Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

The Obama-Ayers connection has been presumed to be only that between Obama and William Ayers. However, there is a direct Obama-Ayers connection between Obama and Thomas G. Ayers (photo), father of William Ayers and the retired president and CEO of Commonwealth Edison, that predates the 2005 mortgage with Northern Trust.

According to the 2001 annual report of the Chicago Public Education Fund, Thomas Ayers and Barack Obama both served as members of the Fund’s Leadership Council.

Here it should be mentioned that until May 1994, when he had passed the Company’s mandatory retirement age of 75, and was therefore no longer up for re-election, Thomas G. Ayers served on the Finance Committee of the General Dynamics Corp. board of directors with Lester Crown, the largest share holder. It just so happens that Northern Trust was the trustee of the corporation’s Salaried Savings Plan and the Hourly Savings Plan overseen by the Committee.

Without question, both Tom Ayers and Lester Crown had long-standing relationships with Northern Trust and both of them had established relationships with Barack Obama that predated the 2005 loan from Northern Trust. Through William Ayers, Barack Obama had familiarity with Northern Trust dating from his time with the Woods Fund.

Which of these connections—or perhaps all of them combined—gave Sen. Obama the edge to acquire a $1.32 million mortgage when his financial history did not support it is unknown. At the very least, we do now know that Tony Rezko was not his only pathway to the world of high finance.

Update: It really is all in the Ayers family: “In addition to serving as the Annenberg Challenge’s first chairman, Obama served on the ‘Leadership Council’ of the Chicago Public Schools Education Fund, the Challenge’s successor organization. Obama served on this council alongside Ayers’s father, Thomas, and his brother, John, in 2001 and 2002, according to the Fund’s annual reports. Obama and John Ayers also served on the council in 2003 and 2004, according to the Fund’s annual reports. (Thomas Ayers, who died in 2007, had been CEO of Commonwealth Edison.)”

Background checks are not performed on those elected ...

Of course the executive branch (FBI) can't do background checks on members of Congress. The Constitutional separation of powers forbids it. From Article I:

Section 5. Each House shall be the judge of the elections, returns and qualifications of its own members, ...

As far as the President, the Constitution gives the power to the Congress when they count the electoral votes. What power would the FBI use to disqualify a candidate?

Who is Frank Marshall Davis?

The media have done only a fair-to-middlin’ job of creating the impression that Obama’s main personal and political contacts have been people other than Ayers and Dohrne and Rev. Wright and Tony Rezko, but if he has any other pals or close associates, I’ve never heard of them.

Does he have any?

On the other hand, the media has done an excellent job keeping Obama’s growing-up mentor and surrogate father Frank Marshall Davis in the closet. Obama may have learned his Alinsky from books, but he grew up at the feet of his red-diaper Mother... and Davis.

(As I understand the story, Obama’s Kenyan/Moslem father knocked up Obama’s single mother, married her in Hawaii to make the kid legit - despite having a wife or wives in Africa - and then hit the road.)

Those are the reasons that I am not convinced it’s paranoid to have Manchurian Candidate thoughts about Obama. Maybe it’s hysterical and fear-mongering - but who really knows this guy Obama, besides his wife? Who is in a position to deny it? Did a single person who has known him personally witness to his real self, to his character, at the Dem convention? Or anywhere else?

No. Isn’t that odd? Most 40+ year-olds have at least one colleague and friend who has known them and has worked with them over many years and can witness publicly to their character, habits, and core beliefs.

Here’s an Accuracy in Media piece on Frank Davis, with the AP’s efforts to minimize the relevance of the relationship. Davis’ reported homosexuality and pornographic avocation may be irrelevant, but his committment to Communism is not.

Thanks for the ping. You know, this Davis guy is a creepy dude. Definitely someone I wouldn’t allow my children to be around, much less mentored by (I wonder how much his grandparents really knew about Davis...). It’s not even so much about his communist ideology, which is bothersome, but more about his perverse nature, and pedophilia.

When one examines closely the people that Obama was mentored by, those who influenced his intellectual development, and moral views on the world, it become increasingly obvious that Obama is not clueless, and nor is he being hoodwinked by the people he has chosen to associate with as an adult (William Ayers, Rev. Wright, etc…).

It becomes glaringly obvious that Obama himself agrees with these people’s views not only on politics, but life in general. God help America if Obama is elected - it will certainly be a time we can tell our children about… Not that the world was saved as the “Obamessiah” claims, but that the free America we knew and loved died, and was run by a Communist Radical.
