The City of Angels is looking a whole lot more like a Den of Demons these days, as the second-largest city in the United States descends into “complete breakdown,” according to Dr. Drew Pinsky, a longtime L.A. resident and radio personality who gave his take on the current crumbling state of the world’s biggest entertainment hub during a recent episode of “The Ingraham Angle.” Rampant illegal immigration, homelessness, rodent infestation, and infectious disease are just a few of the many serious problems afflicting today’s LA, according to reports. And in the eyes of Dr. Pinsky, the California mecca is now,...

The Northern Virginia pastor who prayed for President Trump on stage after an unscheduled visit Sunday explained why he did so, acknowledging "some within our church...are hurt that I made this decision." David Platt, McLean Bible Church pastor, told his congregation, in a statement, that his "aim was in no way to endorse the president, his policies, or his party, but to obey God’s command to pray for our president and other leaders" as mentioned in the Bible. While the megachurch was not one of the churches that joined Rev. Franklin Graham's "Special Day of Prayer" for Trump, Platt acknowledged...

CHICAGO — Illinois gas taxes haven’t been touched in decades, but this summer, gas taxes will practically double. As part of Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s attempt to balance the state budget, the state’s gas tax will double to 38 cents per gallon beginning July 1. That puts Illinois in the top five states for the highest total gasoline taxes. “Illinois is going from one of the lower gas taxes in the region to one of the highest,” Patrick DeHaan, GasBuddy.com founder, said. Cities in Cook County also have the option to raise gas taxes by an additional 3 cents a...

Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg said Monday he would not have called for then-Sen. Al Franken's resignation in 2017 over sexual harassment allegations before having the opportunity to learn more about the claims. The comment puts Buttigieg at odds with a number of his opponents in the Democratic primary, including New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, who was the first to issue the call, California Sen. Kamala Harris, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren. "I think it was his decision to make, but I think the way we basically...

President Trump’s threat to impose tariffs on all Mexican imports until Mexico takes serious action to control its border with the U.S. shocked the Washington Beltway, Wall Street, and the Palacio Nacional in Mexico City. These centers of financial and political power, lulled by a U.S. Congress that has refused to act and activist federal judges who have stymied Trump’s border control efforts at every step, were jolted awake by Trump’s ultimatum. But they should not have been surprised. The president issued a similar threat back in April. And, Trump promised from day one of his presidential campaign that he...

The progressive era is a mystery to far too many people, and this is by design. One example of this is the book "Philip Dru: Administrator", which is in reality a blueprint of progressive action. This is not a conspiracy theory, it is an agenda - a provable fact. But due to the progressives' need for shadows and darkness with which to hide in, they have erased their own history and put a nice shiny bow on it. At the time of its publication, Dru was a big deal. We don't know that today, again, by design, but it...

Hillary Clinton posted her latest lecture to America on social media Monday; bizarrely asserting that nobody in the US is “above the law” months after avoiding prosecution for her mishandling of classified material on her private email server. “I don’t know who needs to hear this, but the president is not above the law,” posted the twice-failed presidential candidate on Twitter. Clinton’s comments come days after a cyber defense firm confirmed the former Secretary of State will be a keynote speaker at their conference on network and digital security.

Hillary Clinton has reportedly criticized 2020 presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), saying that her 2016 primary opponent would rather go scorched-earth than graciously lose a race. In a recent “off the record” conversation with Page Six’s Cindy Adams, Clinton sounded off on the sprawling field of Democrat presidential candidates. According to Adams, Clinton has “no good words for Sanders, writing that the Obama-era secretary of state believes “Anyone overtaking him in a district considered his, he’ll burn the place down.” Clinton has blamed her own election loss to President Trump on former President Barack Obama, fired FBI Director James...

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem (Old Testament) 1 Kings 8 The Dedication of the Temple 62 Then the king and all Israel with him offered sacrifices before the Lord. 63 Solomon offered a sacrifice of fellowship offerings to the Lord: twenty-two thousand cattle and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep and goats. So the king and all the Israelites dedicated the temple of the Lord. 64 On that same day the king consecrated the middle part of the courtyard in front of the temple of the Lord, and there he offered burnt offerings, grain offerings and the fat of the fellowship...

A federal judge threw out House Democrats’ lawsuit seeking an injunction against President Trump’s use of military funds for a border wall. Washington, D.C., district court Judge Trevor McFadden said the fight is ultimately a political one “because the Constitution grants the House no standing to litigate these claims.""This case presents a close question about the appropriate role of the Judiciary in resolving disputes between the other two branches of the Federal Government. To be clear, the court does not imply that Congress may never sue the Executive to protect its powers," McFadden, a Trump appointee, wrote in his opinion. "The...

Way back in 1998, I ended up with one of the neatest jobs that I had – assessing risks to a major corporation. The Internet was new at work, and I was being paid to research potential disasters. It was so interesting and so much fun I felt guilty. In researching disasters and risk, I came across Y2K. For those that don’t remember, there was a concern that, as a result of programmers only using two digits to store year information in computers, that many computers and computer programs would cease to function when the calendar flipped over to 00.There...

Paul Manafort, the former Trump campaign chairman who was sentenced earlier this year to nearly seven years in prison in connection with two federal cases, will be transferred later this week from a minimum security facility in Pennsylvania to New York City’s Rikers Island, a source close to Manafort told Fox News. Rikers Island is the famous jail in the shadow of LaGuardia Airport. It has been the temporary home of some of the most high-profile violent criminals in the city, including David Berkowitz, the Son of Sam; and Mark David Chapman, the man who killed John Lennon. "He’s not...

Ten Cent Beer NightTen Cent Beer Night was a promotion held by Major League Baseball during a game against the Texas Rangers at Cleveland Stadium on Tuesday, June 4, 1974. The idea behind the promotion was to attract more fans to the game by offering 12 U.S. fl oz (354.9 ml) cups of 3.2% beer for just 10 cents each (regular price was 65 cents) with a limit of six per purchase. During the game, fans became heavily intoxicated, culminating in a riot in the ninth inning which caused the game to be forfeited due to the crowd's uncontrollable rowdiness and because the game...

It's a familiar quote from Charles Dickens' classic "Oliver Twist," but with special contemporary relevance in light of a statement last week by Special Counsel Robert Mueller: "'If the law supposes that,' said Mr. Bumble... 'the law is a ass -- a idiot.'" But it isn't so much that the law is fractured, rather it is practitioners who sometimes do it an injustice. In a statement at the Justice Department during which he resigned and announced the closing of his office, Mueller said this about indicted Russian hackers who attempted to influence the outcome of the 2016 election: "These indictments...

Those among us who actively support and champion the tenets of communism for the masses all have one thing in common, they all assume they will be one of the commissars. Take Elizabeth Warren for starters, on The View: “Two-cent wealth tax on the top one-tenth of 1 percent, your 50-millionth and first dollar, and with that we can cancel student loan debt for about 95 percent of the people who have it,” Warren said. Her fans cheering, Warren added, “Oh, but we can do so much more…” And here it is, more! 1) Universal tuition-free technical school, two-year college, and...
