Five Morgan Hill students sent home for wearing American flag T-shirts

Five male students were asked to leave Live Oak High School this morning because they were wearing American flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo. Officials at the school could not be reached for comment, but one student said administrators called the T-shirts "incendiary."
"They said we were starting a fight, we were fuel to the fire," said Matt Dariano, a sophomore.
The five teens were sitting at a table outside during their brunch break around 10:10 a.m. when Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez asked two boys to take off their American flag bandannas that they were wearing on their heads. In the same conversation, student Dominic Maciel said, Rodriguez told the group to "walk with him to the office."
Dariano called his mother Diana, who spread the word to the other parents and all arrived soon after to have a conference with Rodriguez and Principal Nick Boden.
Maciel said they were told they must turn their T-shirts inside-out or be sent home. Maciel said they were told it wouldn't be considered a suspension but Rodriguez did not want any fights to break out among Mexican students and the group showing their American pride.
The boys said they thought turning the American flag inside-out was disrespectful, so all went home.
Dariano said Rodriguez indicated to him that while other students were wearing American flags, the group of five was "the easiest target to cause trouble."
"We were not going to start a fight. We wanted to show our pride," Dariano said. "In light of all of this, there are people with painted flags in red, green and white and yet the boys can't wear the American flag," Diana said.
“It’s OK to wear Mexican flags and provoke “La Raza”, however, it’s NOT OK to wear OLD GLORY??”

Did any teacher remind the Mexican-American students that they are AMERICANS and live in AMERICA, not the Stinko De Mayo shithole called Mexico?

Then they probably haven’t yet changed his email address. As soon as they change it, people sending him mail will get bounced....unless they configure their filters to ‘eat’ messages sent to his old address, which is very unlikely.
For a higher up in a school like he is, changing an address isn’t a trivial thing. That would probably be a last resort. If it gets too bad, they will probably grant permissions, and add his box to his secretary’s mail client, having her sort and try to screen his mail for him until it blows over.
Maybe they could teach a little history at Morgan Hill High School. If not for the USA, the US Army, President Andrew Johnson, and the Monroe Doctrine there would be no Mexico.
Johnson forced the French out of Mexico by sending an army to the border and issuing an ultimatum. The French withdrew in 1867, and the government they supported quickly collapsed.
Today, in some circles, was Cinco de Ammo. Five cases or five boxes, as long as you buy them.
Hey, FF! I SOOOOOO hear what you are saying! My family moved to Los Altos, CA in ‘63, bought a house there for $32K on 1/2 acre near the little town - the next 20 years saw the place explode - all the hispanics lived in Mountain View, the real sticks..now you can’t get a shack there for under a million. I still have a good high school friend who lives in Willow Glen which was crap town in my day, she’s sitting on a million dollar house now. So I can’t believe these hispanics, both legal and illegal can live there. I visit (got the hell out of CA as soon as I could, live in VA now...)every now and then and see your state tax amount, as well as go to the mall and find myself a freakin’ minority there and wonder why it is people stay? I honestly think the state will be gone as we know it in a few years - that simple. My brother lives in Camarillo but I tell him constantly to get the hell out!
Good luck to you and consider VA as a new location - state taxes aren’t that great and we’re way too close to DC and we too have illegals (not many here but lots close to DC as well as muslim mosques) but lots of land left and living is still affordable...AND we just elected a true conservative executive branch! Yay!!!
But Obama re-declared the holiday as Cinqo de Quattro. So they are all in the wrong and are celebrating a day too late.
It is so confusing and difficult to keep up with the fairy tales coming from the White House and their constituents.
My sons have tons of U.S. flag t-shirts, too. U.S. pride shirts in particular are one son’s favorites. He wore one today, as a matter of fact.

I have lived in my home for about 11 years and it was nice when we first bought it but now they have literally built
us into to our neighborhood it is crap. We do have apartments behind our house and on any given day you can hear the Mexican music blasting I am actually embarassed
We had a police staion 4 houses down from my house across
the street but they decided it wanst big enough so they built a 35 million dollar police staion 1/2 mile from my house which actually cost 65 million. Now they sold the old police staion to the redevelopment agency which is our city coucil for $1.00 and they are building low low income and moderate income apartments. They dont care that they are over building for our neighborhood because they live on the West side in the expensive areas. It’s sad
