgendered women become men,” told The College Fix...

Weeks shy of his 95th birthday, former President Jimmy Carter said Tuesday he doesn’t believe he could have managed the most powerful office in the world at 80 years old. Carter, who earlier this year became the longest lived chief executive in American history, didn’t tie his comments to any of his fellow Democrats running for president, but two leading 2020 candidates, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, would turn 80 during their terms if elected. Biden is 76. Sanders is 78. “I hope there’s an age limit,” Carter said with a laugh as he answered audience questions at his annual...

WASHINGTON -- The Trump administration is expected on Wednesday to formally revoke California's legal authority to set tailpipe pollution rules that are stricter than federal rules, in a move designed by the White House to strike twin blows against both the liberal-leaning state that President Trump has long antagonized and the environmental legacy of President Barack Obama. The announcement that the White House will revoke one of California's signature environmental policies will come while Mr. Trump is traveling in the state, where he is scheduled to attend fund-raisers in Los Angeles and Silicon Valley. The formal revocation of California's authority...

The measured response by President @realDonaldTrump regarding the shooting down of an American drone was clearly seen by the Iranian regime as a sign of weakness.— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) September 17, 2019 -----------------------------31 minutes ago No Lindsey, it was a sign of strength that some people just don’t understand! https://t.co/EU8AvfH7j9— Donald J. EXCLUSIVE: The Republican National Committee (RNC) is expected to announce this week that it raised a record-setting $23.5 million in August and had $53.8 million cash on hand as of the end of that month -- signaling growing GOP momentum heading into the 2020 elections. It isn't unusual for a committee to perform well when its party controls the White House. But, even accounting for that advantage, the RNC's numbers were significant: the August fundraising total was the highest recorded in August during an off-cycle year by either the RNC or DNC, and the RNC has not had as much...

"I THINK THAT THIS FAKE RUSSIA COLLUSION NARRATIVE IS THE GREATEST CRIME COMMITTED AGAINST THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IN OUR GENERATION IF NOT EVER. THIS IS A PRESIDENT WHO WAS DULY ELECTED BY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND MEMBERS OF CERTAIN BODIES REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE ELECTION RESULTS. IF THIS WERE DONE BY A DIFFERENT PRESIDENT TO A DIFFERENT PARTY THE SAME WAY IT WAS DONE TO DONALD TRUMP, THAT PERSON WOULD ALREADY BE THROWN OUT OF OFFICE AND PEOPLE WOULD BE IN JAIL. BUT WHEN YOU SUPPORT HILLARY CLINTON AND BARACK OBAMA ITS A DIFFERENT SET OF RULES. I THINK THE...

The following article is sponsored by Capital Research Center. An organization that leads the protest movement against President Trump’s judicial nominees and presents itself as grassroots is really the project of Arabella Advisors, a largely unknown, massively funded strategy company pushing the interests of wealthy leftist donors. These and other revelations were documented in an extensive exposé by conservative watchdog Capital Research Center, which traced Arabella’s vast network and unmasked a shadowy system of pop-up groups designed to look like grassroots activist organizations developed by, housed in, and staffed by the for-profit, privately held Arabella Advisors. As previously reported here,...

Facebook on Tuesday released its plans for the new board previously likened to a “Supreme Court†that can overturn the company’s own content moderation decisions. The new “Oversight Board†will govern appeals from Facebook users and questions from the company itself. The board will eventually consist of 40 members with three-year terms drawn from a diverse array of backgrounds, according to Facebook. Panels of five members will deliberate on cases it chooses to take. A minimum of 11 members will be required for the board to function. Facebook said in a press release it plans to have the board in place...

Sadiq Khan’s former policing adviser yesterday defected to the Liberal Democrats, saying his children were “not safe” on London’s streets because of knife crime. In a shock switch, Leroy Logan, a former police superintendent, said that he was quitting the Labour Party over the London Mayor’s record. He will now become policing adviser to the Lib Dem mayoral candidate Siobhán Benita, who has unveiled a five-point plan to tackle knife crime. Mr. Logan had been planning to stand as a Labour member of the London Assembly. He was an adviser to Mr. Khan during his 2016 mayoral campaign and drafted...

By now, we all know that Walmart has decided to stop selling certain types of ammunition because some people think it’s more scary than other kinds, which they will continue to sell… and many folks hail this as a victory of sorts for “Main Street America,” i.e. the small independent gun shops that will benefit from increased business as shooters buy ammo from them instead of Walmart. Meanwhile, a shooting range in Texas has started to sell ammo by the pound and trolled Walmart about it. Alpine Shooting Range decided to sell ammo from dispensers and charge by the pound....

Interview with Father Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of the Society of Saint Pius X Rev. Fr. Superior General, a number of important events will take place before the end of the year, such as the Synod for the Amazon and the reform of the Roman Curia. They will have a historical impact on the life of the Church. In your opinion, what place do they occupy in Pope Francis's pontificate? The impression that many Catholics are currently experiencing is that of a Church on the brink of a new disaster. If we step back a moment, the Second Vatican Council...

The prime minister has told the BBC that he will follow the law, but will leave the EU at the end of October. “I will uphold the constitution, I will obey the law, but we will come out on October the 31st” he told the BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg. A bill was passed by Parliament in early September to prevent the UK from leaving the European Union without a deal.
