Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

The actual Honolulu Assessors site lists it as this. It is the Assessors office that keep the actual records of the size etc and then you pay property taxes based on that. Nextag is not always accurate

I assume the reason you sent the book is because the 72 hours is in it somewhere. Eventually, I probably should read the whole thing but do you know where the 72 hours quote is?

You can also get it by going to www.honolulupropertytaxassessor.com and then click on the property tax tab and put in the address if you want to see who owned it the last few years. Just click on the various tabs on the left when you get that page.

I have quickly read through the period in the book that should cover this...but regretfully, found no mention. That this information came from the book, was my assumption.

I notice that on the TexasDarlin site where the poster makes this statement, he/she has been asked to verify this. So far, I see no response.

I guess I now remember the post. Problem is that the evidence we would like to get from looking at the title files is who owned it in 1991--and 92; and the neighbors. If Obama lived there at all, or his parents did, someone in the neighborhood will know facts about where he was born and how he got to the US.

The local title companies will have files with the title information back to 91.

Ownership of the property, be it number 6035/6055/6085 during recent years may also point the finger at WHO ‘planted’ the birth announcement - remember, all we have seen of that is a snippet, no name of newspaper or date published (that I know of.)

What was the source of that little snip?

There could also be a link to that owner and the CoLB with the date stamp of June 2007 (IIRC) on the reverse.

My imagination is running riot...maybe that’s where Janice Okubo or Maya Soetoro-Ng live?

I believe it is 6085. If you look at the other addresses you can see that there is a 3 clearly, you can also see a 5 clearly. It is only this number 8 in 6085 that seems blurred.

Did you know that Madelyn Dunham worked for the escrow dept at Bank of Hawaii, better known as the ‘White’ bank and became manager in 1962? Think of the possibility of her knowing a ‘safe’ address to put down for the birth registration and announcement!

You raise an interesting point. She could have chosen an address where no one was in residence at the time...possibly a mortgage default.

First of all, they are the same image.

Secondly Techdude is right because I am also right, and I have the incontrovertible proof that this image is a forgery…

Are you saying with the above historical fact that you believe there is a prominent figure in Hawaii who is hiding the smoking gun because they want Hawaii to be the savior of the world like during that time?

That birth announcement was in the Sunday, August 13th 1961 edition of (drumroll please) “The Honolulu Advertiser”. I saw it at TD’s blog and went back to look at it again on a hunch because according to info the paper got their announcement details from Vital Stats and published them every Sunday. According to the woman who gave TD the announcement, each week hospitals would give birth info to Vital Stats and they in turn would provide a list to the paper. I still believe that either grandma or grandpa registered the birth which in turn generated the announcement in the paper!
