Survey of 2,500 Likely Voters was conducted September 30, October 1 and 4-6, 2020 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 2 percentage points.
Ok so let’s face it, what he said is is not as bad but Trump is losing.
So many things, like going to a debate and never talking directly to the viewers. The president has been badly advised.
Can you even believe no one told him to address the voters, not to just argue with Biden and Wallace?
And after the debate, spokespeople should have been on every channel hammering awful things and lies said by Biden. But they didn’t.
Biden has been in complete, total control of the airwaves for over a month now. That does have an impact when your opponent is sharing a message with voters and you are sharing zero message with them. Races can be won or lost in September.
I know a Bernie Boy that confided he’ll likely vote Trump. His wife would murder him if she found out.
Trump isn't winning the electoral college is he's down 12 points nationally. Two or three points is about the most any candidate could be beyond in the national poll and win in the electoral college.
It's painfully obvious that he is getting the blame for not taking Covid-19 seriously after his diagnosis.
I just hope there is enough time to get the focus back on other issues, including what horrible President Biden would be.

Yeah and so did Hillary. Lies are lies, and Rasmussen was a liar in 2016, and is still a liar in 2020.
The people who cut the check to Rasmussen and said these are the results we want. You get what you pay for or you don't cut the check.

If you think about it, swaying 5 out of a hundred people causes a 10 point deficit. With a sincere, direct, effective talk to the voters this can be reversed.
But I’m not sure the president is prepared to do it.

He shouldn't have taken the joyride after being admitted to the hospital. It reinforced the perception that he hasn't been taking the virus seriously enough.

I don’t think Trump helped himself in the debate. Still time to correct things. But, I think he needs a minor course correction. He needs to sound just a BUT less crazy.

Trump 2020 in a landslide.
Biden has been running one ad after another with that kind of messaging with zero response from the Trump campaign. Biden has painted a picture of himself as strong, competent, man of vision and accomplishment, etc. - whereas the message is that Trump has done absolutely nothing and indeed sewn chaos, etc. That's what people will believe when that is the only message they get. Campaign advertising is very effective - especially when there is no competing advertising.
