Fresh off his crucial vote to kill the repeal of Obamacare, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) is now working with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to craft what McCain called “a fitting legacy to honor my service to the country and Senate over my lifetime.” The bill they are drafting is a revival of the so-called “Gang of Eight” measure passed by the Senate in 2013, but rejected by the House. It would give a path to citizenship to most illegal immigrants, greatly increase the number of visas to allow companies to replace American workers with foreigners and greatly increase...

According to a Thursday Wall Street Journal report, Special Counsel Robert Mueller has been using a federal grand jury to assist his investigation into alleged Russian election interference. The report claims the grand jury has been in operation in Washington, DC for several weeks, although it does not provide a source for this information. As the article acknowledges, grand jury proceedings are typically sealed and participation is kept secret. The grand jury discussed is a different one from the Alexandria, Virginia one impaneled to investigate former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn earlier this year. The exact targets of Mueller’s Russia...

A new documentary urging people to ditch animal food products and start eating vegan is 'irresponsible' and 'misleading', according to a leading nutritionist. What The Health, which debuted on Netflix in March, tells viewers that the is one healthy way to eat involving cutting out all animal products from our diet. The documentary, a huge success on the streaming site, says that meat, fish, poultry and dairy are making us fat, giving us cancer, and poisoning us with toxins. Directors Kip Andersen and Keegan Kuhn said their aim was to help Americans make healthier food choices. But New York City...

Sources in Washington confirm that Senator John McCain voted against the Obamacare Skinny Repeal so that President Donald Trump could not score a legislative victory before he can be impeached by the House and Senate. Special counsel Robert Mueller has impaneled a grand jury for his “Russia” investigation, which still doesn’t have any evidence or any possible charges that could be associated with it. A grand jury indictment is the first step to obtaining articles of impeachment, and then it would take a majority of the House of Representatives and then two-thirds of our 100 senators. The Deep State might...

You may remember the story of a New Jersey high school that came under fire after President Trump's campaign logo and slogan were digitally removed from two students' yearbook photos and another student's quote from the president was also excluded. The students complained about Wall Township High School's censorship, which led to an outpouring of support - including from the president himself - and the eventual suspension of the school's yearbook club adviser. 200 copies of the yearbook were reissued with the photos and quote intact, at a cost of $10,000. Now, it's been revealed that the father of one...

Washington Free Beacon Senior Writer Adam Kredo appeared on Fox News's "Hannity" Friday night, where he told host Sean Hannity that it is "unprecedented" how many people were unmasked by then-United Nations Ambassador Samantha Power during the final year of the Obama administration. Power is believed to have made "hundreds" of unmasking requests to "identify individuals named in classified intelligence community reports related to Trump and his presidential transition team, according to multiple sources who said the behavior is unprecedented for an official in her position," according to the Washington Free Beacon. "It's truly unprecedented," Kredo said. "It's certainly odd,...

Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen was warned in March that the flow of migrants entering Canada illegally risked turning into a larger problem — months before this week's surge of border crossings began, documents obtained by CBC News show.(snip) The flow of asylum seekers crossing into Quebec has been largely driven by the approximately 50,000 Haitian migrants living in the United States who believe they could be deported by January. The Trump administration has threatened to revoke a program granting them temporary immigration status created following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti that killed an estimated 300,000 people.

Author Mark Steyn reminded that when Democrats were in power in Congress under President Obama they did not waste time moving forward with their agenda, something the Republican Congress has struggled to do this year. "Whatever you feel, they get into power and they deliver, boom, right from the first day," Steyn told "Fox & Friends" on Saturday. Steyn listed some Democrat projects from the Obama era: governmentalized health care, transgenders in the military, gay marriage, open borders, and climate change initiatives. The party caters to key niche demographics of their base, Steyn said. Republicans take years longer than Democrats...

Often, the conversation about how colleges enforce Title IX with regard to sexual assault and harassment allegations quickly devolves into standard political muck-throwing — squabbles about whether liberals are too easily triggered, or why conservatives care so little about sexual assault victims, and so on. That’s unfortunate, because by now there is an abundance of evidence that the manner in which many schools and universities are enforcing the law is deeply broken. The scholar Laura Kipnis’s 2015 essay, “My Title IX Inquisition,” should have made that clear — Kipnis, the controversy over her subsequent book notwithstanding, dealt with an incredibly...

Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) on Friday accused Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz of being "racist" for saying that the Trump administration will be facing an "unfavorable" locality for a grand jury because it is "solidly Democratic" and has a "ethnic and racial composition" not favorable to Trump. Dershowitz, who has donated thousands of dollars to Democrats, told WABC radio host Rita Cosby on Friday that the new D.C. grand jury orchestrated by Special Counsel Robert Mueller is unfair to Trump. "It gives the prosecutor a tremendous tactical advantage… the case now can be brought not in Northern...

'We need to talk about what people think about when they wake up in the morning, and it’s not Russia,' said one strategist. ALISO VIEJO, Calif. — Democrats are increasingly conflicted about how forcefully to press the issue of possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Fearful of alienating voters who appear more concerned about the economy and health care, Democrats campaigning in districts across the country are de-emphasizing Russia in their rhetoric — and some are warning that a persistent focus on the Russia investigation could backfire. “In the races where I’m working, I think voters think that...
