While real estate mogul Donald Trump continues to lead the Republican field, several rivals are beginning to find footholds, the new poll shows. Trump leads with 30 percent of the vote, ahead of 15 percent for retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson and 10 percent for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

Trump still with a healthy 15 point lead, but is down 7 from his high so there is a real slide going on over the last two weeks. However, he's still double Carson and in a good spot. Interesting that Yeb has seen a slight bump up. I think Trump may have arrested the slide with his Tax plan today. Carson has sucked up most of the air with his Islam comments. Carly dropping as expected. Yeb and Rubio tied with the Amnesty vote.

Yes. They are an online outfit. Sample of 637 registered republicans. If you believe Larry Sabato, he claims on lines are more accurate. Key point is that Trump has seen some erosion in support but is still comfortably ahead here.

Perhaps because the elite who have be manipulating the Republican Party for decades don't have a real life. That 10%? With Walker out, it just might represent what a small percentage of the Republican Party they actually are.

One thing is for sure. Trump has the best advisors money can buy.

The position papers coming out were brilliant; First he puts the concerns over his 2nd Amendment views to rest, and now tax reform. Two big conservative positions, and he hit them exactly right to mobilize the base.

I told folks yesterday that Trump generally pulled in the 28-32% range.

As the WSJ reported Saturday, the Cronies’ political priorities for the last year were:

1) Amnesty for lawbreakers so labor supply would crush Americans’ incomes (this has worked perfectly)
2) Corporate Tax Cuts (I actually don’t mind...)
3) Suckling at the Federal Teat for FREE MONEY from the taxpayers (see: Export / Import Bank).

They bought Boner to ensure they crushed Americans’ incomes with illegal labor and take home pay with taxes from waitresses for Executives’ yachts.

They might be. I think they have lists of pre-screened poll participants in their databases and are able to pull a scientific sample online from known participants. In these days, they might be more able to obtain a sufficient number of responses from a balanced demographic than firms still relying on telephone contact.
