HELP KEEP THE LIGHTS ON: First Quarter '03 FReepathon Now Underway .. Thread 6

.... ...
The Free Republic first quarter '03 FReepathon is now underway!

Our goal for this fundraiser is the same as last quarter: $65,000. We have about $4,000 per month coming in from monthly donors so we will need to raise approx $53,000 to hit the target.
The funds raised through these fundraisers are used to pay our operating costs. Free Republic operates on an approximate $260,000 annual budget (breakdown here) and all funds are provided by donations from FReepers and Lurkers.

Thank you all very much for your continued support.
P.S. We are planning to make FreeRepublic.com email addresses available as a thank you to all who donate at least once per year. This new feature should be ready to go within a few days. We will post a notice and a link for donors to setup their FR email address as soon as it's ready.
Donate to FR and help us keep the lights on for the best political forum on the NET!

Florida and Texas aren't slouches, either!

I was so excited about my "accomplishment," I wrote your name wrong in my last reply. Looks like an acronym.

I never had anything in color before!

I'm out of here. Time to feed my fly fishing addiction.

Thanks to the wonder of the new weather urls I have been watching a rainstorm head from my area east.

It is now over the American River area east of Sacramento.

By the time I will get there the storm should be up in Sierra Wasp's backyard so he can rant about it.

Tommorrow will be baby sitting with the Grand Kids. So hopefully by Thursday, this latest Freepathon Baby will have been delivered and put in its bed.

Keep up the great work!

Clever of Saddam to put the only black Iraqi soldier up front for the "anti-war and racism" socialist peaceniks who, w/help from the international socialist press, were able to give the wafflers on the UN Security Council - France, Germany and China - the excuse to say "NO" to the US and Britain in the war on terrorism and "YES" to "business as usual", appeasement of tyrants and terrorists with WMDs.

Lurkers, now's your time to take a stand. Support Free Republic! What can you buy for $5.00 a month that matters more than a voice for a free America in a country where the mainstream press now owns our hometown papers and the "will of the people" is being ignored while the press continues to undermine the President of the United States during wartime for partisan political purposes?
