In a major victory for both President Trump and national Republicans, North Carolina GOP state Sen. Dan Bishop was projected to win a fiercely contested special U.S. House election for the 9th District that was widely seen as a bellwether for the president's chances in the 2020 election. And another Republican House candidate, Greg Murphy, decisively won a separate special election in North Carolina's more solidly GOP-leaning 3rd District earlier Tuesday evening -- frustrating Democrats who spent millions trying to make a splash in the state. Even Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Chairwoman Cheri Bustos acknowledged that the president contributed...

The woman who questioned Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders about the “need to curb population growth” has been teaching young children in schools since 2001. Attendee Martha Readyoff asked Sanders whether he would support measures to curb population growth at a CNN Climate town hall on September 4. “Human population growth has more than doubled in the past 50 years. The planet cannot sustain this growth,” Readyoff said to Sanders. “I realize this is a poisonous topic for politicians but it’s crucial to face. Empowering women and educating everyone on the need to curb population growth seems a reasonable campaign...

FULL TITLE: Planned Parenthood Harvested Organs of Babies Born Alive After Abortion, Court May Hide That Evidence Undercover journalist David Daleiden and his lawyers are juggling two separate cases this week that attack him for exposing Planned Parenthood’s aborted baby body parts trade. One is a criminal trial that began with former pro-abortion California Attorney General Kamala Harris. A preliminary hearing in the case began last week with a witness for the abortion industry admitting that the undercover videos were “not altered.” The second, a civil lawsuit filed by Planned Parenthood, moved forward with a pre-trial conference Monday with U.S....

It was a partnership Planned Parenthood’s former president once bragged she was “proud” of. “Proud,” apparently, of cutting into tiny baby bodies when their hearts are still beating. “Proud,” it turns out, of putting women through riskier abortion procedures to get better, more valuable baby organs. And “proud,” most of all, that her medical directors were negotiating higher prices for the little livers, limbs, and brains her business was harvesting. Four years later, pride is the last thing anyone felt at the courtroom where the gory details of Planned Parenthood’s baby butcher ring came tumbling out. While the country’s abortion...

Two Planned Parenthood clinics in Cincinnati, Ohio, are closing as a result of surmounting pressure from various regulations on abortion providers and reproductive health care, officials from the organization said. This announcement comes less than a month after Planned Parenthood announced that they would be dropping out of the federal program called Title X over new gag restrictions put in place by the Trump administration. The new rules prohibited participating clinics from providing abortion referrals and dictates a "clear financial and physical separation" between family planning services and abortion services. The two Cincinnati locations that will be closing are in...

A European abortion activist who has been selling dangerous abortion drugs over the internet sued the Food and Drug Administration Monday for trying to shut down her work. Rebecca Gomperts, the founder of Aid Access, Women on Web and Women on Waves, pro-abortion groups that provide abortions, often illegally, in various countries across the world, is behind the lawsuit. In March, the FDA accused Gomperts of violating the law and putting women at “significant health risks.” It sent her a warning letter telling her to immediately stop selling the abortion drugs. The abortion drugs have been linked to at least 24...

A late-term abortion facility in Ohio is trying desperately to remain open after it failed to meet a state health regulation that ensures patients with emergency complications receive proper care. Back in 2016, the Ohio Department of Health revoked the license of the Women’s Med Center in Kettering, near Dayton, for failing to have a written transfer agreement with a hospital for patient emergency situations. However, the abortion facility challenged the action in court and has been allowed to operate without a license since then. The abortion facility advertised abortions up to 22 weeks, though the watchdog group Operation Rescue...

Sen. Cruz said during the debate that the Grassley-Cruz legislation would have helped prevent the mass shooting in Odessa, Texas. Milano then quoted former President Ronald Reagan, suggesting that Republicans have supported gun control the past. Reagan said: I do not believe in taking away the right of the citizen to own guns for sporting, for hunting, and so forth, or for home defense. But I do believe that an AK-47, a machine gun, is not a sporting weapon or needed for the defense of the home. Cruz fact checked Milano’s use of the Reagan quote, saying “Machine guns are...

Registered nurse Jill Stanek testified before a House committee that she cared for an infant with Down syndrome who had survived an abortion and was left to die in the hospital’s “soiled utility room.” In her prepared testimony on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, Stanek, who now serves as national campaign chair at the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List, described an incident 20 years ago when she worked at Christ Hospital in Illinois. Stanek said she became aware Christ Hospital “committed abortions into the second and third trimesters,” a procedure known as induced labor abortion, which sometimes resulted in...

Next week, Democrats in Congress will have a golden opportunity to take a strong and principled stand against President Trump’s dangerous moves to resurrect the nuclear arms race. So far, Trump has set a treacherous course for U.S. nuclear policy. He is tearing down arms control treaties that were carefully constructed over decades with bipartisan support. He is building new weapons at tremendous cost that will increase nuclear threats to the world. He has impulsively threatened nations (North Korea) with nuclear attack and has pushed others (Iran) to resume nuclear activities that they had ended. Trump has been in office...

Former GOP Rep. Joe Walsh, the radio show host challenging President Donald Trump, was once heavily critical of his main political backer, Bill Kristol, calling the neoconservative pundit “irrelevant,” and an “out of touch establishment twit.” “It’s time to retire, my friend,” Walsh said on March 31, 2017.

There is a widening differential between the America as described by the national, left-wing media and the America in the world in which most of us live. And a commensurate gap between President Trump's historic accomplishments and the caricature of the president drawn by both the leftist media and the radical Dems who so viciously attack Mr. Trump in the mad, continuing obsession to not only to block his agenda, to slow his achievements, to somehow, no matter how vicious or craven the means, prevent his reelection in 2020. The president, at this critical moment, has successfully maneuvered the Chinese...

An investigation from privacy advocacy group Privacy International found that period-tracking apps downloaded by millions of users shared alarmingly sensitive data with Facebook and other third-parties, including users' drinking habits, medical symptoms, and when they last had sex. Privacy International's report identified five apps which shared data with Facebook. It focused on two apps in particular — Maya and MIA Fem — which the report said were sharing alarming amounts of detail. Maya has over five million downloads on the Google Play Store, while MIA Fem has one million. Both apps had Facebook's Software Development Kit (SDK). SDK lets apps...
