Trump still with a healthy 15 point lead, but is down 7 from his high so there is a real slide going on over the last two weeks. However, he's still double Carson and in a good spot. Interesting that Yeb has seen a slight bump up. I think Trump may have arrested the slide with his Tax plan today. Carson has sucked up most of the air with his Islam comments. Carly dropping as expected. Yeb and Rubio tied with the Amnesty vote.

Hasn’t Morning Consult always shown better Trump numbers than any other polling outlet?

Who the hell is supporting Jeb Bush? Because I’m hard pressed to find anyone in real life that does.

One thing is for sure. Trump has the best advisors money can buy.
The position papers coming out were brilliant; First he puts the concerns over his 2nd Amendment views to rest, and now tax reform. Two big conservative positions, and he hit them exactly right to mobilize the base.
I expect more soon.

The GOPe might as well face facts. No one is going to vote for the JEBster.

I'll bet that Carly comes roaring back after the next debate.
I also saw that Cruz is bubbling on the edge of a possible surge that might take him a good distance in the direction of the nomination depending how his showdown with OBOZO goes over Planned Parenthood. He'll have to walk a fine line, though.

Are you saying he had 37% two weeks ago? i don’t remember him being that high...
To: usafa92
First, I think Carly isn't wearing well.
Second, it would be amazing if Trump had 37% in a field this crowded. I think at this point in the race support is a measure of the news a candidate makes, and Trump makes his as he goes along.
IOW, if his support was 37% I would expect the race to tighten until more candidates drop out. True not just for Trump, I would expect the same of any front runner.
Who knows as he fills in the details...Immigration, Second Amendment, now taxes. All much better than I could have hoped.

How does Jeb manage to stay in the double-digits? If Perry and Walker were barely asterisks in the polls, by all rights Jeb should be even lower.
To: usafa92
We won’t see this poll in the MSM. It doesn’t fit their agenda. They want to spread the word that Trump is losing support.

Trump is at 40% minimum. People do not tune in to watch him unless they really like him. Record ratings are not happening for any candidates but him.
