Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

If he was born in 62 or 63 he could have been celebrating his 11th birthday in 73 or 74 as he states there.

If Maya Soetoro-Ng has been given two separate birthdays has Barack Hussein Obama also been given two separate birthdays by Stanley Ann Dunham.

Also was he born out of the country like Maya.

If that certificate is a forgery, they would have to invent a number so it would appear valid. Since the numbers were almost certainly assigned sequentially (e.g. a September birth would have a higher number than an August birth), their phony number would have to fit into that sequence. The forms may have been pre-printed with the serial numbers, and used as needed. At the end of the year, the old forms would have been discarded and a new batch with the new year would have been used.

The form needed to have the embossed seal and signature for validity, the number by itself did not do that.

What is critical about the serial number is that it had to be unique.

By using a the black rectangle (under the meaningless claim of “privacy”), rather than a phony number, they avoid the possibility of someone appearing out of the woodwork clutching a valid certificate with the same number as Obama’s forgery.

That would sink his candidacy faster than the iceberg sank the Titanic.

I concur completely on year. Both certificates start with #151, which is consistent with 15=state code for Hawaii used by Census (these are assigned in alphabetical order).

However, currently under the Census FIPS code system, 1=county code for Hawaii, 3=Honolulu. http://www.epa.gov/enviro/html/codes/hi.html

Since both were born in Honolulu County, I would have expected to see 153, not 151. That said, I don’t know when FIPS numbering system began. It could be that in 1961, 1 denoted Honolulu rather than Hawaii County.

I assumed that the string of numbers following birth year simply was the recorded birth order in that year. That’s consistent with Jeremy Smith having a low number 151 1983 000976 for his January birth.

But 151 1930 010259 seems too high for Patricia DeCosta’s May 14 birth. In 2006, Honolulu only had 14,000 births,

Game over. Barack’s eligible to be President, with 100% certainty, no matter WHERE he is born.

Not so fast, the statutes have different rules for children of married parents than illegitimate children. Currently and in the year Obama was born ,the child of a single mom would be a citizen no matter where the child was born so long as the mom met the residency requirements (which for Obama would have been 1 year).

If they were married, both parents would have to meet certain requirements if the child were born outside of the US.

The second possibility I eliminated with the law is the date of birth being before the statehood of Hawaii. The law provides that retroactively that virtually everyone born in Hawaii is a citizen.

The 1790 law has changed a number of times and doesn’t resemble the original when Obama or McCann was born.

It may be that each hospital had a block of numbers assigned to it to be used as required. That would mean that there would be gaps in the numbering sequence. Or, there might be some other piece of information encoded in the six-digit number (male vs. female?) Or maybe they used all the numbers starting with 000001 and when they reached 999999, they started back at 000001 again. The year would certainly be different then, so the numbers would be unique.

I can't help myself, I'm laughing my head off here. We're dealing with people whose culture doesn't value things such as birthdays and marriage certificates...people who practice polygamy; obama's father had something like eight children to at least four different mothers. Stanly Ann Dunham was a flake who had two children to two different men of the exotic variety, whom she parted from when both children were barely a year old. The children must have grown up not knowing who they belonged to. Stanly Ann Dunham went back to Indonesia, but not to live with her estranged husband...
