Total vanity, but we will get thru this.
My wife will not even kiss me....But my dog will!
Its been like 12 days and already everyone is coming unglued.... But I understand the sentiment...
Yes, shake hands with red hats and lapels with red, white and blue. Start using swamp spray for all other creatures, including MSM....
Earlier this evening, my shepherd stuck his tongue in my mouth. He’s very clumsy like that.
There is no social distancing with canines.
There’s a part of the old world I don’t want to go back to. There were certain cultures back when we lived in the Bay Area who insisted on invading my personal space. They truly believe their space took priority over mine. I hate what’s happen to our country because of COVID-19, but I am grateful not to be back in the Bay Area and having to deal with these people. I can imagine they are struggling with social distancing.
News flash: You can shake hands *now.* “Left, please meet right.”
I don’t. Go to a public restroom and observe how many people don’t wash their hands.
We will get through it and be able to shake hands again. Only instead of a handshake being a sign of admiration and respect, it will mean I’m trying to kill you and all those you know.
... a little late Saturday night gallows humor.
Seriously though, when push comes to shove not many have died relatively speaking. And we have the right man in charge and those advising him. It’s going to be an optimistic week coming up.
I visited the Bay area, and for the most part beautiful scenery but ugly and angry people. What does what part beauty make people angry?
"Dear Old Donegal" (youtube song link) ("Shake hands with your uncle, Mike, me boy,...") |
Introverts: “Nah. We good.”
Definitely angry and very self-centered people. Very stressed people dealing with careers and the cost of living there. And some of the most bigoted people in this country. I miss the weather (I lived in California for 59+ years), but I don’t miss the people.
Lived there for 12. I go back to visit family 3 times a year. I too miss the weather and ocean. But theres nothing like Sweet Home Alabama.
Gee I remember my father & grandfather telling me that they had wished the same things 12 days after landing in a combat zone in WWII. Well actually that’s a lie, neither of them would hardly ever talk to me about the war, probably because it was that unpleasant. I’m sure we will all be incapable of talking about this virus with our children & grandchildren when they ask us about this.
I want a world without useless vanities. Never like shaking hands. Ever been in a mens restroom. If you had, you wouldnt want to shake hands.
