Maryland Area Prayer Thread: Pray for Metro area Freepers and Families

It was suggested on another thread by some wonderful freepers who have familiies in the Maryland Metro area, that we start a prayer thread for our freeper families and friends.

Please God keep everyone safe from this killer. Let them catch this killer today with no more deaths.

Thank you so much for starting this thread. I have personally experienced the power of prayer to heal and protect.

My son and his family live in Fairfax County, VA. Later this month he will be starting a new job in the MD area where the sniper attacks first began.

May God protect all Freepers & their families in the countries surrounding DC. May God give wisdom and guidance to all those trying to capture the murderer.

Lord, we ask for calm and for the safety of those who live in the DC Metro area and peace for those who have loved ones in the region. Guide those in law enforcement who are searching for the sniper and keep them from harm. Amen.

We're about 50 miles north of the area, but our local MD schools are in "lockdown," too. No field trips, no recess, everybody on high alert. We had planned to take the kids to the Renaissance Festival in the Annapolis area tomorrow, but the rain and the sniper have cancelled that for us. Darling husband, however, will be going to DC on Tuesday for a medical appointment. Hope they catch this lunatic before then.

I live in Fairfax, VA but have clients in Manassas and Dale City. I've been rethinking how I go about visiting these clients, and how visible I am from any street. I've begun to feel like a sitting duck.

I pray that this killer or killers are apprehended quickly, before they do any more sniping. I'm beginning to feel terrorized.

Please dear God, protect any future victims.....let the bullets fly past them and protect them from harm. And protect me from all harm as I go about the area, attending to my little business.

It is hard for you not to feel that way. But I pray God would give you a sense of peace. Any yes, that this killer would be caught quickly.

Thanks, Kim. Sis and I were just talking about the shootings last night just before we here talked about starting this thread.

Remember the thread last night was started about a shooting that turned out to not be the sniper? I called her right away and then had to call back and say "Never mind."

This morning she caught me on my cell phone early and told me "there's been another shooting!" She was so upset. I think she was stiil upset because she hadn't been able to reach my nephew right away but had as of the call.She may have to work the tiplines tomorrow as they had over 1,000 calls today.

I will give her your cyber hugs. Told her last night I wish I could physically just hug them all.
