Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
Thank you sooooo much for calling the Gibbs Law Firm, Lauren.
You talked to an actual person--maybe this will make a difference in Terri's case!!!
HERE'S HOPING!
amen
Okay, that does it! I will never again drink coffee while reading FR! LOL!
Stop trying to hurt this long standing thread that is dedicated to supporting Terri, sharing info and actively working to save her life. I mean it.>>>
You mean it. Whatever that means.
I have been on many threads posting my support for Terri.
I was attacked by another member repeatedly.
Sickening to see freepers eat their own.
Michael would not have been able to do that with a written directive?
I just got online. Is this true, the majority of the people want her to be fed?
I thought the polls were against us.
Pray for Terri and her parents.
No thank you.
Help me out here folks. Our commander and Chief has the authority to send troops to a foreign soil, that is threatening our Country's safety , and yet is powerless in saving a single, simple, humble woman from the clutches of a corrupt and lawless judge in our own land?? I am struggling today with these issues.
Snort, giggle.....thank you so much for a much needed chortle.

The days of being able to hide are all ovah! Everything's all out there on the net, and politicians STILL DON'T GET IT!
You mean only to prove that you DON'T want life support. There is no way everyone is going to have a written directive - gosh, they would have to issue it with SS # at birth to ensure that.
remember the polls said Kerry won! ;-)

Scientologist-owned EarthLink Network Inc. announced $15 million of private financing this week to allow it to finish this year. From Reuters:
"The lead investor in the private placement was Soros Fund Management LLC through its Quantum Industrial Partners LDC, which purchased $5 million of common stock in the offering. Additional investors included existing shareholders, certain members of EarthLink's board of directors and management. Proceeds from the offering will enable EarthLink to continue expanding its operations as it continues to strive toward profitability.
"Charles (Garry) Betty, president and CEO of EarthLink added, 'This private financing demonstrates the confidence investors have in EarthLink's business model, and it provides capital to continue to fund EarthLink's growth.' During the past three quarters, EarthLink has decreased its net loss each quarter, while increasing revenue 88 percent to $18.8 million in the second quarter of 1997."
"Exactly, the polls are showing that the majority in the US are not down with this! JEB's political career is over!"
Yes, I think if JEB was considering running for office again, he might as well not. He is battered by both sides and this one event has taken care of it.
President Bush was supposed to be a political victim also. If you recall, Terri would have been killed in 2003 when the heat of the 2004 election began.
Representatives and Senators who supported Terri will pay a price, too. Soros has a plan and has had it in play for some time.
Did anyone just see Fox? Bonnie Erbe is being interviewed and is against Medicaid paying for Terri. Among other things, she mentioned that TERRI IS AND HAS BEEN ON PAIN MEDICATION. With the medical records sealed, this is news.

I called the first number.
Despite CONSISTENT PUBLIC OPINION POLLS against the War in Iraq and continued presence there, the President says he knows better, and disregarded that majority, moving ahead.
But somehow he and Governor Bush cannot apply that same "Harry Truman, Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan" type fortitude, despite what polls say, take Executive actions, to save a little girl that probably weighs less then 90 pounds, from death by starvation.
It is "End of Life Choices" and "Compassion in Dying" - actually a unification of the two: "Compassion and Choices"
However, their URL is still the goold old death mill

I hear you. Vaya con Dios, especially over the next few days.
