The following statement from Swift Boat Veterans for Truth concerns an article appearing in morning edition of the Boston Globe:
"Viet Vet Captain George Elliott describes an article appearing in todays edition of the Boston Globe by Mike Kranish as extremely inaccurate and highly misstating his actual views. He reaffirms his statement in the current advertisement paid for by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, Captain Elliott reaffirms his affidavit in support of that advertisement, and he reaffirms his request that he ad be played.
Additional documentation will follow.
The article by Mr. Kranish is particularly surprising given page 102 of Mr. Kranishs own book quoting John Kerry as acknowledging that he killed a single, wounded, fleeing Viet Cong soldier whom he was afraid would turn around.
Swift Boat Veterans for Truth has more than 250 supporters who are revealing first hand, eyewitness accounts of numerous incidents concerning John Kerrys military service record. The organization will continue to discuss much of what John Kerry has reported as fact concerning his four-month tour of duty in Vietnam.
END
Rush is all over this story on his radio show. The author of the Globe piece is in the Kerry camp, and has/is writing biographies of the junior Senator from Mass and the Kerry/Edwards campaign.
I recommend that video be sent to every single person we can possibly think of.
Thank GOD President Bush was in the White House when this happened and all the days that followed. Those who are slandering him now have very short term memories.
I think everyone already has
Which is why the Kerry Camp is storing up on their Depends
But hopefully the rest of the vets, and any other individual who challenges Kerry's, or any other democratic candidate's, bona fides, will understand there is no straw so slim that the press won't grab it.
Talking to a reporter is like being cross examined by a prosecutor. Your testimony cannot reveal the slightest hesitation.
I guess it's the top secret "curve bullet"...you just shoot to the side of the target, then the bullet turns 90 degrees and gets 'em. Most effective when aimed at the right side of the target, because the bullet is only accurate after making a hard, left turn.
I guess you have heard about the Rush claims that Crainish, the author of the article regarding the recanting of the charges against Kerry, is a paid Kerry campaign operative, working also for the Boston Globe.
They are running out of ammo.
Keep up the pressure, take trench by trench, and overrun their base with this Swift Boats thing. Great to watch...even greater to contribute $$$ to and buy the book when it comes out on Monday.
LOL, I posted before clicking on the link.
He is being paid by the Kerry campaign, WHILE writing (as a "REPORTER") for the paper!

I thought that some of these veterans were the same men in the photograph that Kerry used on his own web site to illustrate his service record. So what now? "They were my band of brothers before they weren't"? It occurred to me today how revolting it is that Kerry thinks a vulgar Whoopi Goldberg is "the heart and soul of America," yet sends his legal "goons" (to use a word Kerry knows) to intimidate and insult these veterans. I don't understand... if we can't criticize Kerry, because he's a veteran, then why does the media think it is okay to insult these men, who are veterans as well (and many, I suspect, of longer service than Kerry)? As for this continued complaint that the Swift Boat vets are "politically motivated"... when it comes to politics, Kerry has a lot more to gain than they do! They aren't running for anything, they are putting their reputations and peace of mind on the line... for what? Not for their own personal gain, like Kerry. After all, Kerry is only bringing up his Vietnam service record to help himself politically. The hypocrisy is astounding... the Swift Boat vets can't be trusted because they have "political motivations," but Kerry is immune to political motivations? His whole life is organized around political gain!
Millions have heard this clip. I mean, it's been repeated on "Meet the Press" ad infinitum.
What is stopping this story from seeping into the consciousness of the "swing" voter?
I have to be honest, I'm getting a headache just thinking about it.
Maybe it was one of Arlen Specter's magic bullets.
Can Elliot sue Krainish?
I think we should all hire Edwards to bring a class action suit against the Boston Globe and that reporter for making us all age 10 years today!
If McCain is smart .. he'll stay out of this
This is between Kerry and the men that served with him
bump for when I get home
bump to the top
