They are running out of ammo.
Keep up the pressure, take trench by trench, and overrun their base with this Swift Boats thing. Great to watch...even greater to contribute $$$ to and buy the book when it comes out on Monday.
If McCain is smart .. he'll stay out of this
This is between Kerry and the men that served with him
But after he was released from the Hanoi Hilton in 1973, McCain publicly complained that testimony by Kerry and others before J. William Fulbright's Senate Foreign Relations Committee was "the most effective propaganda [my North Vietnamese captors] had to use against us."
"They used Senator Fulbright a great deal," McCain wrote in the May 14, 1973, issue of U.S. News & World Report. While he was languishing in a North Vietnamese prison cell, Kerry was telling the Fulbright committee that U.S. soldiers were committing war crimes in Vietnam as a matter of course.
Sen. Ted Kennedy, a key Kerry presidential backer, was "quoted again and again" by jailers at the Hanoi Hilton, McCain said.
I called McCain's Tucson office (where I live) yesterday morning. Nice young woman listened and I did ask if she'd received other calls as I noticed the line had been busy. She'd received four up to that point and it was just after 10am local time yesterday morning. I am quite confident McCain was inundated with outraged calls at all of his offices. We shall see, but I think any more comments from him will refrain from using words about these vets like "dishonest".
LOL... McCain IS old and uninteresting ;0)
Not only running out of ammo, but I'd say this round fired out of their Crainish launcher misfired and hit Kerry in the arse again!
He spoke well, he looked good, he came across as sincere and genuine and was well received by Steve, ED, etc.
He was on about 8:30.
In Kerry's OWN words , he couldn't even THINK for 40 minutes after the planes hit the WTC. He sat at a table with some other Senators and none of them could THINK. They didn't move until the Pentagon was hit and the White House and Congress were evacuated.
