HELP KEEP THE LIGHTS ON: First Quarter '03 FReepathon Now Underway .. Thread 6

.... ...
The Free Republic first quarter '03 FReepathon is now underway!

Our goal for this fundraiser is the same as last quarter: $65,000. We have about $4,000 per month coming in from monthly donors so we will need to raise approx $53,000 to hit the target.
The funds raised through these fundraisers are used to pay our operating costs. Free Republic operates on an approximate $260,000 annual budget (breakdown here) and all funds are provided by donations from FReepers and Lurkers.

Thank you all very much for your continued support.
P.S. We are planning to make FreeRepublic.com email addresses available as a thank you to all who donate at least once per year. This new feature should be ready to go within a few days. We will post a notice and a link for donors to setup their FR email address as soon as it's ready.
Donate to FR and help us keep the lights on for the best political forum on the NET!

It is a problem on the brakes on the rear wheel of the driver's side. It seems to be the only one with a screeching problem. I have had it worked on but it continues, probably these new environmental metallic brake pads they put out now. I may have to change all of them with pads that have shims on them. I don't really have the time to fool with it so I will have to take it somewhere. There is a problem with the wheel on that tire/brake area as well. Oh well I diverse. When the weather was cold, it was hardly screeching, but as the weather warms up the calipers seem expanded and it does it worse at different times. Oh well, enough of all this.

I will probably still send some kind of donation next week.

Well we finished off the basement so they can wreck it all they want and I don't have to see it

Out of site .. out of mind .. plus I was really giving myself a headache from yelling all the time .. LOL

However, they still manage to make their way upstairs ..

the SWEETNESS you see in their faces, is what we all see in Mo, each day.

Hear, hear!

Now, Mo, don't be getting all embarrassed. You give us something to aspire to, so keep it up!

LOL!!!!!!!!

My little (fill in the blank) can trash a room, any room, faster than she can enter it.

And I should be in bed because the realtor office called and they want to show this place tomorrow - I've got major clutter clean up to do - let alone scour the stove from the past 3 nights dinner...............

But, when did things like that ever hamper me??????

Alot of the old pictures we have, they don't smile in any of them .. Years ago I asked mom why not and she said it was because they didn't have any teeth

LOL. Your mom is a riot. I've been told it's really because of the extremely long exposure times necessary to take pictures in those days. Try holding that sparkling smile of yours for two minutes. It was probably the photographers who didn't want them to smile because they'd end up moving and spoil the picture. (Well, that and those unattractive gaps in their mouths.)
