First Quarter '03 FReepathon Now Underway .. Thread 4
.... ...
The Free Republic first quarter '03 FReepathon is now underway!
Our goal for this fundraiser is the same as last quarter: $65,000. We have about $4,000 per month coming in from monthly donors so we will need to raise approx $53,000 to hit the target.
The funds raised through these fundraisers are used to pay our operating costs. Free Republic operates on an approximate $260,000 annual budget (breakdown here) and all funds are provided by donations from FReepers and Lurkers.
Thank you all very much for your continued support.
P.S. We are planning to make FreeRepublic.com email addresses available as a thank you to all who donate at least once per year. This new feature should be ready to go within a few days. We will post a notice and a link for donors to setup their FR email address as soon as it's ready.
Donate to FR and help us keep the lights on for the best political forum on the NET!

Thanks posting this reminder about how Free Republic is not just a news junky hangout.
A lot of great conservative activities come about thanks to Free Republic.
I can remember those dark and depressing days when the Goron tried to steal that election.
When I saw what our DC Freepers were doing in active protests, I woke up and shook off my depression and got very involved. My news came for Free Republic, and about 3 times a day that news went out to my private email list.
My friends, relatives and former business associates had no idea about was happening because of the news blackout on FR's great Freepers in DC. The news of those brave Freepers got a lot of the people on my list involved.

Kristinn Taylor, a co-leader of Free Republic, a conservative news and activism Web site that helped organize the event, said that 200 to 400 people were expected to turn out for the counter-protest, which is also supported by the D.C. chapter of MOVEOUT (Marines and Other Veterans Engaging Outrageous Un-American Traitors). Thank God for the DC Freepers and all the Patriots at the rally
I'm watching these terrorists loving liberal nit wits on -Span and I can't explain how TICK OFF I AM right now

Oh Lord, why did I turn on C-Span? Money match for W.Va.donations up to $40, or $40 for two monthlies of $10 from Delaware, which ever comes first. Come on West Virginia and Delaware!

I've restricted saturation bombing to about 8 threads, all of them involving the anti-war protester rallies and the Patriots Rally. I promised I won't go "Bill Simon" on folks as one of my New Year's resolutions. That is one of the hardest resolutions to keep, BTW. LOL ;-)

This picture of a PO ed Marine who supports our President in the mess in DC re the protests, would make a great picture for one of our Freeper ads.

E-mail C-span.
Those "peaceniks" sound so tolerant, don't they? "YOU OWE ME!" Ingrates.
Freepers surprised the leftist "establishment" by daring to stand up for OUR rights during election 2000. WE learned something, too, that we can inspire others and get the truth out in spite of the powerful leftist newsmedia.
Those lessons helped Florida Freepers take out the DNC war machine - through our own research and grassroots e-mailing efforts. After the Nov. elections - AP, Gannett and perky Katie can go jump in the lake.
