In an attempt to dismiss the Benghazi Select Committee as a partisan witch hunt against Hillary Clinton, an ex-committee staffer has accused the panel of being obsessed with a political agenda.
Bradley F. Podliska, an investigator and Air Force Reserves officer, told The New York Times that the Benghazi committee was becoming “primarily focused” on Clinton. His comments come on the heels of Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s controversial statement on "Hannity," when he said the Benghazi committee was directly responsible for sinking Clinton’s poll numbers. Chairman Trey Gowdy (S-SC), while accepting McCarthy's apology, insisted his words can't "fix the damage" done to the panel.
Gowdy, again having to defend his committee’s work, responded to Podliska’s claim, noting the latter only voiced his so-called concerns after they refused his demands to pay him. Here’s the chairman's full statement:

Gowdy has already proven he's a whiz at penning powerful letters. Last week, he torched his Democratic colleague Elijah Cummings for contributing nothing to the Benghazi committee's efforts except leaking lies to the media.
Why wouldn’t it focus on Hillary she was the Secretary of State for crying outloud.
They make that sound like focusing on the person in charge is a bad thing. Harry Trumans desk sign out to be tatooed on this guy: The Buck Stops Here!

Trey Gowdy is striving to do the right thing. The democrats are striving to lie enough till everyone believes the lies are they truth. As Conservative we need to stand alongside the leaders whom are striving for the truth. The democrat machine is only there to cause chaos. Elijah Cummings should be censured just like Rangel. Crooks, cheats and frauds have no business being in leadership!

What exactly are they investigating? Why is Obama not being looked at? (Maybe because he’s black and a lame duck and could retaliate against Congressmen?).

That being said this Bengahzi Committee does seem to be dragging its feet, that alone can be construed as political, it seems to me they have the goods, they should unwrap it already.
I’m thinking they may want to get all the way to the presidents complicity in Bengahzi, but all indications and their own words on the restrictions of the committee in that there is much they can not do, getting to obama may well be a bridge to far, and could risk losing everything.
That would not surprise me.

Typical Democrat tactic when they are cornered. I call it the “loose in the barn tactic”. Pick up, and throw all the sh#t in all directions, causing everybody to duck, and run, and then blame them for not being tolerant of sh#t.
The topic from then on is about NOT being tolerant of SH#T, instead of Hillary/Benghazi. Meanwhile they keep throwing gas on the piles of sh#t to divert attention.
The key word on this former staffer is “fired.” As I understand, he was accused of placing classified information on an unsecure system...hmmm...didn’t the Dims accused the committee of doing the same thing as Hillary a few months back? Looks like Gowdy found the culprit and sent him packing. So, this creep goes whining to his new friends at the NYT and complains the investigation is a partisan witch hunt.
And this guy is an intel officer? He should be referred for prosecution for mishandling classified, along with his new, best friend, the former SecState.
Gowdy is impressive by any standard. It pains me to say this, but I would be willing to let Boehner remain on the job until Gowdy can clean up the Benghazi mess and move into the speaker’s job. He is by far the best candidate, and would immediately unify the GOP caucus.
What's my point? hillary supporters and supporters of others who have a strong chance of getting a whole lot of blame for what happened in Benghazi seem to have as their strategy to stop hillary's testimony from happening.
I don't understand why Gowdy let hillary delay her testimony for so long. It's giving those who want to stop the testimony too much time to maneuver.

Why is the state controlled “media” pimping the nonsense about this guy being an “Air Force Reserve” member? Trying to give him some credibility? This guy stinks to high heaven. It sounds to me as though he’s “Ready for Clinton”.

Well, I just read on another thread that Gowdy is a worthless GOPe RINO Uniparty hack, who only does the bidding of the Cheap Labor Express. So I guess not everybody around here would agree with you.
