New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie got in the face of a Chicago Cubs fan in Milwaukee on Sunday — all while keeping an iron grip on his bowl of nachos. Christie was walking down the aisle, snack in hand, when he was razzed by a Cubs fan, according to footage tweeted by WISN. He got into a brief stare-off with the fan, faces about a foot apart, before Christie sarcastically told him: “You’re a big shot!”

Australia has a feral predator problem. Feral dogs and dingo/feral mixtures kill large numbers of lambs and calves. They predate on native species. But as bad as feral dogs and dingo/feral mixes are, the top predator in most places is the feral cat. Exotic foxes, that were imported from England are considered pests.Restrictions on gun ownership and hunting have made the feral predator problem worse. The government could encourage people to carry rifles and shoot feral predators.Instead, the government puts out 1080 ejector capsules. When an animal pulls at the bait, the spring loaded ejector propels the poison capsule into...

As President of the United States, Donald Trump has an army of five personal chefs, ready and waiting to slave away in the kitchen to cater to his every dietary need. Instead, the POTUS’ favourite foods have been revealed – and it hasn’t left experts impressed. According to the Chicago Tribune, Trump eats “like a teenage boy”, indulging in fast food – he celebrated with a Big Mac and fries after he won the Republican presidential nomination - and knocking back cans of Diet Coke. By all accounts, he’s not a huge fan of breakfast, but if he does eat...

The three new Zumwalt-class destroyers are in trouble. Originally envisioned as a fleet of more nearly three dozen destroyers, and the weapons that justified them, the Zumwalts have faced delays, cuts and staggering cost increases. As the ships teeter on the verge of white elephant status, could they become relevant again by taking on a new role, that of a stealthy ship killer? The Zumwalt-class destroyers were originally envisioned as a fleet of thirty-two destroyers designed to attack targets far inland with precision-guided howitzer shells. Designed in part to support amphibious landings by the U.S. Marine Corps, the Zumwalts were...

The news has just broken that Vladimir Putin will expel 755 American diplomats -- or "diplomats," depending on whether they're working for the State Department or some other, er, agencies -- in retaliation for the latest round of American sanctions imposed by a panicked Congress being stampeded into increasingly foolish actions by the resentful Democrats and their allies in the Compromised Media. This is a toxic brew that can have no good outcome, but the short version is: we've just been neutralized in Russia. Russian president Vladimir Putin announced Sunday that he was ordering 755 American diplomats out of...

There is an expression: “I will leave you naked before your enemies”… …A proactive assertion essentially stating: if you chose to engage in war with me – not only do I promise your defeat against my interests, but I will lay you open to exposure from all adversaries who will then take advantage of your new vulnerability. President Donald J Trump has done a remarkable job filling the role behind this proclamation. In a seismic political shift Trump has gone far beyond drawing a line in the sand. He has openly dug a trench on his pre-selected battle space within...

The Intercept reports that former Breitbart News Executive Chairman and current White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon has called for tech companies such as Google and Facebook to be regulated in a similar way to public utilities as the influence and reach of these companies grows. irector Kathryn Bigelow throws us into the middle of a riot in “Detroit,” and in the words of the Martha and the Vandellas song, there’s nowhere to run to, and there’s nowhere to hide. Going to a theater, walking down the street, running down the street, even staying at home and looking out the window — none of it is safe. The burned-out businesses and wreckage don’t look like America but like a scene out of Lebanon or Kosovo, except that we recognize it, and we know. That’s us.

But a sitting Democratic senator, speaking on condition of anonymity for fear of upsetting Schumer on such a sensitive issue, said, “I’m just certain Chuck is already thinking about this – reaching out to McCain and Collins and Murkowski and others and asking if they really want to stand with the GOP. Do they really want to call themselves Republicans at a time when a Republican President and the party’s leaders in Congress are doing such damage to the party – and to the country?”… What could change the equation, he said, would be a campaign by Senate Republican leader...

Donald Trump was promising to destroy a vile criminal cartel. Unfortunately, not his own. But one could be forgiven for mistaking the vicious tactics of the MS-13 gang, as described by the president in a Long Island speech on Friday, with those of the Trump White House. “They don’t like shooting people because it’s too quick, it’s too fast,” Trump said, adding: “They like to knife them and cut them, and let them die slowly because that way, it’s more painful, and they enjoy watching that much more. These are animals.” The president could have been describing his own sadistic...

Sen. Charles Schumer says the Food and Drug Administration should launch a formal investigation into the health consequences of chemicals used in fast food packaging. The New York Democrat on Sunday released a letter he sent to the head of the agency asking for the investigation into phthalates, which are used in plastics to make them more flexible. Some phthalates have been linked to health issues, both developmental and reproductive. People can be exposed to phthalates if they eat or drink food that's come into contact with containers made with the chemicals. Schumer pointed out that some types of phthalates...

“It was a failure from newest member [Sen.] Luther Strange [R-Ala.] at the bottom to the very top with Mitch McConnell as majority leader, and I hope that the Senate will not quit — I hope and urge the senate to stay in Washington, D.C., until the job gets done,” he continued. "And if they're gonna quit, then, by golly, maybe they oughta [sic] start at the top with Mitch McConnell leaving his position and letting somebody new, somebody bold, somebody conservative take the reins, so that they can come up with a plan that can get through the United...

What is it with Chelsea Handler and syphilis? She seems to have it constantly on her mind. The symptoms of her syphilitic fascination first became evident last April when Handler claimed that President Trump is suffering from the ailment that Handler can't seem to cure herself from thinking about. Handler's latest syphilitic fascination attack happened yesterday at Politicon in Pasadena, California, where she again claimed that Trump has that which she has yet to rid from her thoughts.

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” conservative radio host Bill Cunningham called Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) a “backstabber” for his vote against the Republican health care plan. Cunningham said, “When he went to Youngstown, thousands and thousands showed up. If he would come here to Cincinnati, the same thing would happen. I don’t think any president after six or seven months could travel the way the Trumpster has traveled, with the outpouring of love and affection. Despite the fact that the back stabber, O.J. style, who is Sen. John McCain, who began his public life as a hero and is ending...

A Washington town took action after a roadside memorial honoring veterans was removed by county road crews. The “years-old display” of American and POW flags in the town of Preston was taken down after someone filed a complaint. Crews said they took the original flags down because they didn’t have permission to be there. On Thursday evening, angry residents hung up new flags. “People were really, really upset about this,” one resident told KOMO. Another local man, Robert Cunningham, said it doesn’t make sense that one complaint led the memorial’s destruction. “One person says they don’t like it, and they...
