HELP KEEP THE LIGHTS ON: First Quarter '03 FReepathon Now Underway .. Thread 6
.... ...
The Free Republic first quarter '03 FReepathon is now underway!
Our goal for this fundraiser is the same as last quarter: $65,000. We have about $4,000 per month coming in from monthly donors so we will need to raise approx $53,000 to hit the target.
The funds raised through these fundraisers are used to pay our operating costs. Free Republic operates on an approximate $260,000 annual budget (breakdown here) and all funds are provided by donations from FReepers and Lurkers.
Thank you all very much for your continued support.
P.S. We are planning to make FreeRepublic.com email addresses available as a thank you to all who donate at least once per year. This new feature should be ready to go within a few days. We will post a notice and a link for donors to setup their FR email address as soon as it's ready.
Donate to FR and help us keep the lights on for the best political forum on the NET!

Ahhh....the joys of motherhood. When I recall those days of yore, when I had three little stair steps, it makes me....makes me....appreciate old age.

If one Freeper makes a monthly of $200, that's it? So if 20 Freepers make $200 donations for a total of $4,000 you don't contribute except for the first one? Jeez, that's no fun! ;>))

GREAT comeback. It IS warm here.
I'm going to go for awhile.....I've pinged the California list to a whole LOT of threads...I "may" be needing a place to live, when they all get home from work and find 'em.
Gulp.

Ha! I remember those days of counting down the minutes.
Enjoy it while it lasts. They're off and running before you can blink.
My 17 year old is off to pick up Chinese food and go to a friends house. No school tomorrow or Friday. The semester ended today.
My 19 year old just called and asked if she and her boyfriend could stop and bring home dinner. I cooked the last three nights and he was here every night so I guess they appreciate it and turn about is fair play.
Hubby's working late and they're bringing in food there.
I do miss those nights of little cut up pieces of ham and cubed carrots and peas though. Spaghetti-o's all over the face and tippy cups that never seem to stop them from spilling anyway.
I guess what I'm saying is I loved all of it. From then to now. Kids are our gifts to the world and to ourselves.
But when it's only 9 minutes and 48 seconds to bedtime, well that's a blessing in itself ;)

LOL! I'm trying to be fun. I'm a fun girl, really!
Lucky for me I pay all the bills so hubby never sees the CC bills. Not that he would care.
He plays hockey four nights a week. He's a regular hockey puck. He says that FR is my hockey. I think the whole money thing all comes out pretty even at the end of the day :)
