Plane Crashes into World Trade Center

Just in. I am looking at a picture of the WTC with smoke pouring out of the western tower. Looks like a huge amount of damage. Debris raining down on people in the street.

Would it be in total bad taste to have some of those horrid photos available to flash in the face of the anti-war demonstrators with an equally heart rendering caption?

It's a good sentiment, but all it would do is make those maggots feel good by reminding them about the happiest day of their lives.

Just looking at this thread brought back all the horror and rage I felt on that awful day. It makes me even more incredulous that there are people out there who rejoiced at what happened that day, and continue to do so. Lots of them turned up in DC last weekend to remind us of their presence - perversely, they may have done us a favor in doing so.

Thanks to all who bumped this thread. I wasn't a member of the FR family back then, and I'm glad to have a chance to see Freepers at their finest - doing what they had to do to get through the one of the darkest days in this great nation's history.

I cried on 911 as I was home that day and I have not checked but I think I was on this thread,there were many that day.I remember first hand reports from a freeper who works in Manhatten.I never want to relive that day,it was horrible.

Brother-in-law made it out, but had to watch those less fortunate make the horrific choice to jump, and witnessed the falling bodies.

Nephew ok as well. Let us still pray for the souls who died, and for their loved ones who will never recover from this.

Let us also send this thread to those we know who are not supporting Bush in his effort to rid the world of the vermin who sponsored this act, and others like it. We could print it out, and snail mail it to those who are internet deprived.

Let us also pray for our brave young men and women who will put thier lives on the line so that we may be safer in this insane world.

I wonder about shower trucks just at the rear of the forward troops. It would be a good idea to have them handy for our boys to shower frequently given the chemical and bio nasties left over from Desert Storm.

I've just re-read this thread and I AM SOOOOO MAD!

With all these panty-waist countries around the world questioning our efforts to stamp out these vermin, why is it we NEVER see file footage of THIS day on TV anymore. Too many Americans (and others) have forgotten what started it all. They should all be made to read this thread.

I ran across a photo of the planes slamming into the WTC and people jumping out the other day. I was so shocked and horrified all over again. We must NEVER forget!!!

I would have to disagree with this statement. I was talking to a friend who lives in Germany and she said that on 9/11, all classes at her school basically stopped and they took time to talk about what happened for the rest of the day. She said that they were watching the news on TV and everyone was very quiet and in shock about what had happened. This is basically what happened at my school as well, except that we don't have the luxury of TVs, so we all piled into a room to listen to the news on the radio. It was a very sad day. I will never forget.

Thanks. These reminders should have been playing every day, every night, on every channel for this past year and a half. They should have been playing until we are all sick of them and screaming, "No More!"

Many Americans are spoiled and have no memory whatsoever. They think this is a partisan game and don't have a clue that their cushy little lifestyles are in jeopardy.
