HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - More than 20 miners and their families camped out on the train tracks near Cumberland Monday night to make sure none of the coal loaded on the trains coming from the mine in Cloverlick was able to get in or out. Blackjewel miners are confused and frustrated as they try to find out why a train is carrying coal away from a mine in Harlan County. Some chose to take it into their own hands by standing on the tracks to keep the train from leaving. Miners have one clear message: Pay them for what...

The border between US and Mexico becomes a playground for North American and Mexican families as they take turns on a seesaw called 'Sube y Baja (go up and go down),' in a form of protest against President Donald Trump's border wall.

Here is an excerpt from an email from a misinformed white millennial: Mr Marcus, as a black man, if you don't agree in part with Mr. Kaepernick, I feel bad for you. I am white, and feel that the issues facing the black community in the US from the police, legal elements, property, education are skewed, and need to be rectified. I am concerned that someone with your pulpit isn't out there helping out. I usually receive emails from progressives who call me an Uncle Tom stupid n***** for loving my country and not viewing myself as a victim....

Think of the X-37B as the Space Shuttle’s smaller, younger brother and you wouldn’t be wrong. With its bullet-like shape, stubby wings, and two tone black and white appearance, the X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle looks like a smaller, cuter version of the manned orbiter that served NASA for decades. That’s where the comparison ends though: property of the U.S. Air Force, the secretive, unmanned X-37B is built to spend months in orbit, carrying out classified missions on behalf of America’s military space program.

Nationalism and Idealism at the Border What is America? July 30, 2019 Daniel Greenfield 15 Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism. The Border Patrol is to the millennial lefty what the Marines in Vietnam were to his grandpa. The problem with both is not that they wear uniforms and carry guns. A heavily armed force dedicated to policing carbon emissions, hate speech, and non-biodegradable straws would be entirely copacetic. The trouble is that the Border Patrol and the Marine Corps are...

Critics and skeptics of President Trump were not very well going to listen to him when he warned about the perilous state the city of Baltimore was in, but perhaps they'll listen to actual Baltimore police officers. Robert Mueller’s less-than-stellar performance last week before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees seems to have left just about everybody trying to explain it. Descriptions on both the left and the right sides of the aisle included words like “ineffective,” “confused,” “struggling,” and “frail.”A consensus soon formed perhaps best summarized by a tweet from radio talk-show personality Mark Levin:“As I said when Mueller gave [his] speech in May, he is feeble. I say that not as a personal attack but as a rational observation. It's on display today during this hearing. This underscores that the person who influenced this investigation...

Israeli warplanes bombed Iranian-linked targets in Iraq and Syria in July, the Arabic-language Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported Tuesday, quoting Western diplomatic sources. The sources told the London-based newspaper that on July 19, Israel carried out an attack on the base of an Iran-linked paramilitary group in the northern Salahuddin province of Iraq. Reports initially said that the attack was carried out by a drone and and led to the deaths of an unconfirmed number of Iranian Revolutionary Guard fighters. According to the Saudi news channel Al-Arabiya, the base housed Iranian-made ballistic missiles hidden in food refrigeration trucks. Israeli officials, including...

Around the second floor, the elevator suddenly dropped a foot or two and stopped. Debris crashed against the roof and it sounded like the elevator was “caving in,” Bird said. “It went down seemingly fine,” said Bird, 37. Then the elevator "felt like it dropped suddenly about a foot or so.” After several calls to building security and finally police, fire crews pried open the elevator’s door and helped the people get out through a 4-foot gap. Neither appeared to be as dramatic as one in November, when a cable on an express elevator broke and it dropped about nine...

GOP Sen. Rand Paul offered to buy Rep. Ilhan Omar a ticket to Somalia so she could learn to “appreciate America more.” “While I’m not saying we forcibly send her anywhere, I’m willing to contribute to buy her a ticket to go visit Somalia, and I think she could look and maybe learn a little bit about the disaster that is Somalia – that has no capitalism, has no God-given rights guaranteed in a constitution, and has about seven different tribes that have been fighting each other for the last 40 years,” the Kentucky Republican told Breitbart in an interview...

Baltimore’s rat problem is so bad that it is causing roads in the city to collapse, proving President Trump right when he said the city was a “rodent infested mess.” After being labeled “racist” for calling Elijah Cummings’ Baltimore district a “rat and rodent infested mess,” Trump doubled down earlier today by drawing attention to the city’s crime problem. “Baltimore, under the leadership of Elijah Cummings, has the worst Crime Statistics in the Nation. 25 years of all talk, no action! So tired of listening to the same old Bull…Next, Reverend Al will show up to complain & protest. Nothing...

The Commandant’s Planning Guidance (CPG) provides the 38th Commandant’s strategic direction for the Marine Corps and mirrors the function of the Secretary of Defense’s Defense Planning Guidance (DPG). It serves as the authoritative document for Service-level planning and provides a common direction to the Marine Corps Total Force. It also serves as a road map describing where the Marine Corps is going and why; what the Marine Corps force development priorities are and are not; and, in some instances, how and when prescribed actions will be implemented. This CPG serves as my Commandant’s Intent for the next four years. ......

The gaying of America’s “national pastime” is nearly complete. This year, every single Major League Baseball (MLB) team will have hosted a “Pride Night” except for the Houston Astros and Texas Rangers, although both of those teams have held homosexual “pride” events previously. Teams routinely post pictures of these events on social media, treating “pride” as just another theme night, yet they simultaneously wrap these events in a mantle of social justice, hyping their promotion of “diversity” and “inclusion.” My hometown team, the Washington Nationals (Nats), boasts the longest running “Pride Night” of all major league teams. “On the scoreboard...

The rat infestation is so bad at one New York City Housing Authority complex that residents feel they are "hostages in our own home at night." The Washington Houses Tenant Association's executive board sent a letter to NYCHA about the problem before Winter of 2018. It noted that "rats start to come out at 6 p.m. like clockwork." The rats are still a problem now, according to Tenant Association President Claudia Perez. "I have more rats than I do residents," she said

Freedom is only but a lifelong dream to many in other countries, but here in the U.S., our citizens have the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. Two American immigrant women, Ilhan Omar and Brigitte Gabriel, both found this to be true when they immigrated from war-torn countries to ultimately find themselves in the land of the free and home of the brave. While their childhood experiences in their home countries draw some parallels, their views on the country that provided them the ultimate opportunity could not be more different. Ilhan Omar found asylum in the United...

The latest chant by the left that President Donald Trump is a “Racist! Racist!” is because he tweeted that Rep. Elijah Cummings’ district in Baltimore is “a disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess.” Trump chose Cummings as a target after months of feigned moral outrage by Cummings and the collectivist left that conditions at ICE detention centers are deplorable and just like concentration camps. The legacy media accepts as fact that Trump is a racist and expects us to believe as well, that it is racist to criticize any Democrat who happens to be black. That rule never applies to black...
