As the project information details, 70 total subjects will participate in the study. Half of these women will be taking marijuana at least twice a week to combat morning sickness, while the other 35 will take...

The U.S. Supreme Court said on Monday it will take up cases over whether the federal government must pay billions of dollars to health insurers that sold coverage on the Affordable Care Act exchanges. The Supreme Court will consider whether the government had an obligation to pay private health insurers under the so-called "risk corridor" program that was meant to offset insurer losses in the early years of the ACA exchanges. That three-year program has ended, but health insurers argue the HHS owes them more than $12 billion in unpaid funds. The Supreme Court will hear three consolidated cases during...

They left the Oval Office and dove head first into the private sector – and the entertainment industry. Barack and Michelle Obama, who have created their own production company and are in the midst of developing a slate of content for Netflix, were spotted vacationing on Italy's Lake Como last week. Yes, the Lake Como near where George Clooney has a home. The Obamas and the Clooneys were spotted hanging around the Northern Italian resort town on Sunday, June 23

When Joe Biden made his recent comments regarding working with segregationist Democrats decades ago, the backlash from his 2020 rivals was expected. As the current frontrunner by a wide margin, his primary opponents are desperately hoping to find something that will knock him down and give them a chance to emerge from their single-digit polling. But, what no one seems to be talking about is the hypocrisy of the Democrat outrage over Biden’s comments. It would be nice to think that Democrats, who were the party of segregation fifty years ago, have learned the evils of separating people by race,...

Former Vice President Joe Biden has fallen out of the lead in New Hampshire’s Democratic presidential primary in the wake of a series of campaign missteps, losing his lead in the Granite State ahead of the first debates to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), while Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) continues surging right behind both of them.

Ahead of the first debate for 2020 Democrat presidential primary contenders, the leading Democrats among the pack of 24 candidates all effectively share the same views on immigration as they demand amnesty for all illegal aliens and more legal immigration to the U.S. to satisfy the needs of big business. From slogans like “Diversity is our strength” to claims that the U.S. is a “nation of immigrants,” the top three Democrat candidates largely agree on wanting to expand rights to all illegal aliens, driving more legal immigration to the country beyond the current annual total of about 1.2 million, and...

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (2 Thessalonians 2:4-5)This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers,...

They really counted on Hillary winning, didn’t they? Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper is in panic mode, realizing that the so-called “intelligence community” he supervised under President Obama is about to be revealed by Atty. Gen. William Barr and U.S. Atty. John Durham as a weaponized arm of the Clinton campaign, with indictments to follow. The man who lied to Congress about spying on the American people was shocked back in April to hear Barr testify before Congress that, yes, he thought that the Trump campaign had been spied upon by his political opponents. As Breitbart reported: Well,...

Chick-fil-A has once again been named the top limited-service restaurant chain in the country, its fourth year in a row claiming the top spot on the American Customer Satisfaction Index. The ACSI offers as strong of a pulse as one can get on the industry, as it’s based on the input of nearly 23,000 consumers. That Chick-fil-A is a perennial favorite is no surprise. The chain, known for its customer service training, has had quite a year—generating more than $10.4 billion in sales and leapfrogging Taco Bell and Subway for the No. 3 spot in the industry, according to National’s...

The ‘Goldwater rule’ is the informal name of the American Psychiatric Association’s guideline that it is unethical for psychiatrists to give ‘a professional opinion about public figures whom they have not examined in person, and from whom they have not obtained consent to discuss their mental health in public statements.’ It’s named after 1964 Republican presidential candidate Barry Goldwater, who sued a magazine and won after it published a story claiming over a thousand mental health experts said he was unfit for office.

Francis in his own words: There was no 'multiplication' of loaves: it was just 'sharing'. In his own words: Surprisingly, the account of the multiplication of the loaves does not mention the multiplication itself. On the contrary, the words that stand out are: “break”, “give” and “distribute” (cf. Lk 9:16). In effect, the emphasis is not on the multiplication but the act of sharing. This is important. Jesus does not perform a magic trick; he does not change five loaves into five thousand and then to announce: “There! Distribute them!” No. Jesus first prays, then blesses the five loaves...

San Francisco will become the first US city to effectively ban e-cigarette sales, after the city's board of supervisors unanimously voted in favor of an ordinance Tuesday. The ordinance says "no person shall sell or distribute an electronic cigarette to a person in San Francisco" unless that product has undergone premarket review by the US Food and Drug Administration. To date, none have. This includes sales in brick-and-mortar stores, as well as online sales shipped to a San Francisco address. The ordinance also applies to flavored tobacco products in addition to e-cigarettes. The measure does not ban the use of...

They honest-to-God don’t make them like Steve Dunleavy anymore: Steve Dunleavy, the hard-hitting, hard-drinking journalist who helped define The New York Post as a crime reporter, editor and premier columnist, died Monday at his home on Long Island. He was 81. The cause was unknown. “Steve Dunleavy was one of the greatest reporters of all time,” said Rupert Murdoch, owner of The Post. “Whether competing with his own father in the famous Sydney, Australia, tabloid wars, or over the last 40 years in New York, Steve’s life story is littered with great scoops. He was much loved by both his...

The Brazilian branch of gaming peripheral maker Razer announced yesterday on Twitter that it won’t be renewing its contract with influencer Gabriela Cattuzzo. The decision appears to be related to a Twitter thread from June 21 in which Cattuzzo said “men are trash” in response to her having been sexually harassed. Razer Brazil framed the issue as being about “gamers” rather than gender issues. “As gamers, we face every type of preconception and stereotype from the outset, and we will continue fighting so that this type of situation doesn’t repeat itself,” the company said in its statement, as translated by...

Chaos intensified on Tuesday inside the agency responsible for securing the nation’s borders as a top official was replaced by an immigration hard-liner and former Fox News contributor who last week pushed for nationwide deportations. Mark Morgan, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement acting director who pushed for raids to deport undocumented families, will lead Customs and Border Protection, administration officials said Tuesday. In the new position, Mr. Morgan will be responsible for processing thousands of asylum-seeking families, including children, in facilities along the southwestern border. Before he was named acting director of ICE, Mr. Morgan made frequent appearances on Fox...

Short answer: No! Biden is on his way out. He will not survive having flipped on capital punishment and gay marriage, having recruited Southern racists — albeit with civility — to join his drive to kill school busing in the 70s, coming out for and then against the Hyde Amendment, being accused of groping women, and watching his son get pilloried for using his dad’s power to make millions in Ukraine and China. Biden is staggering. He has fallen from 43 percent to 31 percent in the past six weeks. And he will fall further. He is coming across as...

A South Bend, Indiana police union on Monday criticized Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s (D) handling of a recent police shooting in the city, saying his focus is predicated “solely for his political gain.” Last week, Buttigieg was forced to temporarily leave his 2020 presidential campaign trail to hold what was a tense town hall with the South Bend police chief Scott Ruszkowski after an officer fatally shot Eric Logan, a 54-year-old African-American man who was allegedly breaking into vehicles with a knife. In a blistering letter shared to Facebook, the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #36 stated Buttigeieg’s response to the...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A federal judge on Tuesday refused to put on hold a lawsuit by about 200 Democratic lawmakers accusing President Donald Trump of violating an anti-corruption provision of the U.S. Constitution with his private business dealings, a move that clears the way for them to seek some of his financial records. U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan rejected a request by Trump administration lawyers to halt the case and let them file an expedited appeal of key preliminary rulings he issued against the president. Sullivan said an immediate appeal would not be efficient. The lawsuit is one of two...
