Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
I believe I heard Sean say that the **police** alerted Felos that Bush was on his way. Definitely traitors in their midst.
Wow, my ears are ringing you were shouting so loud! I share your frustration, and to a large extent, your anger. I do feel we were mislead, especially by Jeb. I will continue to work the phones. Its all I can do right now, stuck here in Indiana. If I was outside the hospice, they'd have led me away in handcuffs, several times, by now.

That would make sense considering the quashed investigation attempts beginning in at least 2003.

Waist of time going in front of Greer with that! No more Greer! Everyone just needs to can it with him! He has proven he only wants Terri dead!
The thing that kills me is that when Jeb blinked, he allowed Greer to appropriate the powers and fighting forces of the executive branch. Jeb handed over the government to a Probate Judge! Golly, Osama could walk right in, couldn't he?
I mean, I'm pretty doggone puny, but I would have been mad enough to do it.
What on earth is he afraid of? He's got a brother who can give him a pardon!

This all stinks to high heaven. I think there is a BRIBE involved here somewhere. Somebody in the JUDICIAL SYSTEM is getting a Bribe to insist that the girl be killed.
The judge and lawyer seem to control the police, NOT the Governor of the state of Florida.
I believe he had he head of the DCF come to the mic and she said the DCF had that power.
Then Felos got Greer to issue a restraining order. After that, all the DCF did was appeal to higher FL courts. They never stepped forward to say again that they had the power. Perhaps they still thought so, but were afraid of being thrown in jail or precipitating violence if they tried. I suspect that.
Greer has become a dictator. Jeb and all of America need to face that. But as to Jeb, as weak as he does sound, I didn't hear him say he personally has the power. What I think is that even if he did, just like the DCF, he was afraid of what Greer's order would set off in the streets, and that Greer would seek to have him arrested, and would actually get away with it.
Thus my point...Jeb and everyone need to understand that Greer is a frankenstein monster. Somebody's gotta stop him sometime, somehow.

That's pretty much what I suspected. Jeb was told the police would defy him. Which is all the more reason to follow through. At that point he should have gone into "now-it's-personal" mode. At that point, they're not just murdering Terri, they're also defying legitimate authority; it's an insurrection.

Or several people: not only Michael and Felos, but Greer, the appeals courts, the DCF, the Pinellas Park Police Dept., the Hospice, the Hospice director, the nurses, the Attorney General, et al. It's like they're all in on it.
Correct. In the absense of a written directive or other tangible self-authenticating means of expression (e.g. video of spoken declaration, etc.) the default must be to assume life.
Courts can only issue opinions. They can't enforce them. At least, that's the way it's supposed to be, under the separation of powers our Founders set in place.
What we have here is Judge Greer acting as judiciary, legislature, and executive. Might as well crown him king!
