The CBS News Battleground Tracker poll shows that Donald Trump keeps a large lead in South Carolina, bolstered by support from conservatives and also from evangelical voters, who make up a large share of the electorate here.

I agree. I’m not a Trump fan, but the way the crowd is stacked against him is BS. That’s crap the democrats do to the Republicans every debate—it’s disgusting.
But why doesn’t Trump just demand more tickets or he won’t show up?
It wasn’t stack against him so much as FOR establishment. When Cruz rubio were going at it, they CHEERED amnesty. There you go.
The audience is stacked against anyone but Bush or maybe Rubio. These debates feel like the movie Groundhog Day! Let the candidates present themselves to voters in their own meetings or rallies and cut the GOPe crap. I think they continue debates because Bush can’t get more than 20 people like Graham to show up for him.
One candidate did boycott only to get blasted on here by some. So much for standing up to these moderators and the RNC.
I do agree with you though.
The vitriolic hatred of Donald Trump that you see on here is fueled by intense jealousy of him. Trump’s very wealthy, powerful and does whatever he wants, whenever he wants to do it.
Low IQ nouthbreathers, whose deepest thoughts consist of “What’s for lunch?” and “Am I going to miss ‘The Price Is Right’?” can’t fathom a person who calls their own shots and hate him for it.
Lime green envy, period.
That was back when there was actually substance debated. It is full-contact gladiatorial combat these days, at least that is the goal. The cheering audience is just bonus for the debate organizers. It is a shame.
Hey, what you got against “used car salesmen?” They look like saints compared to the slime seen last night and earlier....just saying...
By the way, this should not be in breaking news. It abuses the sidebar.
Looks like the two cbs low brow monitors are fired today, rofl.
I don’t mind an audience as long as they behave like adults in a dignified manner.
For example, it’s OK to applaud when a candidate gives an answer you strongly agree with. But the constant yelping and “woo-hooing” after every answer a favorite candidate gives is annoying and reminds me of High School graduation ceremonies in recent years that are ruined by over-zealous family and “fans” of certain graduates who seem to just want to out-cheer the other grad’s “fan’s.”
People do not want to be confrontational. the Media and fox lie about this man because he is dethroning their little empire so people buy their slander and are afraid to say they are for him. But they will vote for him because he is our last chance to save this country. As the victories mount, more will feel comfortable in announcing their support. It then becomes a TSUNAMI.
Oh Noes! I've been outed. Now what do I do? I have a smug look on my face every time I cash the check from Mr. Soros.
“There should be no audience. Itâs not a necessity. It was disgusting.”
I agree. Last night was the first time I thought the audience was a pain. They didn’t cheer at the end, they were off sometimes, just terrible.
As long as Jeb keeps falling and Trump keeps rising, all is right in the world.
quit your bitching. some of the crap that trump spewed last night would have been booed by any sane South Carolinian.
CBS takes turns trashing any leading Republican
CBS is for any Leftist to win.
Shlonged again
I might have to save that for later...
yes. . What fun we have .
