There are now modified photos of the COLB that broke here yesterday. The changes are so slight, that no one is noticing them.
The original one posted in breaking news:
One of the modified ones:
The changes are so subtle, you can barely tell which one you are looking at.
This modified one is showing jokes like: The Font of the Certificate=Schmutz (A Schmutz is a chump, as in you are a chump) #5733=The number of the Certificate, is code for : "Problem with Windows REGISTRY", a sly reference to your claim that Obama does not appear on the Hawaii Live Birth Registry. 47O44=Easiest of all. BOH's age=47 0=O (if you look close you can tell that that is a Schmutz Font "Oh" not "Zero") EF Lavender is ORGANIC DISH SOAP
The original one does not say EF Lavender, it says KF Lavender. The original one shows the number is: 47,644.

What I’m hoping is that this doesn’t turn out to be the right’s own version of the DSM (”Downing Street Memo”) hoax that the scumbags fell for so easily a few years ago.

Right, left, up, down, I hope they are caught for forgery.

You can blow it up and visualize a K or an E. The reality is once you blow up the portion you posted and look at all the letters, there's lots of them that can be interpreted lots of ways. For example, look at the year part of date in the line under E.F. Lavender. It is 1961, but when I blow up your image it looks much more like 1901 or even 1001. Hence the K that appears in that image is simply an E with lots of JPG artifacts around and on it.
This whole incident and thread was avoidable if someone hadn't saved a poor quality image early sunday morning. The higher quality images provided no possibility for these types of errors.

Do you have a link to the original PDF file? I can’t find it on the Orly site or I just don’t know where to look.

I never in my wildest dreams would have thought that ANYONE would be attempting forensic analysis on a copy of a copy of a copy that has been JPEGed, and trying to make any probative conclusions from it. But, that is exactly what happened last year, with the image of the purported Hawaiian document, by whatever name. All the snooping in the world can't prove a thing about the object photographed or scanned. You need the physical piece of paper to go about determining anything. People are clearly fascinated by this, and want to help. That desire to help is being sorely taken advantage of, by those who wish to smokescreen the whole thing. Either the original purported legal document is authentic, or it is not. The image of the original, purported legal document doesn't matter.I agree with you. All we have to go on with the Kenyan cert is a low-res photograph of a piece of paper. No one seems to be taking into consideration that it would be just as easy to create a fake certificate, print it out and age it by folding it, staining it, whatever, and then taking a picture of it. We just do not have enough information to go on regarding the Kenyan cert and all the speculation is for naught. If Orly doesn't have that document in her possession, she won't be able to get an authentication from this photograph.
Now the Broward cert, on the other hand, looked like a fraud to me. There was some craziness going on in the upper left hand corner with those numbers that did not look quite right to me. It looks like numbers from a different color scan were clipped and 'shopped onto this document. And I think PA Engineer's findings re: layering and folds are pretty damning.
I was also online when Technical Editor made his initial post and my BS radar went off. He just "happened" across some obscure website featuring some guy's Australian birth certificate when he did a Google search for "Kenyan birth certificates?" Seemed terribly convenient.
Patience, young grasshoppers. One cannot perpetuate a lie of this magnitude forever.

This kitau person didn’t post up their BC?
To: palmer
Yes I did notice that the other letters and numbers had been distorted with the enlargement. I am a novice at any of this and was not convinced there was a K where I only saw an E. That is why I attempted to prove to myself that it really was just an E. Then I saw the K in the enlargement and said whoa!

The Australian Birth Certificate was not stored on the Wayback machine, so there is no evidence that what we see now was what was on the internet back then. The Aussie is a fraud copied from a DU template to muddy the waters.

Polarik has claimed years professional experience with digital imaging, computers, etc. Professionally, no evidence of that, at all. Why are attacking this man? I read his forensic report on Obama's COLB, and it was a very good analysis.
Polarik has been a respected member of this community for some time. On the other hand, I've never heard of you.

Using O instead of 0 (zero) only enforces the authenticity of the document.
> (if you look close you can tell that that is a Schmutz Font Oh not Zero)
Anyone who was around earlier than 1965 knows that 0=O & O=0 was very common with typewriters. Most typewriters did not have a 1 or a 0 (zero), only the more expensive ones did. You were expected to use lower case L (l) for a one (1) and upper case o (O) for a zero (0).
Since this is the case here, it just weighs in as more evidence of authenticity.
VERY interesting!

e claim of E.F. Lavender being K.F. Lavender is not the case. Yes one does have a K and the other has an E. Try looking at it with a magnifying glass.
