Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

Also from that ruling, the date, place and board number:

In January of 1963, Collins registered with Selective Service System, Local Board Number 156 in New Orleans,

So 16 is LA, 156 is the local board, and 1944 is his birth year. Note how low the local board's selective service sequence -- 259 -- was in 1963.

That sequence doesn't even match this Obama one:

Selective Service Number 16-156-44-259.

I think it is safe to say at this point, this number is a forge.

David and Roccus found verbiage indicating this was back filed. BVW found the SSS coding that doesn't match the number provided by the ALLEGED SSS spokesman. I found a name that matches the ALLEGED SSS spokesman that indicates he wasn't a spokesman; but a graphics contractor.

One of the documents I was reading while you found that New Orleans sample number was a training packet to the states from the SSS. I don’t think you can apply for a drivers license without being registered for the draft from what I was reading. Does Obama drive?

I have the Google cache for that and it says the codes are:

4 California
16 Louisiana
28 Missouri, New Jersey, Mexico (only case of mulitple states same code???)
45 Washington State
49 DC
52 Hawaii

There’s no 23 listed. Somewhat confusing, but it is an Army document.

Be careful here. Remember, the SSS was closed down and then re-started. I'd bet the new set of bureaucrats wanted to do things “their way.” Not sure if the old numbers and system are the same as the new. When I was in the service we had serial numbers. Later, they went to SS numbers. The Gov’t is always changing things.....job security.

The easiest way for Obama and his campaign to put this to rest is to get an independent but conservative leaning journalist (Bill O'Reilly or Sean Hannity) to open the selective service check link, put in Obama's information (includes Social Security Number) and verify the information.

They can then announce this issue dead, without releasing the annointed one's SS#.

IMO, it is incumbant upon whatever controlling legal authority that is mandated to assure that the Constitutional requirements are met to demand that Obama prove that he meets those qualifications. In fact, it should be done for every candidate no matter what party.

Re the decoding of selective service numbers: The training manual referenced in my prior post 4989 was published in 2006.
