After just 13 episodes, MSNBC has pulled the plug on “Saturday Night Politics,” a show hosted by Donny Deutsch, a staunch critic of President Trump. The show never caught on with viewers, finishing far behind Fox News’ “Watters World” with Jesse Watters, according to The Hill. It’s far from the first cancellation for Deutsch, whose CNBC show “The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch,” was scrapped in 2008. His other shows were trashed in 2010, 2013 and 2015, according to TV Newser.

California’s governor is expected to sign into law a bill that critics say would make it difficult, if not impossible, for trucking companies in the state to use independent contractor owner-operator truck drivers. If signed into law, Assembly Bill 5 “will put tens of thousands of owner-operator truckers, who service agriculture, retail and other industry sectors, out of business," said the California Trucking Association in a press release. Uber Technologies plans to hire 2,000 employees over the next three years who will help grow the headquarters for Uber Freight in The Old Post Office.
