Larry Elder already has a Michael Moore doc in the works. Let's hope it sees the light of day.

Do you think anyone that's sentient is oblivious to Moore's politics?

Your post is not worthy of response. You obviously do not understand the impact "Bowling for Columbine" had, nor how Moore's lies and distortions have gotten next to zero scruitiny in the media. I wont waste my time replying further.

Here is the problem...even though we all know Moore is a big fat liar (literally and figuratively) a great part of the American public will take it as gospel, just because they saw it on TV or in a movie...You know...the people who only read the local newspapers and watch ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and are convinced that these programs/publications are fair and balanced. Those people who do not seek out the truth for themselves will just accept this bunk. AND DISNEY HAS ENOUGH MONEY TO BROADCAST THE HIT FILM FAR AND WIDE...thus giving the liberals opportunity to use it.

Disney needs to know that their involvement with Michael Moore will cost them much, much more than it will make them.

Better yet, ignore him.....

Maybe if sick weirdos like M. Moore and his ilk had not been ignored by those of right mind, they would not have been able to propagandize as much.

While the best have lack all conviction."

While I agree there is no connection, I remember reading something about legitimate business contacts between Osama's father and Bush Sr. I've seen liberals making a big deal about this, but from what it seems, Osama's father owned one of the largest construction companies in Saudi...and it was standard business. If this is true, you know Michael Moore will distort the facts.

I think it is important to find out what these interests where so we can combat the accusations that Moore will imply. Does anyone have any information on this connection? Aside from the fact that Osama was dis-owned from his father and excommunicated from Saudi Arabia, I'd like to know what Moore has in his playbook. It's only reasonable to assume that this country would do business with the leading businessmen of Saudi Arabia. And if it turns out that Osama's father was one of these businessmen, that in no way supports a link to Osama and his terrorist network. Unfortunately, that won't stop MM from making a tenuous connection for political points.

It was a smart move for Mel Gibson to back out out of having his production company handle the next piece of trash from that lunatic Michael Moore. The sad part is, Walt Disney was a big time conservative and a loyal Republican. He must be turning over in his grave at this outrageous alliance.

Post-"Bowling", we re-gained control of the Senate, now control all 3 branches of the government, still have our 2nd amendment rights, are enjoying what, IMO, is a bit less liberalized media, have garnered 70% of public opinion in favor of our mid-east policy...and all THAT without resorting to actions easily characterized as repression of free speech. I think I'll allow the leftists and Mr. Moore their little corner of the room...apparently nobody is listening anyway...

your right about Disney's knowing we hate them, thinking of the gay-day or whatever it is, but in the post 9-11 roll the country is on may just be the edge we need

"Michael Moore is trying to tie Bush to bin Laden! His film is scheduled to be released in 2004, in the middle of the campaign! And Disney's Miramax is reportedly financing this hit piece!"

Let the idiot make his film. Let him show it during the campaign. It's not like this is a director acclaimed for previous work. The film will flop and the liberals will look foolish yet again.

Why are we worried about Michael Moore? Were it not for his embarrassing 15 minutes of fame last month no one would know who he is. He's a zero, his films are a zero, and everyone knows it.

Let's all calm down and move on to threats with some semblance of credibility....

exactly right. Let Michael Moore make his stupid movie. The guy is so ridiculous, not to mention unattractive, that he is singlehandedly making it OK to be a Republican in Hollywood. This movie, if it is ever made, will be a net vote-getter for Bush.

"Rational thought (and subsequent disdain)handles the Michael Moore's of this world quite nicely thank you very much. Do you think anyone that's sentient is oblivious to Moore's politics? Frankly, your hysteria is more thought provoking than any of Moore's pap."

I agree. Moore is a non-factor who isn't worthy of anyone's time. Reacting to this latest attempt at hype is playing right into his hands. To those who disagree I ask this: Had you heard of Michael Moore before the latest awards ceremony?

This guy's 15 minutes are up. Let him now pass into the atmosphere like so much bovine flatulence....

"You can't reason with 'em, you can't bargain with 'em, and they won't stop, EVER...."

One of my favorite lines..I use on FR every once in a while

It's what they do..
..it's all they do..
..and they won't stop..
EVER!!

Probably make a good tag line.
