DISNEY/MIRAMAX CONTACT INFO! Financing Michael Moore's 2004 "Attack Film" on Bush is UNACCEPTABLE!

Michael Moore is trying to tie Bush to bin Laden! His film is scheduled to be released in 2004, in the middle of the campaign! And Disney's Miramax is reportedly financing this hit piece!

Of course we must boycott Disney and Miramax. But letters (hard copy ones, ones they have to hold in their hands and look at) are another effective way of getting the message out that America doesn't want Michael Moore's Bush-bashing films in their marketplace!!

Here are some contact numbers and street addresses to mail your letters to.

Please remember: the person who answers the phone may have NO IDEA what you're talking about...they're mainly receptionists and communication specialists who're trained to forward messages and calls. Don't abuse them. And don't abuse the reader(s) of your letters! But be firm and matter of fact--you do not think this decision is wise.

If you're a stockholder, maybe you'll want to sell your stock. If you're a parent, maybe you won't rush out to buy "Treasure Island" for your kid. (Not that you would anyway! ha ha) If you're a grandparent, maybe you won't take the grandkids to DisneyWorld after all. Whatever. Disney's tentacles are so long and reach so far I cannot imagine anyone not having some connection to the company. Even ABC is owned by Disney.

Remember: Disney's subsidiary MIRAMAX is financing the movie, so you can contact BOTH companies. The head of Miramax is a guy named Harvey Weinstein.

The thing we need to do rather than contacting Disney ourselves is look to our friends in the Media to expose Disney for this! Contacting Disney won't hurt, but public embarrassment from the likes of Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity, Liddy, and others will certainly hit Disney over the head with a baseball bat like they need...

If you are a stockholder or your 401(k) owns Disney, send a snotty note to Investor Relations IIRC, it is hard to find, but start at Yahoo, Finance. Type in "DIS" and hit enter. You'll get a current price quote and to the right will be a list of items that starts with "Chart." A couple of words over will be "Profile." That page should have several email links including "Investor Relations."

Be straightforward, don't lie or threaten, simply say something like "support of Moore will, in the lomg run, do great financial damage to our company and I, therefore, urge our Board to prohibit an American compant like ours from any dealings with someone who hates the American system as Moore clearly does."

Personally..I WANT Moore to make this film..Next up, all the "interviews", from coast to coast; all time slots. He'll out himself and this film will tank. Let him do it...The tide is quickly turning on the venomous types; ala Moore.

Quite honestly, this country is "chest thumping". We kicked two countries asses in break neck speed. Moore releasing this at the particular time he is releasing it will only help us. Common folks will look at it as tin foil stuff. Nothing more. The only believers will be the one's who will never vote for anything without a "D" next to it's name at the polls anyways..

Personally, I hope that fat bastard makes an anti-Bush movie. We will have plenty of time to be fully prepared to fire back, and create a backlash. The Conservative media (Rush, Hannity, and to some extent Fox) need to be armed to the teeth with ammo on how this supposed populist lives an opulent Park Avenue life. HIs hypocrisy must be exposed.
