Former President Obama and the former first lady have reportedly made a bid of approximately $15 million on a home in Martha’s Vineyard. The 7,000 square-foot house comes with 29 acres and would likely be a summer home. The family is known to have spent quite a bit of time on the island over past summers. Unlike President Trump, who earned his money before taking office, the Obamas have benefited handsomely from their time in the White House. President Obama only earned the standard $400,000 salary when he was in office, but after leaving, he and his wife Michelle acquired...

lhan Omar with her father and sister. (PowerLine) According to Steinberg there is credible evidence that Ilhan Omar and her family changed their name to illegally enter the United States back in 1995. And since that time Ilhan Omar as an adult continued to defy US law. According to Steinberg Rep. Omar committed at least eight instances of perjury going back to 2009. The charges could carry up to 40 years of prison time or deportation. Obviously, Ilhan Omar has no regard for US law and yet here she is representing Minnesota in the US Congress and a sitting member...

President Donald J. Trump called his relationship with France’s President Emmanuel Macron a “special relationship” recently at the G-7 summit in France, yet the traditional “special relationship has always been understood as between the U.S. and the U.K. developed during WWII. There seems to be a new opportunity for a special relationship between the U.S. and South America’s emerging beacon of free markets and liberty – Brazil. The election of Jair Bolsonaro in October 2018 to be President of South America’s biggest and most populous nation was a big victory for better trade and military ties with the United States....

Normally, it’s a sitting president who urges the nation to “stay the course.” Voters prefer stability, so incumbents normally use it as a selling point while seeking reelection. But these are not normal times. In this campaign, the man in the Oval Office is selling transformation while his leading Democratic opponent is promising a return to the calmer days of “no-drama Obama.” It’s a political oddity. Although Trump’s slogan, “Promises Made, Promises Kept,” seems to stress continuity, he is really promising something quite different: to keep rolling back the Administrative State, recalibrating American foreign policy, and shaking up Washington. He...

“I want to be clear, I'm not going nuts” - Joe BidenHe’s probably right. A strong case can be made that he’s been that way for years. Is this something a sane man would do? Unless he has a death wish?I’m quite ambivalent about which one of the old white milk jugs the Big Tent party chooses to run against our VSGPDJT. Any of them will provide entertainment. But Joey quite possibly more than the others. Because he’s not going nuts, Well, maybe a little…He’s already there.Yay! I won!!!!Fruits, Hops and Nuts: the symbol of the New Socialist Democratic Party. How...

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Boy, here’s a shocker, huh? – Footage from a camera stationed outside the cell in which pedophile and longtime pal of the Clintons Jeffrey Epstein mysteriously died a few weeks ago has been deemed as “unusable” by federal investigators. Oh, golly, how surprising that is. Ok, it’s not surprising at all, is it? Seriously, this is like a bad episode of Jake and the Fat Man at this point. Was there anybody with a functioning brain still out there who did not fully expect to read this report at some point soon?...

Morning "How long will it be ere they believe me?" Numbers 14:11 Strive with all diligence to keep out that monster unbelief. It so dishonours Christ, that he will withdraw his visible presence if we insult him by indulging it. It is true it is a weed, the seeds of which we can never entirely extract from the soil, but we must aim at its root with zeal and perseverance. Among hateful things it is the most to be abhorred. Its injurious nature is so venomous that he that exerciseth it and he upon whom it is exercised are both...

Semiautomatic rifles have their place. In the proper hands, with quality ammo and parts, they can shoot a lot of rounds a long way. There is also a place for bolt guns, but the relatively slow rate of fire demands that they be employed with some stand-off. At distance, even a Lee-Enfield or Mosin-Nagant could be effective. My vote for home protection? The all-American choice is the Remington 870. The pump shotgun is incredibly simple. The controls? A safety button and a pump. Work the pump and shoot. Got a jam? Work the pump and shoot. Repeat as necessary and...

Jeff “Mother” Zucker, head of CNN, showed his fearless leadership style by hiring deep-state flameout Andrew McCabe. But the move also cast him in a new role as heir to the infamous Captain Motoharu Okamura of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Zucker once proudly proclaimed: “I think it’s the sign of a leader to step up and say, you know, when something’s not working to have the guts to reverse it . . . The worst thing you can do is to let that mistake linger.” The Pillsbury Doughboy of cable news had to be channeling Captain Okamura, who, in an...

MOSCOW, Aug 27 (Reuters) - A unit of Russian conglomerate Rostec said on Tuesday it was ready for an out-of-court settlement with Boeing over its order for 35 Boeing 737 MAX jets, a spokesman for Rostec's subsidiary Avia Capital Service told Reuters. Boeing MAX 737 jets have been grounded worldwide and airlines are cancelling multimillion contracts following crashes in October and March that killed 346 people. Earlier on Tuesday, Rostec said its unit had filed a lawsuit in the United States to cancel its order for the 35 MAX jets. The Financial Times, which first reported the move, said Avia...

At least one camera in the hallway outside the cell where authorities say registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein hanged himself earlier this month had footage that is unusable, although other, clearer footage was captured in the area, according to three people briefed on the evidence gathered earlier this month. It was not immediately clear why some video footage outside Epstein's cell is too flawed for investigators to use or what is visible in the other, usable footage. The incident is being investigated by the FBI and the Justice Department's inspector general's office, which are attempting to determine what happened and...

WAUPACA, Wisconsin -- In another lifetime, the Park Motel and Supper Club sat along U.S. Route 10 and enjoyed both local patrons and famished travelers looking for a good homemade meal and a place to rest on this highway connecting Bay City, Michigan, to Fargo, North Dakota (including a 62-mile ferry ride across Lake Michigan). Over the years, the motel housed the sequestered jurists for the trial of Jennifer Patri, the woman who claimed that horrendous abuse at the hands of her husband led her to shoot him with a rifle, bury his body in the basement of the farmhouse...

Singers and actors including Madonna and Jaden Smith shared photos on social media that were seen by tens of millions of people... And yet the photos weren’t actually of the fires and many weren’t even of the Amazon. The photo Ronaldo shared was taken in southern Brazil, far from the Amazon, in 2013. The photo that DiCaprio and Macron shared is over 20 years old. The photo Madonna and Smith shared is over 30. Some celebrities shared photos from Montana, India, and Sweden. The Amazon produces a lot of oxygen but it uses the same amount of oxygen through respiration...

Planned Parenthood is harnessing star power in a new effort to advertise abortion. But with its straw-man messaging, Planned Parenthood and its celebrity PR team are only preaching to their choir. They’re not converting anyone. On August 26, Planned Parenthood announced that it had collected the signatures of nearly 140 musicians as part of its latest campaign for abortion called “Bans Off My Body.” To boast about its supporters, the nation’s largest abortion provider purchased an ad listing the artists – from Lady Gaga to Ariana Grande – in Billboard magazine. Planned Parenthood began its campaign in June in response...
