Greenland is not for sale and U.S. President Donald Trump’s idea of buying the semi-autonomous Danish territory in the Arctic from Denmark is “an absurd discussion,” Denmark’s prime minister said. Mette Frederiksen, who was visiting the world’s largest island to meet Premier Kim Kielsen, told reporters: “Greenland is not Danish. Greenland is Greenlandic. I persistently hope that this is not something that is seriously meant.” Frederiksen said Sunday that the Arctic, with resources that Russia and others could exploit for commercial gain, “is becoming increasingly important to the entire world community.”

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) As you watch the Democrats and their fake news media toadies attempt to convince Americans we are in a recession when the economy is in fact booming, remember they have done this all before. – This is just page 284 or something from the Democrat/media playbook, and as George H.W. Bush found out the hard way in 1991-2, the effort has succeeded before. Not that Poppy Bush deserved to be re-elected in 1992 after reneging on his “read my lips, no new taxes” promise to the voters, but the main reason why...

“‘They put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved’” (Matthew 9:17b). Like new wine poured into fresh wineskins, everything stays spiritually fresh for the true believer. First, he or she leads a life of unquestioning obedience and follows the Lord without conditions or excuses. Not long before His ascension, Jesus told Peter, “‘Follow Me!’ Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them . . . So Peter seeing him said to Jesus, ‘Lord, and what about this man?’ Jesus said to him, ‘If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to...

Should the Netanyahu government have barred "Squad" members and BDS advocates Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib from entering the country? Chattering classes in both countries quickly took sides. Surprising is how quickly major American Jewish organizations—those one would most expect to defend Israel—jumped to condemn its decision, arguing that it should have rolled out the red carpet for the two congresswomen. While their argument is that keeping the women out harms the Jewish State, it is their position that damages Israel and strengthens its enemies. "A good-faith visit to Israel is the best way to be exposed to its democracy,...

A couple of men on the far-right held an “End Domestic Terrorism” rally in Portland, Oregon on Saturday. As expected, the violent left-wing group Antifa showed up to counter protest. Ironically, the protest was about stopping their violent counter protests. Dressed in black, some wearing masks, Antifa struck at the windows of buses carrying people on the right, sprayed pepper spray at them and tried to drag them out of the bus using a hammer. They broke a window on one of the buses. At one point, they chased a man and a young girl dressed in flag clothing who had become...

All Americans should take some comfort from the revelations of the scheme by top officials across the Obama administration to subvert the 2016 election. It has a very important silver lining. Donald Trump’s improbable election turned a klieg light on the termite-infested foundation of our Republic. Some of those vermin are mighty big.The exposure of the Clinton Campaign/Fusion GPS/John Brennan/James Comey/DOJ/FBI/State Department cabal to undermine the will of the American people in the 2016 election exposed the vast corruption at the highest levels of our kleptocratic establishmentarian government. In fact, I think a conservative case could be made that the most...

President Trump said he is “certain” that he will receive an endorsement from The New York Times in 2020 for the presidential election, he said in a tweet Sunday night. His tweet appeared to be tongue in cheek. “The New York Times will be out of business soon after I leave office, hopefully in 6 years,” Trump tweeted after returning to the White House from a vacation at his golf club in Bedminster, N.J. “They have Zero credibility and are losing a fortune, even now, especially after their massive unfunded liability. I’m fairly certain they’ll endorse me just to keep...

1812 Captain Isaac Hull’s USS Constitution engages HMS Guerriere about 400 mile S.E. of Halifax Nova Scotia. Over the course of the battle, Captain Hull’s ship handling and the heavier broadside weight of Constitution’s guns take their toll on the British warship. Guerriere loses her fore, main, & mizzen masts, and her hull is badly damaged, leaving her in sinking condition. Captain Dacres surrenders his badly damage Guerriere to Captain Hull. Hoping to make her a prize, Hull puts a prize crew on Guerriere. They soon realized the ship could not be salvaged and return to Consitution. Hull takes the...

Senators Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island, Mazie Hirono of Hawaii, Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, Richard Durbin of Illinois and Kirsten Gillibrand of New York have filed an amicus curiae brief to have the Supreme Court dismiss the case of New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc., v. City of New York. The brief is an amazing example of chutzpah and comes very close to being a direct threat to the Court. A little history is in order. It has been Progressives that have blatantly politicized the Court for most of a century. It was Progressives that claimed the...

A sea of umbrellas swarmed Hong Kong streets on Aug. 18 as Hongkongers organized mass protests for the 11th consecutive week. What began as opposition to an extradition bill that would allow the Chinese regime to transfer individuals to face trial in mainland China has since expanded to include broader demands for police accountability and open democratic elections. Despite the pouring rain, scores of Hongkongers filled Victoria Park for a rally condemning police violence during previous demonstrations. The overwhelming turnout brought traffic in the dense city center to a standstill.

There aren’t a whole lot of Republicans in Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Queens and Bronx district, but the few there are all seem to want to run against the firebrand progressive congresswoman. Seven Republicans have already filed with the Federal Election Commission to run for the seat next year, and at least one more is publicly considering a run. Any Republican nominee will face distinctly long odds to unseat one of the highest profile members of Congress in an overwhelmingly Democratic district, but that has not stopped would-be challengers from lining up for the chance to take her on. And whoever...
