The Pentagon has released a statement confirming that soldiers could be prosecuted for promoting their faith: "Religious proselytization is not permitted within the Department of Defense...Court martials and non-judicial punishments are decided on a case-by-case basis....
The statement, released to Fox News, follows a Breitbart News report on Obama administration Pentagon appointees meeting with anti-Christian extremist Mikey Weinstein to develop court-martial procedures to punish Christians in the military who express or share their faith.
(From our earlier report: Weinstein is the head of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, and says Christians--including chaplains--sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in the military are guilty of treason, and of committing an act of spiritual rape as serious a crime as sexual assault. He also asserted that Christians sharing their faith in the military are enemies of the Constitution.)
Being convicted in a court martial means that a soldier has committed a crime under federal military law. Punishment for a court martial can include imprisonment and being dishonorably discharged from the military.

I suspect that is what they want. A military filled with people who WILL fire on Americans.
Yes
There was a Mormon onboard my sub that continuously shared his Mormon faith - it was kind of annoying!
There are non mormons on Free Republic that continuously share their disdain and are very annoying
That’s precisely the idea. And......it will work.
How is the “I love Sodomy” training going?
I’ve never bought into the “conscription is bad” mantra. The armies of Korea and World War II were extremely professional. I’m not sure how our CS and CSS units would do in a Pusan or Bastogne scenario; my guess is the female component would crumble quickly.
Well, you guys are obviously experts in the day-to-day goings-on in the military, so I’ll take my 14 years of enlisted and officer experience and sit here quietly while you educate me.
The military culture hasn’t changed? Go talk to a veteran of the military before there were day care centers.
The first amendment guarantees him the right both to express himself and to have that be about his religion. Our choice is to debate him or to ignore him.
The Founders thought it better to permit free expression than to have the government involved in trying to control what people think and say.
I agree with them. Giving government the power of thought and speech police is far more dangerous than some random guy talking about his understanding of God.
As you should; go talk to somebody who fought in WW II, Korea or Vietnam...somebody who served prior to sex integrated units, consideration of others training and day care centers.
Cool, man. Teach me more about how the military is now. I really don’t know.
Then you know all about the day care centers, the rates of pregnancy in low density MOS’s, etc. etc.
Wait, I thought we were imprisoning Christians. Should we be imprisoning females? I’d better get the staff to work on this next phase.
"...who, being themselves but fallible and uninspired men, have assumed dominion over the faith of others, setting up their own opinions and modes of thinking as the only true and infallible, and as such endeavoring to impose them on others, hath established and maintained false religions over the greatest part of the world, and through all time;...that it is time enough for the rightful purposes of civil government, for its officers to interfere when principles break out into overt acts against peace and good order; and finally, that truth is great and will prevail if left to herself, that she is the proper and sufficient antagonist to error, and has nothing to fear from the conflict, unless by human interposition disarmed of her natural weapons, free argument and debate, errors ceasing to be dangerous when it is permitted freely to contradict them. ""I HAVE SWORN UPON THE ALTAR OF GOD ETERNAL HOSTILITY TO EVERY FORM OF TYRANNY OVER THE MIND OF MAN"--The Virginia Act For Establishing Religious Freedom
--Thomas Jefferson, 1786
Yes, this is an amazing thing to witness.
The greatest commission is unfolding before us. We have lots of work to do and it will not be easy. Indeed many will fail and fall away in fear. Others will be persecuted and killed for their faith.
The time of parables is quickly closing.
Matthew 13
There you go; why don't you order it and read it. In the interim, make sure you keep teaching the troops that sodomy is normal...I'm sure it's something you've personally embraced.
I still say the night the DNC took that vote to “put God back in the party platform,” and they voted NO, 3 times was a prophetic moment. But to then have that broadcast around the nation and globe solidified the hardening of their hearts.
Many compared that moment to Peter’s denial.
I compared it more to Joshua 24. That night the DNC had the opportunity to look around themselves and express gratitude to all that God has blessed our nation with. Instead they issued a denial and essentially bowed down before the government, a false god to say the least.
I said, ‘as for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord.’
Your mind I suppose, why not familiarize yourself with those terms...Tet, Bastogne, or Pusan. The welfare army won’t last forever. How is the daycare center doing? It’s a real force multiplier as I’m sure you realize. Look how much Hal Moore did with his...wait, do you know who Hale Moore is?
