Fox news just reported there are questions now about where Rassmann actually was. He said he was on Kerry's boat when it got ambushed, but Kerry's web site says Rassmann was on the boat behind his. Just more questions about kerry's seemingly faulty memory.

I don't think Teh-tay-zah was on the boat, but under the circumstances, one can't be too sure. On Capital Report tonight they showed a clip of Teh-ray-zah in New Mexico waving from the back of a train and shouting, "Hello, Arizona.!" Someone whispered in her ear and then she said, "Well, we're going to Arizona."

The version I have heard was Kerry fled the scene when the mine went off and later when he was sure the firing had stopped went back and picked up his guy only seconds before another boat, one that didn't chicken out and stayed on the scene, would have done anyway.

I seldom get enraged over rat behavior anymore but trying to destroy O' Neil last night really did it.

I think that's the Unfit for Command account.. Rassmussen was on Kerry's boat and fell overboard when Kerry fled.

Has anyone ever answered the questions:
Why is Kerry's Bronze Star citation signed by John Lehman who was the Secretary of the Navy in the early 80's?
Was the citation rewritten or reissued, 20 years after the action? Why?
On a previous thread we compared the signature on that citation to other documents signed by Lehman, there is no doubt it is his. I have never seen this addressed beyond FreeRepublic.

My biggest fear is that they get so many accounts out there of f'ings exploits in Nam that nothing gets any traction, thank God we have the Swifties, they can prevent that.

Thurlow and the Swifites really need to hammer home that Kerry refused to fund the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan That's the job of the President's campaign and the RNC. Kerry's "war record"is an issue for the SwitBoat Veterans for Truth to fight. Kerry's treasonous testimony before Fulbright's committee is all of us Vietnam veterans' fight.

Why is Kerry's Bronze Star citation signed by John Lehman who was the Secretary of the Navy in the early 80's? Thre are two citation letters for each award. One signed by Zumwalt, the other by Lehman (four citations in all, covering two awards).
The best explanation is that Kerry really did throw his medals away, and asked for, and got them back.
Kerry has never answered the question. This is what the "medals vs. ribbons" kerfluffle was all about, a few months ago.
A trivial issue, compared with lying to get the awards in the first place -- which is what the Swities are shouting from the rooftops!!

Excellent thread I should have known you guys would be right on top of that and yes it had to be a setup. As a matter of fact after watching excerpts of Corporal Q Ball and Novak it's got to be major DNC talking point--making sure the swifties do not get to even talk on as many shows as possible, the rats are in a scurry.

Why is Kerry's Bronze Star citation signed by John Lehman who was the Secretary of the Navy in the early 80's? CORRECTION --- One of the Silver Star citations is signed by Hoagland, not Zumwalt

How dare you call a war hero's courrage and honesty in to question??!! Funny, that didn't help Ollie North much, did it? Oh, I forgot, he's an evil conservative...never mind.

That's an amazingly fair interview considering it was on CNN. Thanks for posting it.

Some very heroic feats were performed that day. Unfortunately only one of them was deemed worthy of a medal. You imply that sKerry's actions that day were heroic. What is heroic about temporarily abandoning your team mates and pulling someone out of the water? Fabricating a story to sound heroic in order to receive a Bronze Star and Purple Heart is definitely non-heroic.
