CBS ^

The CBS News Battleground Tracker poll shows that Donald Trump keeps a large lead in South Carolina, bolstered by support from conservatives and also from evangelical voters, who make up a large share of the electorate here.

Yep and I have been saying the same for some time.
I had one freeper putting down Trump, actually they are obsessed with him as nearly every post is about Trump, but then looking deeper into their past posts I saw they are against Cruz too.

Seems the establishment has paid trolls on here.

"Blacks will vote for her though because they know the Clintons. Bill delivered on billions in handouts for blacks, so the black 'leaders' are happy with them still."

She's. Not. Black.

Do you know any black people happy about encounters with any old cracker woman? I do not.

She is going to lose black support 3-4% just from young people unwilling to climb on the bus for a free lunch to the early-voting place, and her cadre knows this, and does not have a game plan to replace them.

Would a black VP (Cory Booker, DeVal Patrick, etc) make up for that?

Especially if the community organizers were “wink-winking” about Hillary’s failing health?

Did anybody notice Brett Baier stick up for Trump to Stephen Hayes? Hayes started his normal I hate Trump no matter what routine and Brett Baier said something to the effect of “are you just stuck on that trump hate” or something like that. He was very aggressive about it. I thought to myself finally. I wish I could remember exactly what Baier said but it was good.

Yes, I did! But unfortunately, Baer was overshadowed by Hayes and Krauthammer. I seldom watch FNC, but I did go there for post debate “analysis.” I've pretty much switched to FBN (Varney and Dobbs). I actually don't know how they are keeping their jobs seeing as how they are objective reporters and analysts.

I was at the Trump rally in Tampa two nights ago. It was a fairly good mix of young/old attendees. The handful I spoke to, and conversations I overheard standing on line, told the story about people who were probably never really engaged in politics previously, but are just so ticked off and feel this is the last chance to stop the train from going off the tracks and they really don’t care about party politics...that is anecdotal, of course, but interesting to hear.

I think some (very few) in the media are starting to see what is happening...

Not a bad gambit at all, but Booker's skeletons have skeletons, and Patrick won't play well outside the NE Corridor and the remnant hard-core Blue states. He drones like Bobo and people are just f'ing done with that.

What she needs is a Meximaumau. Not one to be had.

Frankly, Cankles is dumb enough to pick O'Malley straight up.

Thanks for your on the spot reporting. Everyone keeps harping about Conservative this and Conservative that. All that BS won’t matter if the country swirls down the 3rd World drain. I’ve always felt that Trump cuts across party lines, and that will be his path to victory.

The whole debate set up is a GOP bashing opportunity that the RNC sets up every election. With friends like the RNC, who needs the Demonrats.

This is the RNC, a bunch of degenerate used car salesmen with greedy pulled back wives that manipulate the political system to steal everything not nailed down from the working man and put it in their pockets, as opposed to the DNC who does the same thing excepts gives some of the cash to poor in exchange for votes.

In effect, the RNC is greedier and more disgusting than the DNC.

Think about it.

If the tickets are not handed out equally at next debate, candidates should boycott.

Not true at all. Pardons are not executive actions. This power is given to the president and I believe, the verbiage of the Constitution actually states the power is absolute.

If it was only executive action, why wasn't Ford's pardon of Nixon rescinded by Carter - he couldn't. Read the Constitution.

Bill Clinton helped sink his wife's chances for an endorsement from Ted Kennedy by belittling Barack Obama as nothing but a race-based candidate.

"A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee," the former president told the liberal lion from Massachusetts, according to the gossipy new campaign book, "Game Change."

The book says Kennedy was deeply offended and recounted the conversation to friends with fury.

After Kennedy sided with Obama, Clinton reportedly griped, "the only reason you are endorsing him is because he's black. Let's just be clear."
