Texas National Guard - Czech and Albanian Troops What in the world are Czech and Albanian troops doing participating in Texas National Guard operations in Texas? Couldn't George W. Bush find enough Texans to defend Texas? Or if he needed an exchange program, how about Wisconsin or Ohio? But the Czech Republic and a basket case, communist, drug center like Albania? The Texas National Guard is proudly decendent from the Texian revolutionary militia and the Alamo. Perhaps, if the Guard had the help of the Albanians back then, we would not have lost at the Alamo. In a frightening discovery, ...

Steve Forbes on 6/24/99 "It's important for people to know that in his 1994 campaign, Mr. Bush took a pledge not to raise taxes. Then, in 1997, Governor Bush broke his pledge by proposing 75 tax increases. In this campaign, Governor Bush first said he would not sign the no-new-taxes pledge. Then, just a day later, he flip-flopped and signed a letter containing a no-new-taxes pledge. But he refuses to offer a tax plan of his own, and his aides seem to be dismissing the idea of bold, dramatic tax reforms." "I made this point on Sunday on the CBS ...

My fellow Freepers, Carity(Brian Buckley), Counsel for Free Republic, has begun to actively work on Don's Case!!. He has seen the video's and will vouch for Don Adams innocence. He came to Philadelphia and met with the DA's office and believes that their approval of a complaint against Don Adams and disapproval of the same against Morris is an outrage and a miscarriage of justice. He believes as we do that the tapes vindicate Don Adams and implicate John Morris. Brian, Connie and Jim are all in full support of Don Adams. Free Republic stands behind him. The powers that ...

Two days later -- just hours after the tot's funeral -- Ronald L. Shanabarger told his wife he'd killed their son. The next day he gave police a confession saying that not only did he kill the boy, he planned the crime even before the child was conceived as a way of exacting revenge against his wife. Tyler didn't die of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome as the ...

Not for commercial use Despite denials, Clinton is planning a full campaign of retribution By Daniel J. Is the KLA genuinely willing to honour its pledge to disarm? It will not be easy in a land where nearly every man owns a firearm. By Rupert Cornwell in Pristina It was a moment politicians kill for. In his own land, Robin Cook may be less than universally loved. But in this small corner of the Balkans he is a liberator, hugged and kissed last week on the streets of Pristina, a conquering hero accorded his triumph by a delirious populace. And our Foreign Secretary, visibly stunned by the reception, found words to fit the end of Kosovo's recent ...

Here they are folks, those who have been "honored" after appearing on today's news shows PROFESSIONALS' MONTHLYBe sure to check out the "THINKING MAN" cartoon at the bottom of the page and the other updates. Following is an excerpt from the updated "An Outsider's View" titled "...And Victory for All":So, this was the war to define future wars. How to "win" has been demonstrated by none other than an impeached, draft-dodging, flower-power hippie and leaders of an alliance that are either a collection of his clones or weaker, NATO enriched cheerleaders. Commander-in-Chief William Jefferson Clinton has rewritten military manuals and ...

As the experts search for tangible reasons and legislative remedies for the recent school shootings, they overlook the the most obvious reason for the senseless violence. It is the gradual erasure of the moral boundaries that were put in place by God. Lets face it folks, the only glue that binds our civilized society together, is a belief that we will someday have to account for our actions. Man, without a God-seeded conscience, is a despicable creature, capable of unspeakable horror. Our infantile selfishness, unchecked, will drive us to cheat, steal, and yes, even murder to satisfy our needs. Now, ...

IT'S just too much: the celestial choirs, the haloes. Henry can't stand it. Never mind the conduct of the Kosovo war; he objects to "the appalling, oozing self-righteousness with which it is being presented to the American public - the distinction also being made by your people between moral wars and national interest wars". Before Bill Clinton and Tony Blair, so the spin goes, the world was run by ruthless men and women who thought solely in terms of realpolitik, or national interest. The draft-dodger and the CND member grew up thinking Kissinger's bombing of Cambodia was the quintessence of ...

During the last three-plus decades, extremists in this country hostile to America's Judeo-Christian tradition have succeeded in erecting an almost absolute barrier between church and state. These anti-biblical zealots claim to have been acting in deference to constitutional principles. In fact, they have acted in willful disregard of those principles -- revealing their contempt, not their allegiance, to our constitutional heritage. The framers of the Constitution never intended to erect a wall of separation between church and state, merely to prevent the government from establishing a state religion. Even liberal Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas acknowledged that the framers ...

NATO troops yesterday discovered the body of a Serb woman who allegedly had been raped and murdered by members of the Kosovo Liberation Army amid a wave of violent reprisals by ethnic Albanians in Kosovo. Senior KLA commanders denied that their organisation was involved, although Nato sources expressed frustration at the failure of some parts of the KLA to obey the undertaking made by its leaders to hand over their weapons. Ismet Tara, a KLA commander in the west of Kosovo, strongly denied that his men had any part in a pattern of revenge against Serb civilians. "But the KLA ...

Rep. Barr Files Lawsuit Against Clinton White House Alleges Illegal Transfer of his FBI File to News Media By MARVIN LEE Congressman Bob Barr (R-GA) on Friday filed suit in federal district court in Washington, DC against the Clinton White House for illegally requesting from the FBI and illegally transferring to publisher Larry Flynt, spinmeister James Carville, and reporter Dan Moldea, his FBI file. Flynt, Carville, and Moldea subsequently used information, which Barr contends must have been obtained from his FBI file, in an attempt to discredit him in his capacity as a critic of the White House. Also ...
